Shark Tank Global
Damn, how he just anxiously stands there and wipes the floor. I think he’s a little embarrassed with all the mistakes he’s made. Poor guy.
I was thinking the same thing.
everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them
He was trying to promote his product
I've never seen a metaphor play out live on tv .... "stands there and wipes the floor" ! Phew !
I did see that. Poor guy
Think twice before insulting this man. We can only imagine what the stress of running this business and feeding his family does to his sleep and health. Genuinely hope he makes it
@Honda K24 fJBlgB bruh you either dont know the definition of creep or there is something wrong with you
Pretty Sure they threw Him Out after this
You do understand that this guy pays himself a good salary. Right?
currently doing 30 million in revenue each year
He’s a very good man, he lacks communication skills but really seems like a nice person who just needs guidance. I’m sorry for what you been through Evan, and i hope you succeed.
I don't think so. his face is full of anger and anxiety. no business owner with that face would win the business success.
Yea say that when he's blown your 2.5mil to the ground.
@Rick Jones lmaoo you said go swap an engine or something lmaooooooooo good one Ricky Bobby,
He makes some really terrible business decisions. A great inventor, but an atrocious businessman.
@Honda K24 fJBlgB Are you one of his investors?
Poor man looked so stressed. Hope he’s doing well.
@Nasir Allen doubt it ill be surprised if hes still alive tbh
Lori reached out after and now he has net over 1 mill
Lori reached out after the episode and offered to help sell it on QVC despite not investing. Found one report saying they make $7 million in sales annually, but it also said the net worth was just over a million in 2021, so believe what you want, but it seems he’s finding some success after shark tank.
She needed to she messed up his deal
oh good shortly after this aired some guy came on with vacume/broom tough Market , mrasshole. lol just teasing mr scrooge !
hopefully he can compensate the losses he had and the debt
@Quetzel Medina lol what? Pretty sure that's the staple measurement for wealth. I could make 5m a year and spend 5m per year. Next guy could make 200k but only spend 100k a year and pocket or invest the rest. The guy with making 200k is wealthier than the guy making 5m because 5m man is at 0 networth where 200k could be 1m+ net worth after 10 years.
@Jason Mogollon He already had 22 investor before this show, which is bad.
I like the way he’s Wisping the floor, you know he truly believes in he’s product
@Biggie Smalls yeah, he’s pathetic.
Yeah, in « he’s » product. Right.
@Biggie Smalls I know, they're f***ing weird.
That's more like desperation, he sunk 2mil this product is only thing he has to get back
Kinda like the Scrub Daddy guy that held his product up throughout the whole presentation.
I bought one! This is a true capitalist at heart. He deserves our praise and support.
This pitch was really moving. I need the temperament of this man. He did not show any anger/defense in his face. He only showed respect and genuinely wanted guidance.
@Abdul Mumin and bad guys are sometimes finished first .
@Silent Sage it's not about the pitch itself but its his attitude i was talking about..
@Sunshine sure, but this was one of the worst pitches of all time
@Silent Sage there's a lot to learn from failure too
Yes! Respect for how he was holding himself in this stressful situation. You can see stress and fear is shaking him, but he never responded negatively to bad reactions and even bad words. Respect!!
You can tell Lori felt sick by the look on her face when Kevin and Barbara were arguing. So glad she reached out to help this man after the show.
@CounterPoint thank you it was her fault
I guess lori felt alil bit responsible that the guy lost the deal with kevin. So she reached out behind the scenes. And thats the bottomline, she helped evan.
@CounterPoint that's true too
@Thulp Fiction That’s true. That’s why I like her.
Yea but she literally tanked the deal on the show by ego’ing, which is all she ever does for the QVC products. She should’ve just let them consult her after
I like how Barbara is being so considerate of the man's emotions.
@Davis Howard don't forget the time Barbara was angry at an enterpreneur because she was living with her father
@Jaclyn PriscoShe’s the nicest one consistently
And calling Mr. Wonderful on his crap. This segment was pitiful and depressing.
and for that she's out
First time for everything I guess lol
I felt bad for the guy. After reading the comments I’m glad to see he’s doing better
I kind of like the entrepreneur, but he has clearly had more than a bit of life sucked out of him from his business
He seems like a good person that really believes in his product and just needs guidance when making business decisions. Hope the best for him though !
I feel bad for him, i would probably do the same mistakes or worse if i was in his shoes, i hope he succeeds! great product im buying one for myself!
Rules of business don't take too much money from many investors who can not help growing the business.
Business is a tough battleground. Its difficult to make decisions at times, but you got to make them. That's what makes you an entrepreneur. The man knows his stuff and is humble enough to admit his mistakes. His courage is commendable and lets hope he finds the right partner to execute his plans!
His company now has a net worth of around 14 million. I’m guessing he’s feeling better now than he did during this episode lol
His forthrightness and openess about his mistakes are such commendable things to see in a businessman!
This was brutal to watch. So many entrepreneurs come on to shark tank way too early and have irrational valuations, this guy is the opposite. If he had come on four years earlier he would be in such vastly better shape. It's just an unfortunate situation.
Broooo I thought I was is a bad situation in life but this guy being in this situation and still able to speak and be confident he has gave me strength to be smiling.
*bwahahah* I kind of made it sound like Lori married him in that rant 😆🤣 I’ll just leave that in, and say; Lori helped direct him into becoming one of the best entrepreneurs to come on the show after the episode ended. This is what some of the sharks look for, someone hardworking to find the money necessary to uphold life at its’ standards. It’s harsh, but we all pay our own prices whether from sweat & tears getting there or simply from money. His journey to get this far is beyond the worth or money, his intelligence towards business will be beyond excellent in just 5-10 years for sure. 🦮🙏
🇺🇸😇 This is what you call a “truly built entrepreneurship” and from his 6 years prior he has learned to be one of the most honest businessmen to this day. Literally the George Washington of entrepreneurs, he cut the cherry tree with these sharks and got a mother like Lori to direct him into more eased business to continue maintaining not only the product but thankfully a happy life for his family. I’m proud of America, and most definitely proud for how far someone like him can grow in such a rigid country.
damn, i feel like crying for this man, im like near to tears. I hope he gets success soon, best wishes to him. Kinda wanna hug him, he looks so damn stress
That's nice of you but I think he's doing ok now.
Kevin was extremely relentlessly mean to this man. Look how much stress he’s in. Poor guy. Wish I could give him a hug.
No decision-making, no confidence, no plan?? No hugs... definitely out of the question !!
Kevin is a realist
Kevin's alittle bit arrogant or at least that's how he shows on TV.
@Z he didn't change his mind. Lori confused him. She offered to help them and said she was out. So he wanted to make sure she would still help while he takes the deal with Kevin (which would help both of them since Kevin also had 50% there)
Insider growth reports: Although Dobson didn’t get a deal on Shark Tank, after the show, Wisp reports getting a call from Lori Greiner, who set up a relationship with Wisp via QVC to sell the products. Greiner personally endorsed the product.
Respect for Lori went through the roof
honestly although it is true and i have no doubt qvc engages in predatory practices like you described, in this instance there is no downside since he already has a 350k value inventory (10+k wisps) and can adapt consequent production accordingly. She probably saved his buisiness while making a bunch of money for herself, everybody wins. I hope he hires a buisiness person for the company tho, he badly needs it for the long run
@LCH Its better than nothing especially for products that need demos like this.
QVC isn’t the be all and end all. It can destroy small businesses because they place huge orders to meet QVC‘s demand, and then if QVC doesn’t put the product on air in a good time slot, and it sells slower than they like because of it, they threaten to return the whole order to the small biz…unless you give them a bigger cut on each sale. Then they still return a ton to the vender. It’s a huge gamble for little guys.
He's not a businessman and he knew he had this coming. So sad he had to incur so much debt to push for a product he believes in. But he's a product guy, and not many people can do that, so glad he had success after this.
“I don’t like losing $500,000, I don’t do that. Ever” Well, that aged well
Amazing product. He needs someone like lori on his team because this is actually a very good product
This one hurt to watch I feel bad for this man anxiously sweeping. I'm glad the deal didn't go through I could only imagine how much of the company he'd have left after giving away %50 on top of what he's given to the other 22 investors
Normally i would agree but this guy doesn’t know how to make a profitable company despite having a good product. He can have 1/2 a profitable company or all of one that doesn’t make money.
He came on the show for help! The Sharks are telling him what he needs to do, and they forgot they're the ones who can help him! Mr. Wonderful wants half his business, and when he asks about Lori helping, Mr. Wonderful is cruel to him! I'm sure the Sharks made mistakes at one time or another when they started out with their businesses. This poor man had been taken advantage of and needed direction. Mark and Barbara didn't help with their comments! I hope he does well with "The Wisp!
But you forget: It's a show about INVESTING in companies. NOT a advice column
@Jayaleanord Bron lmao u talking about poor, oh lord the irony 🤣 Get a mirror LoL
Cry me a river
This why u poor
After a great sales pitch, almost every minute he drops a new bit of bad news on them... Like it keeps getting worse and worse... I hope he gets his business in order and becomes successful
This is one of those rare episodes that I feel bad after they make so many mistakes. Poor guy seems genuine. I really hope he made it
Man I feel so bad for him he’s genuinely asking for help
His flip flopping at the end just demonstrated the problem he has. Hope he's getting the help he needs, he really seems to be a great guy, but some skills are missing. My heart goes out for him.
This the saddest episode ever
I'm definitely a buyer of the product and so should a good percentage of the people that watched this if you can afford it buy it. It's a great product
I read an article which claimed that its now worth 14 million dollars in 2022, after the show lori herself reached out to him and got him a deal with qvc, she personally endorsed it and it looks that he is finally making good profits. Its not clear though if she actually made a deal or got royalty for endorsement after the show but company is definitely in doing good now.
Omg thanks for this update!!! I felt so bad for him, I almost shred a tear😢, he clearly needed mentorship and a lot of help, but I was happy he owned up to his mistakes. I hated how Kevin burned him like that at the end, but I understand how business works. Thank goodness for Lori…
Lori is forever the goat of shark tank
lori always seems to do right by people who actually have great products
That makes me so relieved! I'm going to buy one of these. I hope he does well in life! Thank you for the update
Man, Kevin was wrong for burying this guy like that. He clearly is struggling
I agree, but 4 sharks were out and Kevin was literally the only one left to save him and it’s all Evan’s fault. Kevin didn’t have to save him. He should be grateful. Plus the guy lacked the sense of reading the room. The don’t lose her number comment was dumb and annoyed him and him even saying “but” in the first place was so dumb. He should have just said yes and shake Kevin’s hand.
Brakes my heart. Man i was so happy someone made an offer. Such a big mistake to leave without a deal.
We learn by making mistakes. I have so much respect for Eben. I truly wish him the best.
Barbara's right that it was too tough for that entrepreneur. Sharks already knew that he was a bad CEO and it was evident he was not quick to think. Kevin knew that by asking 50% so he can have control of the company because this guy cant be
Mark had me rolling in this clip. "That's a lot of wisping" "I own a basketball team, but I'm smart enough not to put myself on the court"
@I’m bill gates luck did. have a role but if he were to start over he would easily be making millions. The only real luck that happend is when he sold his software company for 4 billion dollars right before they ended up ending it. If this “lucky” moment didn’t happen then sure he may have been who he is today. Or he would figure it out and be the same. Point is he would easily be a multi millionaire but in terms of a billionaire that was a lot of luck
Mark couldn't put himself on the court even if he wanted to.
@I’m bill gates Some would definitely make that argument. Still doesn't make him unfunny here lol.
Mark got lucky in his success.
I feel bad for him. I hope he is doing well now. He seems to be such a nice guy.
Absolutely, could have dealt with this man better. He clearly have a good heart, and willingness, he needs guidance and mentorship.
Not taking Kevin’s deal is a blessing in disguise.
I almost shed tears when he started sweeping to calm himself. Kevin was so unfair to him with his offer.
I think this man's problem is that he's not an animal. You don't get to a mark or Kevin level of wealth without savaging a few people along the way. It's the nature of the system unfortunately.
Really felt for this man when he started sweeping after they all started telling him no..
This guy deserves the world. I hope he goes far!
He is the man. Honest and respect ...what a amazing human he is
I read up on this and it states that although he didn't get the deal his company is now worth 14 million dollars. Lori called him after and got him on QVC. She kept her word and hopefully was rewarded for her efforts. I commend her on standing on her word.
Good on him for his raw honesty and transparency.
Poor guy. You can see him sweeping his hopes and dreams away while they were grilling him. 😭
😂😂😂 I’m crying!!
Hhahahahhaa how crazy he was sweeping
I hope this trip to the Tank fid this man good. It might sound tough, but the advice they gave him is nothing but the pure truth. I really hope the best for this man.
Great Product, Lots of sales means high demand. Its sad that he lost a lot despite he had tremendous amount of sales. He took alot of risks but too much. Hope someone can help him.
I feel for this guy been in his shoe even his display for his product seem genuinely simple. A man trying to hold his dream and life saving together.
He's a good honest man, he just made so many financial mistakes.
This was not the best demonstration of Shark Tank, these sharks say they want to support people who genuinely need help, but when someone who genuinely needs and is asking for help, they are all out!
Eben is very likable. I really hope his business becomes successful
May God bless this man. Some people just make mistakes more often than others. He needs to retrain himself in decision making.
This is great. He's there to get the marketing. Telling him that is redundant. Man. He's handled this so badly.
Lori kind of confused him when she offered to help yet not investing, which is not really common, so I guess he just wanted clarification on that. However, I'm sure the deal wouldn't have been able to go through with all his investors.
It was so frustrating to watch him disrupt his own deal!
That’s not a deal! He got himself a deal walking out
felt bad for the guy, good product, likeable, just can't get out of his own way I thought it was sad that while they're telling him everything he did wrong he keeps randomly sweeping like "but look what it does." I get why they all backed out, but I hope he does okay
Lori should’ve put up the money. Pennies compared to what they’re worth.
I bought the product and it’s honestly so good !!!! I don’t get how he’s in so much debt
He is scared, nervous , doesnt know how to communicate , people like him extremly bad in sales but best human being you can ever meet . My father is just like him . The way he was sweeping floor while talking shows how much stressed he was .
This was the first time I’ve felt like Kevin was completely nasty to someone. In business a sternness is needed but being nasty is in poor taste.
Kevin was a complete douche here. The man simply asked if Lori has any ideas to add to his deal with Kevin, that's no reason to kick him out like that. This is especially true since they've already established that this is a product man, not a business man. He is clearly stressed and just wanted to hear Lori's ideas. I am glad to hear that Lori approached him after the show and helped him sell on QVC, She's such a gem.
If I was putting in half a mil and someone’s more interested in talking to someone else I wouldn’t want to hand them the money either
Lori ruined that deal she didn’t want to invest any money. Kevin kept saying he’d talk to her after the deal but Lori kept trying to finagle her way in for free. I would’ve been frustrated too
It takes real guts to admit mistakes in front of the world. And it takes a real greedy person to take advantage of it and grab 50% share. Am glad he didn't make that deal, its a blessing in disguise for him.
i don't understand how lori thinks 250k of debt over six years is insurmountable. this has a licensing written all over it. shut down the company, give the employees some convertible notes and license the FOUR PATENTS you have to the thousands of broom makers out there. or better yet, sit on the patent, and sue anyone who makes a similar product .
I feel sorry for him, seems kind and hardworking but this just seems like a struggle to get to a good profitable place, and worst of all he’s all in
Glad to read that Lori reached out to him and helped.
It really wasn't fair to him at the end, Lori kept butting in and giving some sort of last word like she was still interested to work with Kevin and Kevin would feed into it. The guy was just trying to see if there was a real chance with that since they kept bringing it up. Just unfortunate
Poor guy was very old fashioned and had no skills to tackle new age VCs much less someone like the Sharks especially O'Leary who is known for being very blunt
the sharks are not VCs, and I would not call them new age when all of them are wrinkled... lol
He needs to sell it off to some other company and move on to something else. Creating products is what he's best at. That's what he should do. Make a product, sell it to another company. There's nothing wrong with that. Kevin and Mark made their money selling their companies to some other company and then moving on. It's a perfectly legitimate path to success.
Did Lori really expect to get equity from Kevin's deal without giving any money? That makes no sense
@Paul Weis Kevin never said no he just didn’t care about it at the time because he still hadn’t made the deal. He even said he will be able to bring lory on later. He only didn’t want him taking to lory because the deal hadn’t been done and she wasn’t offering money
It sounded ike she was volunteering to help without equity. And it sounds like that's what she did after. The way I heard it, it didn't make sense why Kevin would say no, but maybe he also thought she wanted equity.
8:27 I love how at rock bottom of the pitch, while investors are about to faint, the guy just starts wiping the floor.
Kevin saw an opportunity to own a new company, I hope Even is successful, you can tell is a good man.
Good guy, good product...the business world is too brutal for him.
According to the googs, Wisp is now worth over 15 million with a whole line of products including window vacuums, self cleaning mops and other accessories
Damn. This guy suffers from MEGA stress. It’s so evident in his face. The amount of money he’s loosing, even with selling his products…. Wow.
For once I agree with Barbara, Kevin was way too harsh, tough love is ok but that was just straight up wrong like he’s worse then Simon Cowell and that reason, I’m out 😂
He seemed paralyzed by indecision. I hate to admit it because I have a similar fault and when Mark Cuban mentioned that he owns a basketball team but he doesn't put himself on the court, that must have really hurt. It is almost like hearing someone say, "Fire yourself." I am sure his investors would have liked him to take Mr. Wonderful's deal. I would take a wild guess and say that it was not the first time that he talked his way out of a reasonable opportunity. To have a deal on the table and another shark offering to help! Yikes! Sometimes the greatest skill that one can attain is knowing when to shut up.
50% is an insane amount of equity though, I dont blame him for not taking that
Ratio, L hater
You're only a failure when you give up on the product after selling that many of them, in my opinion. Until then, you're just making mistakes. Good on him for not giving up!
Lori was gonna make him an offer, until that is he said "I have 22 investors". That's something no want wants to get entangled in. Only Mr Wonderful has the guts to even make an offer but again, the guy was looking for someone who will market his product, not just give him a handout.
I was thinking he should've just been honest and said "Look, clearly from speaking with me you know I'm not a salesman, and that's why I'm here, I need your help to sell this product", and then the next sentence from the dragons mouth was exactly that. He should've just been down to earth.
This was absolutely brutal to watch, some people are just not meant to be in business....
Such a nice man Evan. Hope you are doing better.
Lori single handedly sabotaged the whole deal. She just sat there made him think she was gonna make an offer but didn't say anything. Naturally the guy asked her if she had anything to say and then kevin got insulted. Lori should just donate that 500 thousand dollars to this man for ruining his shark tank deal.
After the show, Lori helped him in his company & it reportedly made more than 10 million in sales. Hope atleast now he made some profits.
I love how the music cue for a deal being accepted started playing but then went back to tension and stingers when Kevin sat down. Great move editors XD
Ouch that was painful... Kevin’s offer definitely felt right, he just pushed his luck
Ended up getting help from Lori so in the end it was better for him to not give away all that equity
When he started sweaping the floor I almost died 😂😂😂 he didn't know what to do with his broom 😂😂😂
Solid product. I'm rooting for him, but the way he handled himself when Kevin made that offer was flat out wrong.
What you learn here is, being an inventor, or having great product does not make you great business man or rich.
I own a Basketball team, but I am smart enough not to put myself on the court. - CEO advice how to run a business.
That anger management is working well for Mr. Wonderful 😂
Its a really good product. I wish the other part can be attached to the broom in some sense where you can pick it up and dump the debries in the trash without leaning in. If this product exist then I will start sweeping my floor.
How is it even possible to blow more than $2.5 million on selling plastic brooms?? 😂 He could have literally built his own broom factory for that price. Then he still rejected a once in a lifetime bailout offer to negotiate with a dragon that was offering him $0. I highly doubt this company will ever make it alone.
lori got in contact with him, got him a deal with qvc and endorsed the product. his company is doing fine now
8:00 Kevin's reaction cracked me up I actually felt his UGH🤣🤣🤣
I feel for this man.
the fact that he kept sweeping killed me🤣
I think he and I have something in common
@Cristian Montes De Oca No thanks. I don't want to be cursed or have bad luck, by being blessed by a god.
Since everyone seems to feel bad for him, go buy his brooms and help him out..
I’m about to look for his product and get myself one, and I'm not too fond of the little line that is always left behind. I always end up just dispersing it
