Can you please discuss 'gaining mass' as losing frequency..... IE the photon is a massless particle that therefore travels at speed of light. For an object not to travel at Speed of Light it must drop in frequency / become heavier as in SLOW DOWN and therefore it falls / cant keep up, emergently gains this thing we call 'mass' and matter is eventually born. Never hear anyone discuss this from such an angle but is ONE OF my areas of interest in research

@Raul Arce No it doesn't. Just because your brain is not capable of comprehending concepts like infinite recursion, virtual particles, quantum vacuum fluctuations, etc. That doesn't not necessitate a creator. I have one simple question for you. I love it because your answer works perfectly as an answer as why a cc realtor is not necessary. My question is What created God?

Theoretically, time is a measurement of increase in entropy in the universe. I’m the beginning of our universe that we perceive and know; it started out as an infinitely small point that was certain and had by definition low entropy. Well as we move away from that so called event called the Big Bang we move closer to uncertainty and one could say universal entropy has increased. Mathematically it is perfect on a macro/micro level. But even the macro/micro level is governed by the quantum level. A level of uncertainty. A level of quantum uncertainty. Based off the fact we in our perceived current consciousness we can never be able to predict the future with certainty as we do not yet have enough bandwidth to tackle some of these formulas or harness some of these answers. We cannot know for sure everything there is about a quantum system. There is a fundamental limit, being the more precisely one knows a particles position, the less one can know about its momentum and vice versa. It is a dreadful thing to think, and a lot of scientists look this dreadfully rhetorical question the universe asks us all the time, “are you certain?” Which she echos behind with “The only thing to be certain about is the uncertainty the universe will forever gravitate too.

@Joseph mhfd can you explain further? I’m not understanding the point you are trying to make because of course my point of view is centric to me. It’s an open dialogue on a YouTube channel we are two people digesting each other’s beliefs it is okay. Centric in an organized religious sort of way to me implies I am working as a missionary to convert/propagate others which is not what has happened. Furthermore my original post is a hodgepodge of theoretical science that is published from quantum physics-physics-astrology. Wow! This Channel is awesome. Thanks for sharing such a Quality content. It's interesting how knowing more and more about our universe rises more and more questions. Such a complexity of circumstances to fit together "by chance" just to aloud us to experience life ... and death. The biggest question is WHY. I'm not really sure if science could ever give an answer to this question because probably the answer is beyond matter. It must be a point in space and time where science of matter meets "science" beyond matter. Who knows...

This is my general take on the simulation hypothesis. All universal constants are the result of an equation designed to get a value which is needed to govern a specific aspect of baseline reality. Each aspect of reality has a constant associated with it and a rule set on how to get that value. All values which are used as constants are derived from a seed value, the seed value is the one true constant. Because the universe is infinite the seed value is also infinite but not a large infinity, probably a repeating decimal.

A potential multiverse makes sense because it gives a very real justification for why our universe exists, and why we as sentient beings exist in it. Every single constant of physics (or even an infinite other number of constants that don't even exist in our universe) could be changed by an amount in order to make an alternate universe. And so, there is a multiverse featuring an infinite combination of every possible universe that could ever exist, and by a random fluke our universe is the one we live in. It also makes sense that we just so happen that we live in a universe that can support life, because a universe that could not support life would simply not be able to birth us.

We have recently been experiencing with mathematical equations to explain the mysterious dark matter that makes up the majority of gravity in out universe. We are fairly close to explaining this idea. The most robust and exciting equation is that our universe has already banged twice in the past. It is currently experiencing it's third expansion. And it looks like this may be the last expansion. Our first universe had much more dark matter. Our second was much less. And lastly, there just isn't enough dark matter left to bring our universe back together again. It will expand into a cold death. At least this is a strongly implied hypothetical direction that math is taking us. Philosophy rocks, but reality rules. Can't wait for quantum computing. This will soon become child's play.

This has been one question that has always been in the back of my mind since I started learning about physics. That if there are laws, then there must've been a process that made the laws, as they seem too specific to be a product of random possibilities which can only make sense if every possible configuration has been tried out, but there are other complications with this approach as you mentioned. It's like a puzzle has been given to us that we can not be certain is the complete puzzle.

@Steven Switzer yea I get what you mean and I appreciate you taking the time to comment my point is that DNA is a set information that determines the outcome. this isn't much different from the function of a code which is information designed to make an outcome. If there even is a slight error in the code the outcome will fail. DNA is just to complex to come into existence by chance it is like saying a library filled with books of information came into existence by chance at least to me. even the first cell had alot of DNA which made it up and it needed that amount to even exist, how could such complexity come about? God bless

Computor code is wave-form energy. Probably similar to human thought which is also in some ways wave-form energy. Ancient words for Spirit and Soul etc in Hebrew & Greek all boil down to common denominators of meaning which are Air, Wind, Vapour etc. In other words, something which flows = Waves. We exist because YHUH Elohim spoke the worlds into existence & maintains them by the power of his Word. Words are vibrational wave-form energies. "In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth." Elohim = God/s, Power/s Heavens = skies/dimensions. Earth = matter "Elohim is light" Photons of light seem to be conscious due to wave-particle duality. Light = entire Electromagnetic Wave Spectrum, not just visible light. Thus all these wave-forms are power and energy thus "In the beginning conscious Energies created the Skies, Dimensions, Matter and Earth." In essence we exist in the mind and words of YHUH the Creator. That's my view. Good init!

This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, frantically hanging on to the notion that everything's going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; so the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. The numbers are marked, like the keypad, from 1 to 9. If you make the sum 1+2+3=6. If you divide 6 by the middle number, which is 2, the total is 3. If you make the sum 4+5+6=15. If you divide 15 by the middle number, which is 5, it equals 3. If you add 7+8+9=24. If you divide 24 with the middle number, which is 8, it equals 3. If you add 1+4+7=12. Divide 12 by the middle digit, which is 4, it equals 3. If you add 2+5+8=15. Divide 15 by the middle number 5, the answer is 3. Add 3+6+9=18. Divide 18 by the middle number, which is 6, and you still get 3. If you add 1+5+9=15. Divide 15 by 5, it equals 3. If you add 3+5+7=15. Divide 15 by 5, it equals 3. Then let us try something different. Add 123+321=444. Divide 444 by the middle digit, which is 2, you get 222. Add 456+654=1110. Divide 1110 by the middle digit, which is 5, you get 222. Add 789+987=1776. Divide 1776 by the middle digit, you get 222. Add 147+741=888. Divide it by the middle digit, which is 4, you get 222. Add 258+852=1110. Divide 1110 by 5, you get 222. Add 369+963=1332. Divide 1332 by 6, you get 222. Add 159+951=1110. Divide 1110 by 5, you get 222. Add 357+753=1110. Divide 1110 by 5, you get 222 Now let us add all the numbers together. 1+2+3+...9=45. Divide 45 by the middle digit, which is 5, then you get 9 blocks in total. It can even be done with any other consequent numbers, and you will still get 9 as your final answer. I also found that if you replace 1, 2, 3...9 etc., with let's say 11, 12, 13...19, or any other consequential numbers in the same grid, you get the same results with the same above formulae! On the same concept, I discovered many other paterns too, and found that Phi, the golden number, is present in my other formulae too, something I should make a video of to explain the complexity in a visual manner. To me, the model has three dimensional properties, where it can be visualized as having breadth, width and distance. If that is not perfect, I don't know how else we can explain an intelligent design. Now we should ask, what does it mean? I have been playing with a theory inspired by the Great Pyramid of Giza, which was discovered in 1940 on an Equinox morning by an British Air Force pilot that the pyramid does not have 4 sides, but actually 8 sides. From the air, the pattern looks exactly the same route my formulae goes. Then I wonder, what if the pyramid builders try to convey a message to us by method of mathematics. What if we say that we live in a virtual realty made up by numbers, a matrix if I may say, and view the above examples as two seperate Universes where the one has a master number as 3, while the second has a master number of 222, then it would be fair to take the total of the 9 blocks, for example 1+2+3+...9=45, and add the same total 9 blocks from the second model, which is also 45, and multiply 45×45=2025. That is a date 3 years from now! In numerology, the number 222 is an angelic number that promise us good news to come. Maybe the pyramid builders promised us something good to happen in 2025? We live in interesting times already. Can it be possible? Please give your opinion on this topic, because your views might help direct me into some perspective that I could understand it's meaning. Thanks for the great and informative video!

I think it can all be interesting, but ultimately it doesn't matter. We don't know if those constants can be different from what they are, maybe it's like asking what if Pi was different. Maybe the neutron can't possibly be lighter than an electron, because then it would have had the electron's properties, and vice versa. And if our existence is unlikely, that can just mean that the dice were rolled that many times. Unless people proposing those things can come up with testable hypothesis it's all speculation. I especially dislike the idea of our universe being simulated, because it doesn't explain anything. It's as good an explanation as a god would be. How did the universe doing the simulating come into existence? If it could, why couldn't have ours? It's just silly. Still, I've enjoyed the video, so thank you for making it :)

I am a lay person but like many fascinated by existence. The one problem I have with this video are the many assumptions, one in particular concerning gravity. "If gravity was too strong it would be sucked into numerous black holes locking away all the atomic material needed for life". So I asked myself what would we be left with, a universe of just black holes? and if such was the case would we know the future development of the universe, maybe life could come to be in the black holes, we know virtually nothing about them, so we are left with just assumptions concerning what would/could be. Everything said is based upon what we currently know which gives us the reality we now know. I am sure there are endless possibilities of reality regardless of FSC. Why we exist, we may never know, after all in eternity if something can happen it will, hence us. I believe nothing will ever know everything, there will always be more questions that answers As said at the start I have no education in these matters other than an addictive curiosity about the whole business, so go easy on me.

The question that will forever be asked " can we trust the ethical ' conduct ' of scientists" After the past two and a half years, the clear answer is clearly we cannot. I used to be an atheist.. But I have changed, and I now consider myself spiritual. Even if we are living in a simulation, someone made that simulation. If there are multiple universes, this could be the result of testing the simulation in order to make it work (so you'd have a great number of universes, all with their own laws of physics). Neither the simulation hypothesis, nor the multiverse theory takes away from the fact that there is a "force" responsible for the existence of our universe. This video just solidified my belief in how special life truly is.

We're left with two choices: We live in one of a multitude different universes or God created the universe. A Darwinian process have produce life and us. Then perhaps, a stochastic if not Darwinian process could have produce the "perfect" (for us) universe we live in. I'm not so sure that a different universe with different constant would have been "sterile". Maybe some other combination of constant can produce "something" that arise to consciousness.

"Why Is the Universe Perfect?" I highly recommend you read anything by Benoit Mandelbrot. The "perfection" we see is an illusion because we are hard-wired to ignore what he called "roughness." I would also add that in any discussion of perfection we need to discuss entropy. Yes, a flower looks perfect and could lead one to conclude that there is a fundamental order to the universe. But what that person ignores are the millions of tons of fusion atoms, disintegrating water, and CO2 that were destroyed to make this tiny piece of order. As Dark Matter and Dark Energy show us, the real rulers of the universe are behind the scenes, rather than what is obvious in front of us.

@DanDeMan "Dark matter" and "Dark energy" are just words, and neither have ever been directly observed. They are phrases that act as placeholders for mysterious entities, which we are not absolutely certain even exist, they are postulated simply in a feeble attempt to explain why galaxies rotate in a way that our current understanding of physics cannot explain, and why the universe appears to be expanding at an ever faster rate. No astrophysicist or cosmologist on earth can say they know what either of them actually are.

Perfection is a human concept that is logically unattainable, like infinity. The universe is what it is, if it was different then perhaps some other beings would be pondering the same questions we are and not us - but equally as futile. Only when you know everything that there is to know about the universe you can make a judgment as to its perfection.

@El Din I think you need to relearn the definition of theory. The definition is as fallows; A scientific theory is an explanation of an aspect of the natural world and universe that has been repeatedly tested and corroborated in accordance with the scientific method, using accepted protocols of observation, measurement, and evaluation of results. Science may be a “belief” if you want to use that term, but it is not a “faith based belief”. As in no one believes that atoms exist because they were told they do or read it in an ancient book. They believe atoms exist because someone made a hypothesis (the word people most often get confused with theory, like you did) that they exist and then that hypothesis was sent through all sorts of tests and experiments to see if they can find the evidence or prove their existence, which they have, which is why the science community believes they exist. So a “faith” based belief is different from one based on actual testable facts. And to answer that last question, I’m not trying to tell the other people the same thing. Only you. Only one other person in This chat is a Christian, the others seem to know how the scientific method works, so therefore I have no need explaining it to them. You copied and pasted the same thing to multiple people in the same comment thread, that’s why I pointed that out.

Vor 20 Tage

@Anthony Campagnolo oh ok. Didn't know that. And as far as keeping my religion to myself...all of this is someone's religion. Theory is belief. Gravity is the mutual attraction caused by the masses of two (or more) objects. This attraction has not yet been explained how it happens. In my opinion, the secret must be at the subatomic level of the matter structure and its relationship to the equivalent energy of the masses! Who knows? — Someone tell me what the neutrons are doing among the protons and what quarks do inside them!

If we are in a simulation, what made the universe above ours possible. If we are in a multiverse, what rules dictate said multiverse, and why are the universes so similar.

Vor 16 Tage
Archadeus000
Archadeus000

@Gil Your observation isn't a "GOTCHA!" if that's what you're thinking. Me saying that it's possible we're in a simulation isn't contradictory with me saying the question of god is a stupid one. You have to think about what people mean when they say "god", 99.9999999998% of the time when they do they mean some Abrahamic or other human theologized entity. That and other hyper powerful entities we as a species presumed existed before the advent of greater knowledge and technological advancement, we deemed gods. So when I say the question of god is moot, it's just that. There is no evidence anyone has or could present to present the need for such a question to be taken seriously. Frankly it's the same with a simulation being our existence, instead of it just being what reality is. But I tell you what, it's sufficiently plausible that we could be in a simulation only because we're invented simulation technology that is impressively realistic to some degree. So if the progressive curve of technological advancement breaks from it's current processing limit v energy cost v heat output plateau we're currently at then there'd be more there to suggest that a sufficiently realistic simulation could exist and be convincingly real and on par with reality. But that still leaves the point that, we're probably just the first terrestrial sentient species at that technological level to have reached that point. Which is more likely the case. Think about this too, let's assume there is a simulation so impressive, it accurately simulates our reality down to the fundamental particles, laws and everything. At what point does the simulation cease to be a simulation and just a clone of the "real universe"? If we could achieve that, does that make us gods? Or does that mean we just achieved what we once thought was impossible scientifically or theologically and we're just really skilled apes. Does that make us worthy of worship, prayer or consideration? I think not, and we would never be able to meet the creators of the simulation unless they decided we could or should. We are not important, special or significant in either case. What's the point in worrying your existence, waging wars, ruining people's lives based on a self deluded sense of self importance and significance? We could be making our existence here, collectively better without religious delusions, presumptions and ideologies. There is no god, there never was and never will be, people aren't sinful or unworthy. We're just a bunch of really brainy apes who think too much, worry too much and have too much anxiety.

I have tried desperately to live in the world the rest of you do since I was 1 y/o , as far back as I remember . I studied the science's diligently and tried to come to grips with what I see and how I experience life . I have seen spirits , ghosts or whatever you choose to call them for most of my life . Thought I was crazy until I met others that see the same things at the same time ! I had a documented out of body experience during a widow maker . Not an NDE which makes mine unique . I was still very much alive , but floating around the room communicating using my body even though I was not in it . I was able to completely stop the pain (though it was not me that did it ) , with no drugs at all , I never took anything the entire time , even during the operation . Not because I am tough as nails , because I was not in my body , I felt nothing but pure bliss while it all happened . During this time , I was half in , half out is the best and only way to describe it . This world faded partially away and another place ( not heaven) faded partially in either on top of or under this reality . They were both real and overlapping at the same time . I was in the ER , but I was outside in the forest too. And yes , being a man of science , I know exactly what this sounds like . It drives me crazy trying to explain any of this knowing how everyone else sees things . The truth to this reality is out there right now for anyone that searches for it . Not blindly believes everything they are told or read somewhere . There is a reason nothing lines up and we have all these constants that can never be proven or observed . I have already come to the conclusion that no one wants to believe me , which is understandable and quite ok by me . I am reserved to just saying you will see when the time comes . Everything you think you know is wrong , all of it . And that is the polite way of putting it . I am still like everyone else too , trying to figure out wth is going on here . I do not think aliens are aliens at all , I believe they come from these other places , but right here , not light years away . Time is an illusion . There is no time , we made it up . The past is a memory and the future is an expectation . Our ability to contemplate such things is just part of why we are here to begin with , it is not random . This is something you just know when your between reality's ! I know there are ways to force out of body experiences . Perhaps you can do that and see for yourself what I am trying to put into words . You will know instantly what I know . I know I am seeing less than .000001% of what is actually out there , or that is how it feels now . Yet , I am much more content in life having seen these things for what they are . Especially now that I am positive , this is not the end . I will add that there are some scientists right now that are on the right track . Tesla knew something I am sure of it . When I left my body , I was vibrating at an incredible frequency , very very fast. I could hear this slight humming noise that was in tune with my vibration . Sounded like whah whah whah . It felt like I was in tune with something so much bigger than myself . But , vibration and frequency are important to this reality . Do with that what you will !

@Rich Lewis Sorry I wrote a longer reply but it keeps getting deleted I am not sure why, also sadly your comment is getting lower and lower in the comment section, that probably means that you are getting lots of dislikes, people don't like to hear the truth :(

@Rich Lewis I am glad that you had a religious experience :)

@- Guidance To God - So , I did have a religious experience ! I just leave that part out because it makes people dismiss me . And , we all have different beliefs . I do not want anyone to think one religion is better than another . Every (ancient) religion has the same truths in them , but also reflects cultural beliefs . It is better to find what they all have in common rather than focus on the differences . I was an atheist before this happened , but still searched intently for answers . This was God's way of answering me ! I learned so much more than I am willing to share because I know now how important it is to find out for yourself !

I believe your story. NDEs and other strange experiences are real, not hallucinations. You said: "Everything you think you know is wrong , all of it" You are right, most people didn't find the truth. I am glad that you have the courage to have different beliefs than most people around you. Please I beg you to read the Holy Quran, it has all the answers you are looking for. After reading the Quran you will understand that most people know nothing about reality. God created everything. God tells us in the Holy Quran that there is an afterlife (Heaven and Hell), that we have a soul / spirit (it is the answer for The Hard Problem of Consciousness), that miracles do happen, that angels and demons are real, that Jesus is a prophet of God (not the son of God), that there is a Day of Judgment. You said: "I know I am seeing less than .000001% of what is actually out there" That is true. Quran chapter 2 verse 3: "who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and donate from what We have provided for them," The unseen includes: angels (could be trillions of angels?), demons, Heaven and Hell, etc. I truly hope that you find the truth, and earn eternal life in heaven. God bless. Quran chapter 3 verse 133: "And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous."

After the last star dies (killing any civilizations that might still be hanging on), the universe may persist infinitely long in cold darkness. The existence of every living thing that has ever lived, anywhere, is as significant as a tiny bubble forming and immediately popping in your bathtub. It is the height of hubris to believe the universe is somehow programmed with life in mind, rather than life (and let’s go further and say “matter”) being a byproduct of random fluctuations in an infinitely large bulk of potential universes.

"There are only 92 natural atoms." 91, actually. Element 43, Technetium, has no stable isotope. It's produced in trace amounts when more stable radionuclides (such as uranium) decay, but for all intents and purposes it doesn't exist in nature.

You can only ask the question, "why is the universe perfect?" in a perfect universe.

Well whatever you believe, remember that you are living in the time of this questions and it's an amazing time. Just the thought that elements in our body are made by nuclear reaction in a star out there its blowing my mind away. Thank you sir.

If it takes infinite energy to travel at the speed of light then where is the energy coming from to cause galaxies to move away from us in every direction faster than the speed of light? Wouldn't it need to be more than an infinite amount of energy? More energy than what the entire universe already contains in all of the matter? How is it possible?

What about all the matter and energy that goes out of our reach each second going beyond the our cosmic horizon, doesn't that break Lavoisier rule. It seams that not everything transforms, as time goes by things are gone forever. One day we will only able to see our galaxy and everything else will be beyond that horizon, which means that it really doesn't exist from our perspective. So somethings are created and other things are lost forever and the Universe doesn't follow the rules we are taught when we observe it at very large scales.

Why would the constants of other universes have to vary from ours? It seems more like a preference, a hypothetical of choice.

I think it’s cool to think that we (intelligent life) are the universe’s attempt to experience itself. The universe arranged itself in such a way to create beings that could sense and interact with its surroundings and even ponder itself and it’s purpose. We are the very thing that we have toiled for generations to understand.

I wish you'd have also covered the explanation that the constants appear fine tuned because as the simulations have shown, most other combinations don't allow for complexity, and thus wouldn't allow us to exist to question the specific values of the constants in the first place. IMO it's the most compelling explanation. This covers why the constants have their specific values, leaving only the 'how' (which is covered by regular physics stuff).

@Os I just told you, in the most plain terms possible... I don't know how to make it even more simple I can repeat it again, adding some emphasis: "In every single different scenario possible (1º necesity, 2º inteligent design, 3º multiverse, 4º evolutionary cosmology 5ºetc etc) the inhabitants of that universe could reason that way (insert anthropic principle here) They can use that "explanation" And any "explanation" that can be applied to EVERY scenario possible, even if all of them are completely different at the core, isn't an explanation, it's just a hollow simpleness

@TheChzoronzon can you explain that in simpler terms? Because I really don't see why the anthropic principle is useless.

We are all perfectly flawed including the universe. In imperfection, there is perfection.

This probably has nothing to do with this video but I “constantly” see the number 137 through out my day. It’s brought a lot of Curiosity to what this means and if it’s some kind of message. The fine structure constant.

Our universe is just one of many different types of universes, it isn’t a simulation. The Multiverse is the most logical explanation for the creation of at least one perfect universe. The fact that we might not be able to prove it is irrelevant and doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist—such hubris.

Hubris is expecting others to believe you without you providing any evidence. You're like a bully who thinks that they can force beliefs and behavior on others.

I think, the values of nature's constants are measurements from a possible variation of universe that is so far stable. But since we are collabsing wave functions on dayly bases and mess around with these constants like humanity allways entered new territories, this could drasticaly change. This may sound very unscientific, but think about nuclear waste or spacejunk etc.

There are serious problems with each of the alternatives. So I propose that it is a combination of the three: a god is simulating multiple universes. This answers how the parameters of the multiverse are chosen, god is impartial, free will is an illusion, etc. But, of course, it doesn't say anything about god or the nature of the existence of god's universe (it may not have atoms or other constructs of which we are familiar). Yes, it is totally not testable and unscientific but at some point every answer to 'why' is not testable and unscientific.
