Your friend can be your soulmate, as in a person who gets you and shares your views and interests and humour. Better to live in the moment than waste life trying someone matching you as a soulmate. As for souls, I just believe in them. It is hard to explain, I just know I have one. I don't think the mind and brain alone aren't enough to form our sense of self. For instance, I always had a sense of right and wrong without anyone teaching me that. I contribute that to being part of who I am at my core. It is like an instinct that makes me who I am.

Well as far as I'm aware, Tobey and Kristen only dated for the first movie and had broken up or broke up during the second movie. So they were together for about a year or so and I'm not sure they got as serious as the other two Spiderman couples did/have given that Andrew and Emma dated for about 4 years and seemingly Tom and Zendaya have been dating for about 3 years.

Difference is that Tom & Zendaya just publicly acknowledged their relationship this year, whereas everyone knew Tobey & Kirsten and Andrew & Emma were pretty much dating right away.
