Graham Hancock is a British author and former journalist. He is known for his controversial views on the possibility of a lost advanced civilization of the Ice Age, and his investigations of cataclysmic Earth changes, megalithic architecture, altered states of consciousness, ancient myths, and astronomical data from the past. He is the author of many extraordinary, best-selling books, such as "America Before", "Magicians of the Gods", "The Sign and the Seal", "Fingerprints of the Gods", "Heaven's Mirror", "Underworld", and "Supernatural".

The first half of this video is an original piece of writing from Graham Hancock. The 2nd half is from his lecture, "America Before: The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilization". The full presentation can be viewed here www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAccZ...

Graham Hancock is someone I really look up to. Very early in my youtube career, I had the great pleasure of meeting Graham. He was so encouraging and he inspired a thrilling curiosity about our past. And here we are 5 years later. I am proud to present this presentation. Graham has a beautiful way with words. It was an honor to add art to this. A while back, my therapist asked me if I ever felt overcome with feelings of "Impending Doom"... "Who doesn't?", was my reply. He asked me what I did to cope with such feelings... What works best for me is: whenever I feel helpless, or at the mercy of the very real possibility of the cataclysmic downfall of Civilization, I seek out, and obtain educational material pertaining to self sufficiency, off-grid living, and the identification of wild edible and medicinal plants for foraging. Knowledge is Power.

I asked my Grandmother about the great depression of the 1930's. She said, we didn't have any money before the depression, so didn't make much difference to us. We had a farm, mules to do the plowing, a milk cow. We grew all the food we ate, and knew how to hunt. People in the city had a hard time, but we did OK.

During my time in (rural) Afghanistan I had the utmost respect for the people there and their ability to live in such a rudementary way. In such a harsh environment they had flourishing agriculture and basic yet effective irrigation systems. I had the pleasure of watching them build massive structures from mere dirt. The nomadic Kuchi tribe was even more impressive. If the s**t ever hits the fan these people will have no trouble surviving.

"We ceased to nurture spirit, we ceased to love and tend the earth and we no longer regarded the universe with reverent awe and wonder!" A truly heart-wrenching phrase. Indeed what have we done! 😟

I've recently took up gardening and teaching myself how to farm due to the lockdowns. This video reinforces my decision and exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you!

I truly love this guy. His books, videos and posts on social media have been exactly what I needed to bring me through the mental health crisis that the pandemic has brought me. I find it soothing to know that we as humans are so blinkered we can't even acknowledge that we don't really know anything. We are toddlers with guns and people like Hancock are trying to drag our species into the light.

Graham is a gem and it's going to be interesting when his ideas on the world are eventually brought more to light and widely accepted. Maybe not but, I think one day they will be.

As always, incredible work. Thank you to After Skool and Graham for another mind bender. As a result of these teachings, I've booked a one week bush survival course for my colleagues. Not because I believe that if civilisation collapses we will be equipped to survive it, but rather to embrace the earth and nurture our respect for what we do on a daily basis in our city dwelling lives.

I've always loved your work Graham, and Santha's. There's many people today who are moving forward with off grid living ideas, and more self sustaining eco villages are popping up everywhere. It is starting to force the governments to create new zoning laws for alternative living habitats. I really hope it catches on. I'm 36 and have been sharing my research journey with my daughter who is 19. To aim to live more in tune with nature, less is more, having a smaller eco footprint. I'm buying a Tinyhouse in about a year or two, and have some friends interested in following suit.

This was so amazing to listen to this with an open mind interview the world as a whole it shows again we are repeating history and just my opinion it seems like we have allowed the elite to destroy civilization based off of greed and power and that is just my opinion Thank you so much for putting such amazing content and thought together

Thank you Graham and After Skool, I love these productions. My mind has pondered this for years and my spirit gets heavy in thinking of all that would be lost and the way in which people are too ignorant to notice their own dependence. I am a people too. Would I survive? Only time will tell. Heres to hoping God will spare us disaster and we can pull together in good grace should some catastrophe take place putting petty difference aside to care for one another. Heres to hope!

The Bronze Age Collapse was a real thing and was the result of the breakdown of international trade and the rise of internal and external conflict. Only the Egyptian state survived. I think that the legends of such places at Atlantis are an amalgam of memories and stories the great civs that fell.
