Damn it bro! Prison was my favourite landing spot for real! I got my very first win there. This was in October 2017. Damn it's so long ago, good times man. I was so lucky, I landed prison and the ring stayed on me the entire game, I did get 6 kills though.

Gotta say Chapter 2 Season 2. It brings back so many great memories of lockdown w my mates.

Here's the thing, I could blame myself for this as I have changed quite a lot since 2017. The true golden age I've been through, done it, got the t-shirt. Bringing us up to the pandemic, the dawn of a new era, I became really intrigued by Chapter 2s narrative towards the beginning. Ego vs Alter, Ghost vs Shadow, an empire of espionage. Additionally, there was a great, balanced lootpool and it felt like huge change that succeeded in many ways, levels unlike most recently. C2S2 was probably the only thing that got me through that terrible and confusing time. I felt I was participating to the fullest, wasn't missing a day, never missed the hours, and It felt incredibly engaging, from the story/journey of the characters involved, you consider their thoughts, feelings and emotions, as people that couldn't talk to the audience, yet mumbled unforgettable voicelines whilst guarding their unique point of interest along with great weaponry. All that being said, the very last seasons of Chapter 2, the aftermath of all things good was being clueless, lost and whether or not it was worth it. Chapter 3 opened a new door. The POIs were great and I loved the reintroduction of Tilted. However, with a much smaller map and seemingly less intriguing storyline, I started to really miss the previous seasons. It felt nothing like what I had been playing for the past 4½ years. But I didn't hate the game. The introduction of No-build had put me off my game slightly. Nonetheless, I continued my journey and eventually got over that rough patch. Chapter 4 seemed less interesting than the last and I was left feeling disappointed by the map size and the direction in which the storyline was going. However the POIs were quite interesting and I still got my fair share of combat in the streets. However the storyline still bugged me. It didn't flow, it didn't feel as solid as previous storylines. Other big titles on the market had caught my eye at this point, and my fortnite gameplay started to decrease, whilst I had started to get involved in other online projects and communities. Maybe it's because life has taken over, maybe it's because I'm 20 and employed, or maybe it's just simply change in interest. I've never hated Fortnite, how could I? It's the game that virtually raised me when my parents couldn't, it protected me from all evil, the divorce, everything. It has seen me from 14 through 20 and a part of me is so grateful for that. A game luke no other, an online community like no other and it will always have a place in my heart. I don't hate this game and never will. But it's sort of sad to see that I've drifted apart from it.

That's called growing up. I got into fortnite in chapter 1 season 2, kids I coached who played basketball got me into it. I'm an older guy met some good friends on there who became fs family during quarantine we played all night until the morning do to the lock downs. So chapter 2 holds a special place for me. We still get together and play but 2 of us mostly play apex now.

C1S8. honestly my fav.

might be a bit bias since i started playing that season, but season 9. you had all the different biomes, the desert, jungle, snow. there were my 3 favortie pois ever-pleasant park, dusty divot and fatal fields (wich tbh might be my favorites purely for nostalgia). there were the wind tubes and floating platforms around the map for good mobility, the block was cool... and i made so many great memorys on that map with my friends aswell, oh what id do to be able to play on it again
