@Anton Hilbig  possibly, but great musicians can play with each other for the first time and "read" each other's cues or setup... for example. During " on top of spaghetti " you can see Jamie reacting to the drummer setting up the next verses . That's just one cue they can pick up on.

@Tae Wiz well first of all yes the roots are crazy talented, but nevertheless my point is, that they probably like all talk shows, went through the show before at least once and at least kind of talked about how the songs were gonna be. It wasn't just randomly chosen like it seems there and for the actual live improvising the roots are definitely good enough to adjust for that.
