The incredible moment is looking at what the Tories said and what labour said. Tories - "we think we won because people needed to move on, we had a message about getting done what people had voted for" Labour - "THE TORIES LIE, THERE SCUM, WE LOST BECAUSE THERE CHEATS......." and they wonder why they lost.

Why were labour defeated so heavily? Two reasons: A: Keynesian, fantasy economic policy, and, B: Momentum.

It seems to me that the fundamental issue in this British election was "Which of the two candidates, Johnson or Corbin, do I want to be the leader of this country?" Johnson's rough and, yes, even vulgar personality appealed to working class voters. Like Thatcher, he is a populist. As a working class person myself, I would any time vote for a man like Johnson, who very much seems to have my interests at heart, rather that the effete Corbin jawing on about abstruse issues which seem completely disengaged from my reality. In addition, I think that PC, Woke, gender confusion/identity and such issues are not of any interest to the working class. Working class people of both sexes like the man's man style of Johnson. You may think this fascist, sexist, whatever, the vote expressed what the majority want. This election was not about issues; it was about personalities. That is why Johnson won hands down.

The fact is labour abandoned working class people. If my grandparents knew I’d voted Tory or even my parents they would be furious. They would see me as a traitor to my class. Even to my family. The fact is labour has gone very hard left and basically called working classes and what’s important to us hard right. Racist. Bigot. What we are is decent people who work hard for what we have. We have common sense and we vote on what’s important to us. We are not un intelligent we are very very intelligent. And we know the world. Students don’t know the world. Hard left activists don’t know the real world because they’ve never lived in it. We have to earn everything we have. No one gives us nothing. Socialism and Marxism will never be accepted again in Britain because they amount to communism. The sooner labour and the hard left realise that the better.

Well the lady will soon know who Boris is and Brexit will be done and the country will move on and U.K. will bounce back in three years after the damage done by Covi19. Politicians assume certain criteria and they promise certain things on that and when the criteria changes then they have to do things differently. This is not lying, this is change of circumstances leading to other factors. No body really knowingly lies. So don’t make allegations or jump to conclusions.

If he won a 1 seat majority, or did a coalition then you could say that, but he won an OUTSTANDING number of votes from people who have never voted for the Conservatives.
