For future reference: Chalice is super good for the King’s Leap, with her parry dash which is horizontal. Also, in Mortimer Freeze’s second phase, look at the anticipation of the snowman. If he puts his body up, he’s gonna jump. If he bends backwards towards the ground, he’s going to roll.

I’ve been waiting awhile for this video and the DLC. Its been 4 years and it was definitely worth it. I’d imagine its not the last bit of Cuphead content.

I love how Dan has the lowest damage build possible at the beginning, guess he just wanted to make it as tedious as possible for himself.

This game's lines for boss deaths are exceptional! "A 'W' for me and an 'L' for you!" The knight moves in L shapes, and L stands for Loser, this is brilliant. "Beating you was pretty straightforward!" The Rook moves STRAIGHT FORWARD "Too little, too late, I dare say that's checkmate!" Because the queen is an insane piece in chess, and it also makes sense that the queen boss is difficult due to how crazy she is in chess. I'm done bro this game is amazing

The Knight's lines are so cursed💀 I didn't expect him to say "L bozo" so casually💀

for future reference the crackshot is insanely good as far as I can tell. chalice also has a dodge roll and a parry dash, as well as double jump and an extra heart. you were also using the worst damage setup in the game, seeing as how your extra hp charm lowers your health, and chaser does the worst damage. peashooter is also pretty weak at least compared to some other weapons. glad to see you doing well as a youtuber, still making great content! keep it up!

FINALLY this DLC came out ever since 2018 I started playing Cuphead and became one my most favorite games ever, I wish to currently do this DLC after an entire year without news. Wish me luck guys.

The DLC was really designed with Chalice in mind, as a lot of the bosses become way easier when using her

Actually they were designed for both chalice and the brothers. You can do the bosses just as easily without chalice

Also the unknown relic actually unlocks a graveyard puzzle that you can do somewhere in the map. If you complete the graveyard puzzle, then all of the Overworld map music changes to an ominous stroll type of music.

Not sure if Dan realized this but all the chess piece bosses' death messages reflect what they actually do. The pawns say "one by one" because you can only move them one step forward. The knight says "an L for you" because knights can only move in Ls. The rook said "Beating you was pretty straightforward" since rooks can only move forward. Finally, the queen says "checkmate" which is pretty self-explanatory (Also, the queen's head is spinning on the sceptre)

The Bishop also says " I've got you beat from every angle " which symbolises that they can only move diagonally (at an angle).

Dan doesn't realise how hard it is to beat the horse with Cuphead/Mugman and how much easier it is to do with Ms. Chalice.

What if you complete the entire game, but instead of using your preffered abities, used the cursed relic? I wonder if it gives a secret ending. There must be a reason that you get it at the end.

I literally remembered seeing this in 2019 when I was in second grade thinking “Man I think this is going to be cool” four years later looking at this the DLC has finally came and it’s amazing (Still I would’ve liked it when it was supposed to come out a 2020) :/

He'll probably figure this out in the video but just in case he doesn't, the side that the devil and the angel are on depends on which way you're turned if your turn towards him that's where the devil will be and if you're turned away the angel will always be behind you. That's how you can kind of avoid taking too much damage especially when it comes to those long columns of fire you can turn that into long columns of absolute nothing really because they don't do anything at that point

For a guy from Britain I'm surprised he doesn't know what a Queen's porcelain egg is. The last battle is actually supposed to be a battle against the devil in his 2 forms and in the background is the devil's skull or skeleton.

Its a good feeling when the dlc releases and every youtuber plays it. I just completed it and i just wanna say, its awesome! 10/10 Its definitely worth it. For 7.99 dollars, its Too good to be true. Its kinda sad that it isnt 3 player cus 3 characters but that would just make it harder. Its awesome to see how far this game has come Not to mention the netflix shows character voices kinda fit.
