I can't explain it, but to confuse you more, the pink dress had stuff over her arms which would make it harder to change that quick Edit: I just noticed she started tugging the belt of her dress before the change. Must've been important for the trick.

Actually, it is the top straps that make all of this possible. Looking at a rehearsal where confetti was used instead of pyrotechnics, the straps consist of several folded layers that when a string is pulled out, drop from her shoulders and unfurl into this silver finish. the whole thing is anchored at the belt line and when it drops it reveals the silver cups underneath. only thing I have yet to figure out is what cuts the seams at the shoulders, since all i see is a string being pulled at the waist.

This still looks so glamorous and beautiful! Eurovision 2011 still remains my favorite!
