My Son moved to Korea from Inverness Scotland UK 9 years ago to teach English for one year, he never came home, he now lives on Jeju island off the south coast. He loved the place so much, its culture of respect, its people and of course its amazing food. Visited him after 5 months, it was February and freezing cold, but what an amazing trip it was. Visited him in August the following year to attend his wedding, two men in kilts got a lot of attention (men is skirts) 😁. My Son and Daughter moved to Jeju island during the pandemic, visited them in October 2022 to see not only them, but my new baby Grandson who is so cute. Heading back for my third trip in April 2023, cant wait 🏯✈⛩🎎

The whole reason why people rise to stardom in the first place was due to the support they received. The law of supply and demand. When demand increase, aka fan support, the supply aka the star goes up to match the demand. When demand drops, supply drops. Which is why everyone is expressing their thanks to their fans, not just in Korea.

Really different from western culture whose stars act like Super Stars who are high and beyond stars toward their fans. Western stars attitude is "You, fans, need me;" while Korean entertainment culture is the other way around

Wow, what a dream come true! In my opinion, that was more exciting than meeting any celebrity or anyone else on earth. My brother-in-law was invited to an event there and met the King when he was still Prince Charles. He received the Ashden Award for Sustainable Energy for his non-profit called Trees, Water and People. What a great experience. That is quite an honor and a testament to the respectful and responsible content you release while simultaneously entertaining us.
