I will never understand all the bizarre choices these tall apes make about how to spend their very, very limited time.

If you think it is odd that a tall ape would create resonate hunks of steel, and then sit around and hit them and feel good - then you have never yourself learned to make music - and you owe it to yourself, to do so. (I think I really ran on that run-on sentence...) - No bad feelings meant - go learn to make art with your very, very limited time. You won't regret it a bit. :)

Holy Cow. What is there not to like.

Amazing, but I cant help but feel that something is lost in the digital conversion (sounds like tape source? Also J card art). If you've got a good DAC it helps but IMHO you can only get to experience those full bodied mind-gripping tones and throbs with original analog media.

Remarkable! Like a mix of Gary Burton's vibraphone and a Ligiti choir.

You step into a telephone box at night only to discover it is in fact a mirrored hallway of wind chimes. As you walk, the light dims and the hall opens into an ancient Mithraeum. In the faint light, you see a votive figure, eyes fixed on you from across centuries. As you reach out to touch it, you find yourself once again stood in an empty street.

HI Mark Lawton - the tuning forks were custom milled by me out of construction aluminum and each one was tuned by hand with a 5 digit (ancient technology in 1985) frequency counter. If the fork was flat you shaved a tiny bit off the ends with a milling machine, then measured again. If it was sharp, you shaved a bit out of the groove at the bottom of the tines. To do 4 octaves of forks, at 19 (unequal) forks to the octave, took about 5 months. Cheers, Warren

This is very strange music, I've recently been getting into ambient music (normally listening to metal, rock and jazz) and I must say it's been quite an adventure! I love the strangeness and otherworldly feel it gives off, I picture this as the soundtrack for an hour long film of just scenes/landscapes from far off planets: barren, lush with life, and everything between! Thank you sincerely for the upload!
