We actually had that explained earlier (although enough of it was in new character voice lines it's easy to miss). He seems secretive because he really is hiding things all the time - it's just that what he's hiding are his own health issues to avoid worrying patients.

At least the dendro dragon is practically garanteed to be a weekly boss, so we should be save from him showing up in the abyss! (My reasoning is that in the stream they explicitly said we have to play Nahida story quest 2 to meet this boss. And every Archon Story Quest Part 2 so far has introduced a new weekly boss. Zhongli brought Azhdaha & Raiden brought her Puppet. Venti still doesn't have a Story 2 quest.)

I can't believe Wanderer becomes an official Vahumana scholar... Nahida actually managed to convince him to study 😂 (For explaination: At 15:15 we learn that the main events is a competition between the six Darshans and we see the 5 representitives with Vahumana being a mystery for now. In the cutscene Alhaitham introduces the scene as a competition and we see Kaveh, Cyno, Faruzan and Layla. All of which are the representitives for their respective Darshan. So what's Wanderer doing in a competition between Darshans? Only reasonable explaination is if he's the representitive for Vahumana. Wanderer's birthday letter also memtioned that Nahida has been asking him to "visit the Akademiya, to borrow books or attend lectures to immerse in the academic atmosphere" quote)

And additionally, he tried to literally change history by erasing himself from history since he figured he was the cause for why things happened the way they did. Yet it still happened all the same even without him. And Vahumana also studies etiology which is the study of the causes, origins, or reasons behind the way that things are, or the way they function, or it can refer to the causes themselves. So basically... Wanderer studying Vahumana is kinda ironic but surprisingly makes a lot of sense.

When I saw they had the Vahumana scholar as ??? the only thing I thought was "y'all ain't slick, we literally just saw him duking it out with the other scholars who are you trying fool ?"

@dzaki alfarizi I actually started thinking more on this fact. If in game time matches with irl time, that means he’s been in the academia for about 3-4 months, we know this from his birthday message. Considering he’s a representative for his darshan while the others are actual graduates like Cyno and Tighnari, or masters of their craft like Faruzan and Kaveh, it’s pretty impressive that he’s able to be in that position in such a short time.

The Cyno vs Wanderer fight seems interesting but it's probably the inter-darshan showdown or whatever it was called. What I'm more interested in is definitely the interactions between Wanderer and the members of the other darshan. They don't remember who the Wanderer is so it will be interesting to see them talk to the Wanderer and ask him questions and how he'll react. I'm super excited for this even in general and I hope Hoyoverse doesn't mess this one up. It's genuinely a good opportunity to witness character interactions with some very complex characters(Considering some of their personalities this will be interesting).

I wanted to get Kaveh and Baizhu cause I liked their characters, personalities, and their designs but their skills!!! I’m pretty impressed with how useful both of them sound!!! Baizhu can be used as both a healer and a healer, and Kaveh’s ability to pop bloom cores at will is something I really want (it’s actually a fault of some of my team comps that I’d noticed, the lack of being able to make full use of the bloom cores). Can’t wait!!! Also the new area looks incredible, love the idea of having swamp land and potentially finding out a bit more about kenriah. And being able to fly without the time limits of the wanderer (love using wanderer but his energy consumption when flying makes it impossible to enjoy for long) sounds like a lot of fun!

the fact that baizhu being on ur team and picking up herbs can heal your team is so cool and will be so helpful omg i cant wait

Yeah, got a feeling that they might be setting up Venti's to be important, story-wise? Like, we have a trend going on that every archon's second story quest comes with a new weekly boss fight. I love that they cut right to the chase in this one and revealed 3.6 banners literally on the first break wow, and then the artifact sets on the next one, very nice, super short special program, no time wasted, just showed the content haha

Nahida's really taking a active role as Archon. Makes me put her at a higher standard than her Seniors. But to be fair the other are much older than she is and has probably already done all they can.

I mean when you think about it your last point is pretty much it. The previous archons dont really have much going on In their nation that really requires their attention. Any and all major events they had either happened before the game or was during the archon quests. Nahida in contrast is a brand new archon who's nation was under rule of fucked up people who didnt care about anything other than their own agenda ignoring all other issues until recently so really there's alot of work she has to do to fix and address all of it and when you consider how she wants to be a better archon to her people and "prove shes a good worthy archon" as well as always seek more knowledge it makes sense why she's taking such a active position compared to them. Venti is the God of freedom so it makes sense why he wouldn't be active in his role(and if u want a technical stance isn't he being active in his role by letting his people be free?) he's always there when his people needed him the most (think major events in Mondstadts history) Zhongli was always there for his people until recently he protected them alongside the adepti. And now that he sees they don't need his guidance anymore he's taken a step back to live a human life Ei is..a special case tbh but even in her own messed up sense he was trying to protect her people too All of them are way older than Nahida and have been in ruling for a looong time so at the point im our story there isn't much for them to really do meanwhile Sumeru has a ton of things that need looked into and "fixed" so Nahida being active as i said makes sense! Ah sorry for the rant?, this is just something I've though about alot and find interesting!

Baizhu looks really good actually. He's a healer, shielder, and dendro applicator. Really useful

Remember when people were theorising that Baizhu was the secret Dendro Archon before Sumeru released and now we see him and the Dendro Archon in the same livestream.

The theory was that baizhu was rukkhadevatta and that due to his illnes he fled sumeru and left it to nahida. Another theory was that the snake was rukkhadevata in a weakened transmutated form that went to bahizhu for help and thats why he was soo keen of finding a cure/ the secret to immortality

I don't think people were serious about that lol. It's like how people jokingly say that Bennett or Xiangling is the secret pyro archon lol

For me Baizhu always seems to be the kind of person you can tell even things on your heart and he listens. I like snakes. Waiting so long for him makes it very exciting. Kaveh is pretty cool too. Good I already collected Nagadus Emereralds for both of them the last weeks. We also helped one of those dragons once and freed it. I guess this story finally continues. Geart show guys.

I like Monstadt sooo much too! And I would like to see the usage of the areas, which are discovered already! For example, an earthquake can open new underground areas or even crack the mountains, and there can be new treasure and new mysteries and quests.

Mondstadt is supposed to have Dornman Port somehwere which isn't in the game yet, so there's definitely more to Mondstadt than what we've seen. Liyue is bigger too with the village near Fontaine not in-game yet.

Probably when the second half of mondstat comes along. They keep mentioning the other port of mondstat, but haven't updated it yet

As an Architecture Student ive been waiting eagerly for Kaveh since i knew of his existence. I love his Design and Personality, I hope he comes home!

Was hoping to see a VA listed for Changsheng, but I can always read that after the patch hits. The bright side: For the first time there's a banner where I already have one of the featured characters. Not that I mightn't like C1 for Nahida, but characters are far more important to me than constellations. The bad side: I really need to get around to where I can continue the archon questline; I've been holding off on getting to the Wanderer and it's clear this will eventually be a problem. No details on this year's summer off-season yet. No hurries either. (Edit: And it seems I didn't check the time zone on those codes' expiration carefully enough. Oh, well. Happens.)
