I love the implications of Heizou technically having a catalyst but not fighting with it like other catalyst users. Could that mean we get a sword character who fights with daggers, a claymore character who uses a big hammer or a bow character that actually throws knives? If the weapons only give the stats, the actual fighting animations can be a lot more free

Thet would be amazing. We already know Fatui have advanced tech like Flame (cryo) throwers and gunslingers. I love hand to hand combat so I'm stoked about Heizo but for fps lovers, imagine having a bow character that uses a sniper or pistols or any guns!

One thing I notice everyone seems to forget regarding the Sumeru teaser and the statue of the seven is that, out of the original 7, only Barbatos and Rex Lapis remain (now technically only Barbatos), meaning that the Archon depicted by the statue is NOT the current Archon, this will be true for all remaining nations, the statues depict the original Archons, not the current ones

The statues are magic. That much is obvious, so perhaps another ability they have, by being linked to archons is the ability to change when there's a new archon. Or the new archon could just make or commission new ones.

RNGesus is laughing at so many of the people in these replies.... Only reason I have C6 Fischl is because I've been playing since launch. Early on, there were WAY less 4-stars diluting the pool, so Fischl was a very common pull from the regular banner.

Y'all had to be there in person to see the madness of this thing live on Twitch. It's like Grannie had stolen the TV set and rewound at random intervals, sometimes twice or three times in a row, to see what she'd missed. We even got the whole Sumeru teaser cut short due to the stream ending :( I am excited for the patch though :)

2 weeks later and I finally watch the 2.8 program before starting any one the quests. I do have to say that it looks eventful and fun.... all but the co-op part. Hoyoverse.... when we said we liked it we meant just the hide and seek game... not anything else. I'm just gonna throw everything to faith and hope to get through these co-op mode games fast. p.s. OZ IS SO CUTEE!!! If I could have that as irl plushie I would!!!

The random combo of Kazuha, Fischl, Mona, and Xinyan makes me extremely happy. This is probably going to be my favorite update. Also, please tell me they're in the Archon Quest and this isn't an event.

Version 1.7 was the best version for me cuz of the golden apple archipelago and seeing familiar islands again made me nostalgic and happy

Idk what it is about genshin special programs, they’re so canned and cheesy but the bubbly fun and hearing the VA is just nice and cozy. they’re oddly wholesome and innocent presentations and not so rigid that the va don’t sound like they’re having fun

Kazuha is my favorite! His skills makes my game run smoothly... I just don't have a 5 star weapon yet but he is still insane hoping my luck this time. This is a comeback! Mona and Fisch is pretty doing well till now, I didn't expect my Mona has now the most of my damage equipped with sakura's verity is very good to her, and my my dps queeeeen! Fischl so far the best!

Diluc's new outfit gives off a *Fatui Harbinger* vibe, in my opinion this outfit makes him look more cooler than childe. I hope the other harbingers also have cool/badass design like this one 👌

Yeah, it's clearly meant to be representing him using his father's delusion since he's still using Pyro but isn't wearing his Vision as was pointed out in the video. That's probably why it has bonus effects. If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if Childe get a five star outfit which is his delusion activated form from his boss battle. This is likely how they plan to introduce the use of delusions on characters without straight up making dual element using characters, you can get the second outfit and swap between them to get Electro Childe or the other version of any others harbingers we get.

I get a lot a Sherlock Holmes vibes from heizou. Besides not looking too posh and fancy, he kinda lines up. From almost having the same amount of characters in his name, to being a detective, and also able to throw hands, he's got all the bases. At least thats my excuse for pulling for him lol cant wait!

I really want the outfit, but I don't have Diluc *conflicting emotions* The raft event looks so fun, I really love this mechanic as I love the Cargo commission I sometimes get....don't love the dangerous cargo one with a slime balloon as it's really difficult hitting a moving object, more so when the monsters are sabotaging you *thousand yard stare* The event wishes are good I'm definitely pulling for Kazuha and Heizo, Klee is a maybe and Yoimiya is a skip for me. I don't want any more archers. Kazuha story quest hype!!!!

Sumeru at the end looks absolutely beautiful! Can’t wait for the 2.8 banners to come out so I can complete the tiny squad. Also the new outfits look great!

Imma be brutally honest, genshin version trailers and reveals have been falling in quality and there is barely any buildup but the biggest problem has been there is barely any risk or high stakes shown... Look at how they built up inazuma with teaser in 1.5 then 1.6 kazuha talked about his friend and warned us about the journey to inazuma... Now they really just said here is sumeru enjoy

Wow, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! I went ahead and go'ogled the latest by Cynthia Yulesin and my self-confidence has never been higher!

Sumeru looks beautiful and im so excited for the soundtracks but if i dont see a lot of dark skinned characters (and not just npcs) we're gonna have a problem

I get the feeling that Heizou will be like Razor, a strong DPS for those that need them, either because they don't have a main DPS decided yet or just for the fun of it.

Of course I'm gonna cope, my only 5* Supports are Qiqi and Mona. No Non-standard banner ones at all! ): On the other hand, I have found a very unique role for Razor, like I teased with my comment to RA, and the use is being a specialist with dealing with Electro enemies. I may sound crazy, but when he's in burst, he has a flat 80% increase to Electro resist! Have a rainbow team and that 95% Electro resist! This makes him amazing with dealing with enemies who just use Electro or enemies who use electro and have a strong barrier that can be broken with Phys attacks. Hell, if I could find a way to record my game footage, I could show folks of me doing Raiden Weekly and not taking any damage when he's in burst, with his press E also giving 20% ER per sigil I can out pace Raiden's energy drain with just 140%. So this basically makes him amazing at killing enemies that are Electro that have barriers that can be broken with Phys (so not Lectors.) or Electro enemies that can't take their own element. (Rift wolfs, Darn black wolfs!) The best use I've found of this little fact is though, I can live threw Raiden's attack that needs a barrier just by using his burst, no shields needed!
