@Marie Payan nothing quirky about it, that's exactly the case for drug addiction. It's not bravery, it's getting to a point where you realize that whatever chemical you're into is more important to you than your shame. And that's sad. And true. And hilarious because of how true and sad it is.

@Marie Payan I don’t think anyone or at least not most people do hard drugs because it’s “quirky”. Seeing as Katya has struggled with drug addiction and relapse herself, what she has to say about it are her own personal feelings, struggles, romanticizations of drugs she still may have struggled with at the time this video came out, and her own humor to cope with the overall personal hell she’s had to go through. I personally believe when she says “it’s not bravery it’s a lack of shame” she referencing to people being at such low points in their life or feeling so low that they feel they couldn’t possibly feel ashamed anymore. Or they’ve felt so desperate for something to take away a certain troublesome feeling that they just can’t feel ashamed about it anymore so they reach for drugs. But thats just my interpretation.

@Marie Payan i think it's either "i'm hitting a low point and i need something to help me back up" or "i want to try it just for the sake of saying i've tried it, or because my friend tried it". i dont think "i wanna do it because it's quirky and cool haha" is a reason people commonly give.

It’s a little hard to watch this after knowing what went on with Katya later on. At the same time, it’s a good lesson to the public on the life of an addict. That temptation is always gonna be there and there will be high points and low points in that persons life. It’s really good to see her doing well again.

This is one of my favourite episodes. The worst acid / shrooms trip is when you’re convinced you’re going to stay that way forever. I feel as though Trixie has done way more drugs than she lets on. She pretends to be some big prude but goes on to tell wild stories that haven’t even happened to someone with a lengthy drug past.
