This is why garage/car sales people will not buy modded vehicles. Mostly because when they have all this sort of body kit stuff and the like fitted, they are usually beaten to death which is why they have been messed with in the first place. So be aware do not buy modded vehicles and if you have a perfectly decent vehicle then do not mod it.

Body leading.. Tack weld in a preshaped pre-fitted metal strip. Clean and sand your surfaces extremely well. I'm talking medically sanitized. No dirt. No paint. No rust. No nothing. Clean that Sombeech good. S.O.P. grind/cut your metal strip to fit as flush to the body that you can... Any of those flap fingers are gonna fold out anyway. Tack each one as lightly into the body. Grind carefully using a metal polishing sand disk, don't use a regular hard grinding disk. Once you get it as flush that you can. That's where body leading comes in. It's sorta like a combination of copper pipe heat seam weld glazing with Bondo. Make sure you pick up the right leading material first at any welding supply stores. Like; Central Welding Supply. Or Praxxair. You'll need 2 steel putty knifes you'll round off the sharp corners. Couple of Kitchen wooden spoons. Bamboo works & a couple of smooth bamboo wooden spatulas. Obviously your body smoothing tools. Don't heat up the lead too hot or your gonna have a bad day. Avoid making that runny. If you ever done pipe glazing before, it shouldn't be a problem if you've used Bondo too. Take all the necessary fire prevention measures too. This is an old school technic. Heat up the area you'll be applying the lead that's after and once you've heated the lead up too. Timing is key. Heat the surface, then take a blob with a metal putty knife and apply. Quickly smooth with the wooden utensils. There'll be some smoke. It's ok, and expect it. Set up a fan, cause that ain't a good smell and I'm not talking about a fart neither. Take precautions. You might wanna practice first on something around your shop. Once you get the hang of it. You'll never do it any other way again. You can Youtube that process and watch how it's done. Best of luck to ya.
