Damn. This was a sick episode! Australia is such a beautiful country to build up to a massive PPV for the visuals and for the fighters themselves. Good to see Islam's English has improved so much his humour translates over so well and it was so good to see Volk jumping into the Lambo ready to be flown out on a PJ to go and take the Lightweight belt from one of the most feared men in the sport with his team, one big main mission. For both Islam and Volk they have both worked tirelessly to be in this position and it's good to see them both relaxed and enjoying life - this ones going to be fun!

This fight is so good because both men are at their peaks and are putting a lot on the line. Most fighters wouldn't take this fight, that's what makes it so good. May the best man win, and may the loser hold his head high for being there in the first place.

These UFC embedded are always awesome, but they should also use training camp footages when fighters are going hard, and not just last week weight cut workouts. This intro and outro with Volk was perfect: super tough workout, glimpse of the rewards.

But they don't come in contact with people and are not aggressive species. Get this More people are killed a year by horses and cows a year than all of Australias deadliest animals put together.... There also aren't any dangerous land predators in Australia either. So you wanna go hiking you don't gotta worry about a lion, tiger, bear, wolf etc killing you. Relative to other countries in Africa and Asia. Australia isn't too bad.

@Dxb Bred well because they're extremely different climates. Much more tropical up north. You could compare the SW climate to maybe San Diego. The top end is more like.. Indonesia or Columbia or some shit. Australia is a much more varied country than you think.

I remember listening to a UFC Unfiltered podcast around 4-5 years ago and at the time Volk was ranked somewhere around #7 I think, and he was saying he deserved a title shot. I thought to myself that this dude is waaay to high on himself but man Volk has changed my mind, He’s the real deal. The Holloway trilogy was great, I think there’s an argument to be made about Holloway winning the second fight but Volk put a stamp on things in the third fight. Much respect to the FW Champ.

The highlight for 2nd Holloway fight were a couple of knockdowns but he completely outstruck max after those knockdowns
