As much as I enjoyed this channel, it's REALLY important to make it clear that you NEED to wear PPE. Specifically gloves and a respirator when working with resin. Although the effects might not be immediate, resin IS dangerous when unmixed and can cause negative health consequences if used long term or short term, regardless of if it's food safe resin or not. Unmixed resin, whether it's high fume or low fume, still gives off fumes and working with it for long periods of time or repeatedly can cause problems in your lungs (even once or twice has the chance to cause problems) More so than anything else, you HAVE to wear gloves when working with resin. Resin is incredibly sticky when it gets on your skin and heats up as it cures. Even slow curing resin gets warm. This can cause chemical burns at worst and at best it's just really sticky and a pain in the butt to clean up.

This is so strange. Jackie has a chronic illness and yet she's not wearing gloves or a respirator for epoxy resin? Non toxic does not mean not dangerous. They should have both had respirators with organic filter cartridges, nitrile gloves and cross ventilation. Epoxy resin exposure is not joke. It can harm your lungs, skin, and eyes over time. I was looking forward to this collab, but I can't enjoy it. It's irresponsible.

the greatest art collab of all TIME! but seriously, both Jackie's and Moriah's channels encouraged me to try crafting. I used to think I was totally uncreative and incapable of art, that it was something my friends had skill in but not me. I was self-defeating and I was SO WRONG! Jackie's art kit and Moriah's videos about crafting when bored plus both of their encouraging personalities got me to sculpt and paint and try different crafts to find out what I liked best. Doing art was really supportive and helpful to me early this year and now I'm working to never discourage myself from trying something new

When i heard the terms tumblr and resin my heart sank. Really hope you took protection serious with ventilation and respirators. Resin fumes are seriously DANGEROUS. Anyone thats gonna try this, please use a professional respirator. I am 99% sure the non-toxic part refers just to the final result being food-safe.

Loved this video, and the tumblers look so good! Could the plastic cup things that come with the kit be the inside part of a clear tumbler with insert? If it was, you could decorate the outer surface of the inside piece, and it would be protected by the outside clear layer. By the way, I finally got brave enough to try using my Not Another Crap Kit. The pouring of the plaster was an absolute mess, I don't think I mixed it well enough and then it wouldn't go down into the mould. Even so, it turned out pretty good and not too bubbly. It's missing a tiny bit of the top of its head and the top layer of the higher arm, but that just makes it easier to choose what sort of creature I'm going to make (a zombie type creature with exposed brain).
