I've been following Trivium since "Ascendancy" was a new release. I think this is their best release in a long time. Vengeance Falls was what I considered the last great Trivium cd, and this is better than that. If I were to build a Trivium Greatest Hits cd, there would probably be 3 or 4 tracks from "What the Dead Men Say" on it. Certainly more if I was allowed to build a 2cd Greatest Hits. I CAN'T WAIT to see them live again....

Sounds like they listened to lots of 90s megadave. Surely a good influence but nothing original here. I got brain damage from head banging to original thrash metal in the 90s but after couple decades later it's... Been there - done that for me.

I'll be brutaly honest.........i didnt enjoy it...too melodic, way too melodic and......like..i was just bored. I mean, i went back to In Waves and, remember how that album was controversial, and my god was it better then this. You could criticize In waves but at least it was a Metal album....this, i don't know if we can say it's still metal. Yeah there's good bridges and all but....after that it's just melody.... Trivium like what they did, like to play those soungs it's all that matter. But, man i miss the old more heavy or at least balanced Trivium.
