The stock b58 would pass 730 Whp with a stage 2 hpfp, port injection, a biggest turbo and a custom tune.

It was originally not an F1 engine but Le Mans. It just said in 'later F1' it uses this engine. Also, Tuerck mentioned that after he did some drift shots with it, he won't do it anymore due to not compatible for drifting. Now he uses it as Time Attack only as you can see in GridLife

Yup, the F1 V10 era was 16-18.000 rpm. Some privately run F1, F2, GP2, etc. cars did get swapped with this engine for better reliability and lower maintenance cost

The williams bmw team was makeing 950+hp with their v10 before the rule change in f1, so thats probably the most powerful NA race engine ever and you can make 1000-1500hp N/A from big block v8s but they aren't suitable for raceing other then drags obviously.

They used them in the 70s through the 90s as F1 engines but stopped in 92. Tureck uses the Judd GV4 which was developed of LMP1 racing at Le Mans, putting Judd back in the game in 99. Not really an F1 engine but close to one.

I highly doubt this vid is factual for the same reasons! You need soooo much to upkeep a F1 engine and specially ( for the sake of argument) if you put it in a drift car that is on the limiter ALOT! A F1 engine would blow up after like what 3 runs? Maybe not even that 😂😁

It's a long way short of any F1 engine due to the different demands of the races. That said, in the early '90s the rules meant that teams did run actual F1 (derived) engines at LeMans etc. But that basically killed the class dead; directly leading to the LMP era and its more affordable and sensible engines and cars.

The Judd V10 in his Supra isn't technically an F1 V10. While the Judd 4GV isn't that far removed from F1, after being regulated out in the 1997 FIA move to 3 litre V10 engines, the 4GV and it's derivatives were actually designed for Sports Prototype use, seeing action in cars like the Lola T92/10, Pescarolo-Courage C60/01, and others. Still a great engine. The only reason you don't see them too often anymore is because of their questionable reliability and inefficiency compared to more modern engines.

11k rpm? There were F1 engines that revved up to 14k or even more I think. There are Spoon B16 civics that can rev to 12k rpm.

11k rpm to be reliable, the F1 V10's because ther revved to +18k rpms they where unreliable.

If I remember correctly the Honda F 1 v10 revved to 20k rpm, it's probably detuned because 11k rpm is low for an f1 car.

@Zoran Loko Because of how rotary's work, 26Bs are more comparable to a 2 stoke engine than the typical 4 stroke engine. So they aren't actually considered 2.6L engines (besides in static displacement). They're commonly recognised as twice that, i.e a 5.2L engine. But, due to efficiency losses many motorsport bodies multiply their capacity by 1.8~ times, instead of 2. That means the 26B would most commonly be recognised as a 4.7L~ (or for a 13B, it would be considered a 2.3/2.4L engine). The JUDD is 4.0L producing 730hp vs 26B (4.7L~) at 650hp. so whether we're talking power output or noise/volume output, the JUDD is the more impressive engine in regard to their capacities. Don't get me wrong, I adore rotaries. They're personally my favourite engine type, but they aren't the capacity they're often quoted to be.
