It's insane that Vince Carter of all people, somewhone who lived off his athleticism for much of his NBA career, was able to play (and dunk) at NBA level for so long. If injuries had cut his career ten years shorter, it wouldn't have come as a surprise. That man was the epitome of longevity.

@sebustian93 😂😂 dude that glove guarding him shit is a myth. Jordan shot 50 percent while being guarded by Payton in that series. Payton was a great defensive player but it wasn’t even Gary who gave him the most problems. But George Karl n Payton both have said that kemp was better. Payton was hurt in that series . Gary avg less points less rebounds had almost identical in steals . Kemp had more blocks shot better from free throw and the field. Gary had more assists that’s it.. I honestly don’t think u watched that series I’m almost sure u didn’t I call bullshit u watched the last dance that was it just admit it.. if u watched that series who started out guarding jordan in that series?

This is a great video. A few of the dunks I couldn't even remember until now, so this was great to relive these moments. 🙂 Interesting style of video too, this was different seeing someone make a montage going by the age of all athletes instead of year of the dunk. It's great to see how good Kobe, Lebron, and the king of dunks himself, Vince Carter, performed in their late 30s and into their 40s. That last dunk by Vince meant so much too, what a perfect way to end it. 25,000 points for VC, and it was no baby dunkk either. Two hand with power, swung on the rim too. It's the way it needs to be. 🤣 It's the reason why I like the dunkers in this video and love em' as players. I watch basketball cuz it gives me enjoyment, seeing someone get crossed up, seeing someone get dunked on. But dunks always been my thing. I see a fast break with one player, I know usually it's showtime. It annoys me the way some people play when they have a clean drive to the basket and do a gentle flush. I love when someone wants to take off the rim, that shit gets me out my fuckin seat. 🤣 I understand some people come to the game and it's a job for them, they just want to come to the arena, get the win and go home. So I appreciate when people are out there playing with the most passion having fun, they drive to the basket trying to make a statement. They get off the ground and trying to come down with the rim. 🤣

What about Andrew Bogut's dunk over Javale McGee? That's one of my favorite dunks of all time. The crowd reaction for that dunk was the loudest ever and the sound of the dunk was awesome too. A lot of the dunks in this videos highlights package were of defenders not fully ready. However with the Bogut one, Javale had time to set and was staring Bogut down as he came to the ring, but to no avail. The best thing about it too was the back story where Javale had put some stupid instagram post to taunt Bogut about him dreaming of a dunk he did in a previous play off match, only for Bogut to destroy him a few days later with this dunk.

Carter is just the all time nba king of dunks. Dominique Do Wilkins could have been there as well, he got a pretty long carreer for a "dunker". Of course both of them developped other high level skills to stay relevent in the NBA but man, being 40+ and being able to dunk like that is something unreal. And the meme thing wasn't even his fault. Lue didn't call time when he had one to use. That's what JR was getting ready for, but instead he got meme-d on for someone else's mistake. Even as a Warriors fan I get mad about it.

can't hold the tears anymore when seeing Manu and Vince dunking with age 40+, they are just unbelievable!
Vor 3 MonateTae-Yun Lee
Carter at 37 dunking on Gobert like it was a sunday in the park 🤯 Really shows the changes in the league. Carter came up during Shaq, Yao, Mutombo, KG, Duncan, Mourning...and caught most of them

He jumped over Duncan. Tim was standing straight up and merely bowed his head. Vince tea bagged Tim's scalp and went next level. Tim knew not to try to do anything becoz vince coulda gotten hurt. It was one of the sickest dunks i have ever seen and I'm a spurs fan.

Sucks Blake had a lot of injuries but he was always so fun to watch during Lob City Clips
Vor 3 MonateJake Kunz
Man Blake should’ve had so many more great moments… now he’s avg 6 points on an injured nets team. Fr tho Ben Simmons is just a lankier Blake idk why he was ever a point guard.
Vor 2 MonateJake Kunz
@mansonlamps he was 100% better than shawn kemp
Vor 2 Monatesebustian93
@mansonlampsHe was pretty unanimously seen as the third best player in the league that time.. Answer honestly. Who do you think has the higher chance at making in the basketball hall of fame, Blake or Kemp?
Vor 2 Monatemansonlamps
Vor 2 Monatemansonlamps
@sebustian93 it’s a vote by writers. Playoffs is what matters

Age 26, Giannis has to have number 1 when you take time and situation into consideration. Going up 3-2 in the finals needing 1 more win vs a regular season game. Absolutely nasty dunk by Gerald Green and one of the best alley oops of all time, but Giannis has one of the best dunks in NBA history. Top 5 for sure
Vor 3 MonateoHInsane
Carter is just the all time nba king of dunks. Dominique Do Wilkins could have been there as well, he got a pretty long carreer for a "dunker". Of course both of them developped other high level skills to stay relevent in the NBA but man, being 40+ and being able to dunk like that is something unreal. (i don't count LBJ because he's always been considered as an all around player and not just a dunker)
