I called the plot twist on #1 based on previews

The Last Christmas? I saw the word Cardiac Transplant on the plot summary and instantly knew the main guy would be dead the whole time

Like in TATBILB, at the beginning I thought LJ would end up with Josh in the end, but she ended up with Peter which makes me extremely happy, and in the second one, after she broke up with Peter, I thought she would get with John, but she didn't and I'm glad she got back together with Peter in the end

That Last Christmas twist is straight out of the 90's Asian drama playbook.

John Lennon being alive isn’t that much of a shock twist. Yesterday is a film for Beatles fans and it’s easy to work out that Lennon would be alive because he was never famous and therefore Chapman would never have wanted to kill him.

I honestly predicted the twist for Last Christmas halfway through but I was still devastated when it was revealed.

Last Christmas, Tom being dead, a PLOT TWIST? I haven’t even seen the movie and I guessed it from the song and the preview when it first came out.

I'm not sure how anyone could not see the twist coming in Last Christmas. Return to Me did the heart donor storyline far better.

If you didn’t see some of these coming then either, you’re on the slow side, or you’re weren’t paying attention. I thought Last Christmas was very sweet, but I figured it out pretty quickly. I think a lot of people did. still like this movie though.

Definitely, Maybe, 17 Again, Crazy Stupid Love, Love Simon, and The First Time are my favorite “rom-com” movies. Stuck in Love, About Time, and The Space Between Us are my favorite romance drama movies. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is not only my favorite “romance-ish” movie, but it’s simply my favorite movie of all time.

The "plot twist" in Last Christmas was as plain as day just from the TV commercials.

As soon as I realized they were taking the song literally, I went to "I gave you my heart" and was so disappointed in my life choices. Namely watching the movie.

No movie based on a Nicholas Sparks story is a rom-com. As far as that goes someone dying in a movie based on a Nicholas Spark story is not a twist, it is inevitable.

There is a romance aspect to the movie. Unlike Groundhog Day it's not required to break loop but it does affect some of her decisions.

How is John Lennon being alive a plot twist? The whole concept of the movie is the Beatles never existed, therefore they never formed and therefore Lennon was never murdered, so obviously he was alive. I don't get how no one saw that coming.

I didn't consider it to be a big plot twist because I felt it had very little effect on the plot. Jack would have told Ellie he loves her at some point anyway even without John's advice.

I think it’s because no one really thought like that. In the movie you don’t know if it’s the Beatles that don’t exist or the members don’t even exist. It was really cool that they included John Lennon. It wasn’t really a plot twist, just a little extra something.

Yesterday, another twist could be. That Jack doesn’t go back to the same world as before. Where everyone knows the Beatles and they existed. Also I didn’t like how they didn’t explain, how there was another couple who also remembered the Beatles. I didn’t get why they threw that in there.

While the description of a plot twist includes "something that you don't see coming," I'm sure many of us saw some of these coming from the beginning. I swear, WatchMojo needs to think of better titles for the videos, but I'm still addicted to you.

I saw the "twist" in Palm Springs coming a mile away. It's the old standby, "the lie reveal" to push the two apart

Yeah, also, the only reason things changed the main time were coz jk Simmons shot him with an arrow, otherwise, they would’ve hooked up, he starts the day again, she moves on... but the bigger twist as many have pointed out was her sleeping with the sisters fiancé. That’s what she woke up to every time. That got me.

Are any of these plot twists surprising? I mean the whole X was dead all long Or some cases dead to begin with cliche the whole time is/has been done to death It not just 6th sense or last Christmas that did this, (though in some cases somehow they bring him back to life) or X was Z the whole time again has been done to death. After while some of these "Plot twist" becomes a "Oh! No! how could have predicted these plot twists?" (and yes I meant that in a sarcastic way) heck some plot twist become more painful obvious the 2nd time you watch them. Seriously some plot twists as you make them out, aren't really surprising when they have been done to death and then some. Some of these plot twist are a Captain Obvious Reveal trope moment. YOU would be oblivious to be "surpised" by these plot twists MsMojo , The titles to some of these movies are a dead give away, and the trailers gives away sooo many clues that people on social media are able to accurately predict (or be half right/correct) the plot twist months before the movie came out. True some plot twist can be a surprising moment, but it depends on what movie it your talking about. Heck some of these plot twist are sooooo obvious, to the point that that's the only people know about the movie is the plot twist. If I was you I would picked plot twist that one could have guess before the reveal, as you picked some that are obvious and easy to predict.

Also not really a twist but how the guy that kept killing him turned out was having a good day that he loved. When he went to his house he was so happy it was weird thinking he could flip to repeatedly killing him. If it was a bad day I could see it since he had to relive it over and over but relaxing with your family you love it threw me how different he was.

@Brad Paul that the main character slept with her sister's fiance the night before the wedding. They're both good twists that have many setups you can notice on a 2nd viewing.

The Palm Springs plot twist wasn’t even the most shocking of the movie. I was shook when they revealed Sarah hooked up with her sister’s fiancé.

I just watched that this weekend and agree I was expecting the twist on this list to be that Sarah was hooking up with the groom.

And, of course, when he was giving his toast, he kept looking at her. And dancing at her. It was clear he was trying to get her attention and knew what to do. So obvious that he had slept with her before because he knew what to do to get her to notice.

I didn't think it was really a plot twist either. It was obvious he was lying because she's gorgeous; of course he would have hooked up with her.

Please Last Christmas is one of the worst films I've ever seen, it's obvious that the producers didn't do any research in Balkan languages or history, it's just unbelivable, oh and yeah it wasn't obvious that he was dead, because we were all blinded by the only obvious thing : how bad Emilia Clark was acting the whole time.
