@Stacy Dornan its because tims makes their stuff fresh, while all other fast food chains do is throw their frozen food into the microwave and carelessly package the orders. tims may be more expensive, but its because they actually care about their customers and take time to make sure their food is intact, unlike Mcdonalds who js smack the burgers before packaging them and make em' all flat.

As a former Tim’s employee I can say that this Time is one of the best I’ve ever seen and it’s not usually that organized 😂

Tim Hortons, McDonalds and many other fast food restaurants may not have the best food but as someone who has Celiac Disease, I can't tell you how many times I wish I could try some of the items on their menus; bad as they may be. There is almost no decent gluten free options at the majority of these restaurants for people like me.

Bacon grilled cheese melt is my go to. I try to keep myself from eating one along with a caramel iced coffee everyday 😭

I completely understand the fact that it was a slightly underwhelming experience, as a canadian myself I agree it can be not as good as expected, but I do think some of the enjoyment factor comes with the foot being served nice and hot, while (I could be wrong) some of these foods were not fresh and some of the sandwiches were not the ideal temputure. just my opinion, loved the video mark!

This was a year ago but I'm just gonna say it. Tim Hortons is not what it used to be. That "denser" donut feel is exactly what happened... They changed the recipe of stuff so much. Donuts and timbits used to be light fluffy and tasty now I eat them with a very strong impression of biting in a tasteless loaf of bread loll. And yeah, they're slightly better in the morning when they're freshed, but it just... changed, not as good as it used to be.

I'm Canadian and honestly, McCafé really killed Tim's for me. I still like their chocolate/honey glaze donuts/timbits. Don't mind the club. Everything else that isn't coffee, donuts, breakfast stuff and the club, so anything they started making after McCafé showed them competition exists, doesn't really belong there. Chili's okay but it's not exactly a common thing here. It literally exists on their menu because of that and winter. I think asking someone their go-to place for pulled pork is a good judge of character. If they say Tim Hortons and you're not attached, leave.

Tims is a standard. For breakfast sandwiches however, I go for the maple bacon sausage English muffin. Very good. And yes, their chili is delicious and their sandwiches are better than I thought they would be. One thing though I recommend to any Americans visiting Canada - try A&W. I had no idea it was so different than the American A&W, but they are so different. I was actually grossed out when I got A&W in the States, but in Canada, it's probably my favourite fast food place (other than Tm Hortons, which as a Canadian, I'm morally obligated to say).

Last time I had Timmy Hoes, was years ago and it was the best I've ever had. The coffee hit the taste buds with a shock that left you wanting more, the donuts were unbelievably amazing, and their sandwiches were yum, but mostly only walked down the road to it because it was the only breakfast place you could go to, and this was one in upstate NY by Buffalo. It's sad to hear in the comments how it's gone downhill, but I do hope one day to try it again. But I could share Marks feeling of going to eat a bowl of chili and the let down of no spoon is like being given a Christmas present and it be a empty box inside
