GS are so smart! Loved how she protested when "found" lol. I used to hide easter 🥚 w/treats for my GS, not sure which she loved most - treats or hunting. Grateful to spend five days spoiling her before she passed at 15 earlier this year. 😭

@Aria G. Being alone for a few hours is not "isolated"... Dogs are perfectly fine to be by themselves for shorter periods like that, and it's good to train them early that it is okay that people leave because they will come back. Her trying to go everywhere with him is a bad sign of her mental state, the more she can let go, the safer she feels. As long as he plays with her a lot when he's at home and spends time close to her, she'll be just fine. My family had a Leonberger for about 9 years, she was left alone occasionally for a few hours and she was perfectly fine. It all depends on the dog itself and how its brought up. Wish people like you understood that dogs are individuals and they act/behave differently and have varying needs, not all dogs are the same and if they're happy like the one in the video clearly is, then they're clearly doing nothing wrong. If something is wrong with a dog, it will be noticable very quickly.

@wireless one It's pretty much training, to show it's not dangerous, yea, it looks funny but it also serves a purpose. Or are you one of those "I'd buy a safety bubble for my kid" type of parents?
