Can’t forget all the ones that don’t have unique sprites (yet) so they’re just disgusting abominations that somehow manage to be even more disturbing than the custom ones intentionally made to be disturbing

@@baconator_x4098 From what I can infer lurking the Discord, it was just sort of by accident. They noticed people had independently sprited so many Beedrill fusions that it had almost all possible fusions so they teamed up to finish it.

@@khunt5336 It might be a combo of both. Beedrill has great fusion potential (in terms of design) and likely a lot of people's first aces were Beedrill fusions so they want to give him the respect he deserves. Though the latter is still a very unlikely.

@@baconator_x4098 yeah, I think it does come down to it being an early game Pokemon with an interesting color scheme if anything. Other early game mons often lack the same level of visual interest. Since pretty much anyone who can make a sprite can become an artist, it is likely people who got Beedrill fusions made custom sprites to be added to the game.

This game has insane nuzlocke potential. It doesn’t even have to be randomised, every run would be drastically different and there’s always the possibility of losing two Pokémon at once

I have a friend who did some sprite work for this and honestly it’s so cool to see the sheer amount of people working on this.

I haven't done spritework for the game in almost 5 years, back when the game was still a little baby with way less sprites, so seeing that my double Gardevoir fusion sprite was still being used (at the time I submitted it, double fusions weren't even implemented yet) is crazy, it gave me whiplash lmao I reinstalled and played again after watching this and was blown away by the talented artists who've joined the spriting team over the years! My dumb meme fusion feels so out of place now LOL I feel like it needs an update 🤔... On the offchance they kept my other double fusion, fuse 2 Gallades sometime

IcyShrroms. Just want to say thank you for your wonderful Gardevoir designs. I actually did a Gardevoir team run. So I gotta ask. Were you the one that did Gardevoir/Charizard, Aegislash, Chandelure, Reshiram, Volcorona, and Luxray by any chance.

That part at 1:55 where he says “Enter the gym a bit unprepared” and stream Alpharad says “but when has that ever stopped me before.” Is kinda fire editing wise. Don’t know if it was intentional but I like it.

Honestly even without the fusion mechanic this is probably my favorite adaptation of Kanto, it adds some neat story touches like the Celadon sewer dungeon, fixes some things that just don't make sense like the only way out of Cerulean being through someone's house until you get cut and letting you backtrack through Mt Moon from there if you want, and adds some quality of life features like the Silph Co teleporters being color coded.

Oh, definitely. I didn't even find any fusions I'd wanted to keep on my team until after reaching Lavender Town and even I enjoyed the game despite that. It gave such a great glow-up to the stale story of Gen 1.

There is some real joy in just watching people play this game and see different fusions. Also, the "keep wanting to fuse things" problem is very real. It's why my original playthrough never reached the Elite Four because I kept swapping out my team so often and fusing things back and forth that I kept being underleveled for things, and kept getting distracted. Luckily on my second playthrough later on I finished, and my third I'm right before the Elite Four and just taking a break to play other stuff, since it's a challenge run.

I love seeing people cover this fangame, it's so cool being an artist on a project like this, even if only one of many.

I'm always chronically behind on watching things, but I did a few sprites in Infinite Fusion! I initially made them for my own streams, but then submitted them to the game itself. It's always cool seeing people try this game out.

Gardevoir seems to by far have the most custom sprites and it’s genuinely great due to the quality of each. My personal favorite is the Latias Gardevoir combo. Also, you need to try Jigglypuff and Aegislash in a combo.

I literally CANNOT wait until the Johto run. I’ve been binging every bit of infinite fusion content I can find from you Alpha. I agree, it’s a reinvigorating feeling watching/playing this game!

I genuinely love how they implemented fusions into Pokémon, it gives it some strong SMT energy with creating some powerful Pokémon that can fight way above their weight class. I need to get this and do some experimenting of my own

This is standard mode, you can play on modern mode which mixes in later-gen pokemon more generously. I would have loved to see Alpharad tackle Misty's Mantine/Lapras abomination... It's incredibly tanky, can heal, has ice coverage and typing...

I think the best part about this game is when you just catch so much shit to the point that your just mix and matching mons to find the most broken ability and type combos or the coolest custom sprites u can find, truly a gem of Pokémon modding next to emerald rogue for me

Been getting into making fusions for this game because of your streams. None of mine are in the game yet as I've been on this for little more than a week, but I hope people will find enjoyment one way or another with the ones I've made.

Pokemon Infinite Fusion is just getting better and better thanks to all the attention it's getting. New fans means new artists for WAY more custom sprites than when I first played this game last year.

Sweet video, can't wait for part 2. I've been playing this game in hard mode and it is kinda stupid difficult.

I honestly love playing Fusion, and I think this could top any future official Pokémon game. Never have I felt more attached to my team than I do now. Not only does it allow for a completely unique, and type combined team, but anything that you thought just wasn't your type can finally be morphed into something suitable, and cool. Or maybe something needed to look cuter, or a bit derpy, you can do that too. And with all the Legendary based fusions having some sort of reference, it makes Legendary hunting much more enjoyable. It also made me totally rethink what starter to pick. Instead of Charmander, which is my main go to, I picked Bulbasaur. I beat my rival's cheating ass, and as soon as I got Pokéballs and a splicer, I caught a Hoothoot and fused it with my Bulbasaur. And the result was just goofy. I mean, it had a proper sprite, but is INTENTIONALLY silly, just see for yourself. I named this guy Kush, and for a while he was my MVP. Until I caught a wild Mime Jr., and traded a Mankey for a Tyrogue named Tyson. I fused them together, getting a Mimerogue, and named it Stan Lee Did a bit of re-fusing, and unfusing, now my Ivysaur is part Paras, took the Hoothoot from that and fused it with a Meowth I caught. Again, kinda silly, but slightly cooler than Ivyhoot. My Ivyas went from level 20 down to 16 due to the Paras being underdeveloped. Made it to Cerulean city, tried to go north prematurely, got stopped by rival. Managed to absolutely crush his all level 19 team somehow, and proceeded to get my teeth kicked in twice by Misty's level 22 Oddyu. Now double questioning how my rival even beat her, besides his Squirtmeleon. However, combining a type with another it has disadvantages to doesn't always make a fused Pokémon resistant to that secondary type. For example, Charmander has no weakness to grass. But Squirtle does. So I beat the shit out of his level 19 starter with a level 16 Ivyas, which was predispositioned to be weak to most things, especially fire, thanks to Paras. I also got a Beefree that I gave the standard Butterfree moveset, psybeam, sleep powder, poison powder, and stun powder, for the sake of catching more Pokémon and clutching in dire situations.

This is one of the best fan art and creatures I've seen props and claps to the animators

Spriter bias, which makes sense I think there was an aegislash event too which is why lots of aegislash is done

I also absolutely love the Pokemon Adventures manga and I must say, the Gen 3 series are probably my favourite. It's probably the reason I love Gen 3 in general so much. Those manga were how I discovered Pokemon in the first place, and the story adaptation is absolutely phenomenal to me. The character development for Ruby alone in the Ruby/Sapphire manga is some top-tier shit and his relationship with FeeFee showcases it perfectly. I 100% recommend reading them all.

I understand Alpharad’s addiction. The urge to find new Pokémon so you can fuse them to see what they turn into is strong in my ADHD mind. I mean, I know I could just look up the sprites myself, but that’s not as fun.

aegislash has some of the greatest fusions. you should play around with the fusion calculator if you have time, seeing the fusions is really cool

I love how most of these are the best designs you could ask for then you get club penguin out of nowhere. You also missed the chance to call Swoleon "Champeon", though both are good.

I’m actually working on a Pokémon Fan Game with a friend of mine. I’m the story writer and Pokémon idea designer, my friend is the coder. We just need someone experienced with Pokémon balancing and maybe an artist if my friend struggles with spritework

that gardevoir-porygon z fusion is the best thing ever though - seeing that, Miku, big chungus and cub penguin, some of these artists had a lot of fun also togetina is 100% Volo's ideal pokemon

One of my favorite fusions (and my ace for completing kanto) was my Kingler / Aggron combo. He was a total beast (and looks badass as well)

The fact that Alpha keeps insisting on showing us Victreevoir, in both the thumbnail and editing, makes me think there's something he isn't telling us. It's OK man, you can be into that ;)

This game is probably the best pokemon game ever, although it could use some polishing, the two main reasons this game is best is 1. The story is very good 2. The game literally infinitely replayable, even if you dont even play the game, and its really fun just experimenting with the fusions

My favorite fusions are the one by mammuth89, someone who was making really sick custom fusions before, and I was glad to actually use them, especially Anpharos/Charizard

Swoleon should be the actual fighting type Eeveelution. Looking exactly like it does here. And there could be some fun way to get it evolved, such as doing a triathlon of running, cycling and swimming a certain distance during one day with an Eevee equipped, or fighting a certain number of Pokémon battles with it. Doesn't have to be strong opponents, just A LOT of battles, and the more beat up and fainted it gets, the better. Just to give it some sort of exercise-themed evolution mechanism.

I like to think that while Colress was doing research for Team Plasma, he decided to have some fun and distribute duplicates of the DNA Splicers to random trainers around the world just to troll Ghetsis.

Memes aside, Weepinvoir is actually not a bad design. The dress being turned into the pitcher plant is neat

This is the exact reason I did a moderate Nuzlocke for my first-ever playthrough. I needed to limit myself from going into the fusion 4 hours and I actually somehow beat the thing.

I love PIF, my favorite fusions are definitely the Snorlax and Jynx ones, as well as a lot of Gardevoir’s

I played it before and almost anything fused with Beedrill looks awesome

i really wanted to play this game, downloaded it, and it usually won't run for more than 10 minutes before fatally crashing because it won't properly update the sprites (a thing i was told it would do thus wasn't worried about) but damn it still looks so cool

I've never seen a fan game as popular as this one, truly a gift to the community

Unlike other pokemon games, I legit don't want to evolve my pokemon after a certain stage. Shinx + Slugma was just so adorable I couldn't let it change.

The randomized game mode of this game is crazy. I was super sad because I accidentally killed a static legendary, only to find that same legendary fused with a magikarp.

I used Blaziken/Lugia and I agree it's one of the coolest fusions. a bunch of the Lugia fusions go hard actually, Luxray/Lugia is on another level. also the game is super fun when randomised because you get endless possibilities. I cannot recommend this game enough. personally my team was Luxray/Lugia, Vaporeon/Umbreon (dope anglerfish), Milotic/Furret, Reshiram/Gardevoir, Lopunny/Mimikyu (adorable doll), and Togekiss/Articuno.

The best part of this game is it doesn't save the data of the individual Pokémon when you fuse them. Instead, it saves attributes of both Pokémon in the same directory so you can cheese it to move over a Nature or Gender to the other Pokémon. I accidentally made a male Latias and managed to move over the Timid nature from a Pineco to a Jolteon. This game is so easy once you figured out how to cheese it.
