It’s weird how Tak is genuinely unique and a good character in a linear game but with his own show he’s the polar opposite it’s weird and kinda seems like the exact opposite of what it should’ve been

It’s kinda surreal how hard they messed up his personality in the show. The post-trilogy games weren’t groundbreaking (and tbh the Nicktoons games gave him more justice than the mainline ones), but they at least felt like a continuation/extension of his character

The DS versions of Attack Of The Toybots and Globs of Doom are actually decent. The former is a pretty fun beat-em-up with a pretty fun variety of unlockable characters, and the latter is a decent puzzle platformer with some fun boss fights.

I don't think the lack of current tech had anything to do with these games sucking. Heck, Rehydrated was a significant downgrade over the OG game in a number of areas IMO.

I will say in spongebob BBB the speedrun community helped reignite the fanbase for the game bringing it out from obscurity. May not be the sole reason but if the other games see a similar resurgence in demand a remake is much more likely to happen

The thing that always stood out to me about the last game in the series is how Technus translated incredibly well int 3D. Like, he unironically looks so badass in it! And as an adult, he still looks way cooler then he should.

Real talk; these games could have been amazing and I genuinely hope Nickelodeon gives a reboot to these games some thought. Can you imagine an MCU style shared universe of games? Solo games for a bunch of Nick's OG shows, with an Avengers Style full crossover game for a climax.

I guess the real nicktoons crossover saga was the friends we made along the way.

I own all of these games. Even though Unite was very basic it was my favorite. Things got cheaper and more simplified as things went but the concept had incredible potential. Especially Unite, it really captured their unique aspects. Jimmy's science, Timmy's magic, Danny's ghost powers, and Spongebob's antics.

When you think about, Invader Zims town he lives in doesnt even have a name. It may aswell be named HumanLivesHereVil

They could have gone with "Invasion Site". It works as a stand-in for a proper title, and also serves as a refence to another game that had Richard Horvitz as a voice actor: "Destroy All Humans"

Fun Fact in Globs of Doom: If you’re playing with a friend in the Final Battle, Player 1 controls SpongeGlob (Ugh.) and Player 2 controls the Mech that you have to fight in Single Player Mode. The characters have a large amount of health, and it’s honestly pretty boring.

I remember being 8, I sent a letter with a picture called "Nickelodeon and Nintendo and the globs of doom" well, the only Nintendo character was Mario. Then weeks later I get a letter back. It talked about the picture and the one thing I remember is the P.S which said that SpongeBob said that Mario is awesome.

Attack of the Toybots DS was my introduction to Zim so I guess I gotta give this franchise some credit.

Nostalgia makes it hard for me to see this game negatively but I am see where you are coming from. I bought it again last year to see how it held up after I grew up a little bit and it was still enjoyable for me at least.

I wouldn't really call Dib a villain, I'd call him a deranged hero as much as Zim is a terrible villain. They're still really charming and play off of each other in ways that other pairs fail to

I enjoyed the DS version of, Attack of the Toybots. It's a neat little beat em up where the toybot doppelgangers are actually boss fights and not just enemies for a top down shooting segment on the Wii and PS2. The sprite animation and music in the DS release is also pretty good.

The first boss in globs of doom terrified me as a kid and I don’t know why, I always had to make my dad fight him while I stood in the corner waiting.

I always thought the music style and general silence in Nicktoons Unite is just unsettling, in an interesting way. I'm 99.9% sure they didn't intend the game to be scary in any way but it always creeped me out a little bit hearing very quiet, almost ominous music as I slowly ran through an empty hallway wondering when the next enemies would appear. Also every time I was on the menu and I heard that really weird part where it sounds like the song is skipping I thought the game was having trouble loading... you know, trouble loading the menu with almost nothing on it. Logically.

I remember being so hyped for Nicktoons Unite and being stuck on a level like 20 minutes in, but I loved the fact those 4 were together I just kept restarting it so I could keep playing

I love how GIR is the only Zim Character to be in Attack of Toybots, Meaning he got into a Nicktoons Game before his Master did Also, I played Attack of Toybots, Never finished but I did finished Globs of Doom on the Wii

There’s still one game you’re missing, it was on the DS and it had Spongebob, Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner, and Jimmy Neutron.

I grew up with the DS version of Volcano Island, it was one of my favorite childhood games. It wasn't until I was into roms that I found out about the other nicktoons games and even the other versions existed.

They should do another Nicktoons game that is much more higher quality. I'd imagine it being a mixture between Nicktoons Unite and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, with a much larger roster of Nicktoons, new, old, popular and obscure. Glad to see you're back!

Maybe if All Star Brawl does good in sales, then they might reboot or make another sequel to this series.

To be fair, Beautiful Gorgeous and Technis are both great characters. If you ever watch those series, you'll get a pretty good idea what both characters are like.

I love how they couldnt be bothered to get it to be canon accurate with characters model wise. Spongebob is out of water with no water filled helmet on, Zim doesnt have his wig and contacts un to disguise he's an alien in front of multiple humans, gir also doesnt have his costume on. Also why did they give Zim an overbite? It looks like it at least from content shown in the video

It’s explained that Jimmy used an invention to help Spongebob breath outside of water. He also has another invention from the show that helps everyone else breath underwater. As for Zim I guess the other Nicktoons can just easily see through the disguises since they wouldn’t be as dumb as the residents of his world.

Some of these games had amazing music. Globs of Doom's soundtrack is personally my favourite.

Attack of the toy bots on the ds was my childhood. Loved it to death and it was way better than the console versions

I played Volcano Island when I had a PS2 and I loved it so much! Even now, I wouldn’t mind playing it as an actual game (and not just a nostalgia trip).

i think fusionfall deserves to be remembered as the cn version of nicktoons unite, its a shame its no longer a thing, but it was rather good. that aside, i remember nicktoons unite specifically globs of doom. i thought the ending was anticlimactic, but as a kid i didn't really mind.

The DS and GBA versions of these games were actually really good as well. I remember enjoying them more than the 3d ones

I actually love the Family Guy video game. It captures the tone of the show’s fourth and fifth season perfectly.

I remember playing attack of the toybots on the DS- It may be a Berenstein bears thing, but it was a lot better than the console versions shown here. Like, it wasn't a masterpiece or anything, but I distinctly remember playing multiple vehicle levels aside from mech stuff, combat arenas, boss fights, and character teamup abilities where you could mix and match heros for different screen-clearing attacks that generally functioned the same but were still cool at the time. Plus, Zim was a playable character, which I loved. It also had a different ending where Jimmy was actually behind the whole thing, because he wanted to win the game show. Which, y'know, was a little odd.

I still have a ps2 and play volcano island all the time still. My mom got it for me when I was really young and it hasn’t got old for me yet. It’s gotten more enjoyable as I’ve gotten older, since I’m actually good at it now.

I had Globs of Doom as a kid, and my god I remember it looking way better.

Battle for volcano island was my favorite as a kid I’d probably like attack of the toybots just as much if the story mode was co op cause playing with friends is when the fun on these games peak.

I don't care if anyone says that these crossover games like the Nicktoons Unite series sucks. These have the greatest potential I've ever caught in my eye, right before I discover other great crossovers like the Persona Q series. Gameplay wise, it's sorta bad, but when you overcome them, it's worth it. It may be weird to everyone, but I wholeheartedly love crossovers!😆

I just went back to play them all again... And now, I do feel like I was being a little hard on them when I made this comment. I got them a little mixed up, Volcano island was actually great! I was thinking of a different game there. Toybots was also good, but there were some annoying points of it.

I had those as a kid, the first one was cool, volcano island was...alright. Toybots was 2D for whatever reason? And it was really mediocre. And Globs of Doom was honestly better than the console version and was decently fun!
