As a Turk, it pains me to my very core that most Turks have little to no idea who this heroic soldier is. It pains me even more that modern Muslims around the world, including me, are not even at the same level as Fahreddin Pasha. The British gave him the nickname "The tiger of the desert", a fitting name to a hero of Islam. May Allah grant him the highest levels of Jannah.

But in the future, I'll try to read it again insha'Allah. I think the second one is better because it was written by Fahreddin Pasha's brother in arms.

Thank you for this video. I have a soft spot for Fahreddin Paşa, whenever I'm reminded of him I feel really sad and can't help but cry. He defended the city for 72 days, fighting the enemy, thirst and hunger in the middle of the desert only eating grasshoppers. May Allah reward him with the highest place in Jannah.

Fahrettin Pasha resisted until his last breath not to leave the grave of our Prophet to the British and treacherous Bedouins, but his soldiers forced him to surrender to the British. They knocked him out and gave him to the invaders. Because the British threatened to bomb Medina. Allah bless Fahrettin Pasha.

People chose tribalism and sided with the enemy over unity of Islam, what arrogance. May this be a lesson for us all and remember who are reward and forgiveness belongs to.

@Fasi Uddin they were not treated like slaves.. and the printing press was prohibited along the ottoman lands not only arabs. Of course the prohibition was a stupid idea, just like cameras were prohibited in KSA long ago, which was stupid too. Edit: photography was never banned in KSA, I got confused between their national assembly and one of their scholars.

They all meet Allah SWT and will get reward what they did. But now feels like these who rule’s time is up since they spreading Fidnah like opening clubs and oppressing pple and the Shuyuukh. That is the sign of d ying rule.

The attackers of medina weren't from the Saudi Kingdom. It was from the supporters of Shareef Hussein, as said in the video. These are two different groups. The Saudi Kingdom took over the Kingdom of Shareef Hussein after a short while. Hussein was exiled to another place and died shortly after. We can see that not only 'supported' the British Empire Shareef Hussein but they supported also the Saudis'. So Shareef Hussein's 'efforts' for himself were for nothing. He was punished here and will be punished in akhira.
