@Mohamed Ismael but that’s just the passage of time and technology. States provide more services to their people. From education to health to benefits. So want to control who comes to their country. Historically, even in Muslim lands there were tensions because of ethnicity, class and language eg. Problems between Arabs and Berbers in Islamic Spain and North Africa.

I am so glad to hear that he truly despised what he did and knew in his heart the damage he would cause. It's so sad that everyday the goodness of people are used as gamebricks by those who have no goodness at all. The sad truth is that it is still ongoing and won't stop anytime soon, not until our whole man-made civilization falls to the abyss it came from. Earth never needed a civilization, yet we would be nothing without earth.

This has happened many times in the past, the Abbasid overthrowing umayyads, the Mamluks overthrowing Abbasid then ottomons overthrowing Mamluks. However this time when the najdi Saudi Arabs overthrew the ottomons they did not establish a caliphate and they did not allow other Muslim nations to share the holy lands between them. Instead they became puppets of British and France. They abolished the caliphate and because of their treachery allowed France and Britain to make Israel a reality.

For those saying the Arabs never should have rebelled, they forget that at this stage the Ottoman Empire was at a peak in tyranny, corruption and religious ignorance which they allowed to pass to the Arab countries as well (this is the period of time where honor killings became prevalent which is Islamically forbidden). The Arabs definitely had every right to rebel but not while allying with disbelievers and foreign invaders. If you look at Islamic history, whenever an Empire such as the Umayyad or Abbasid weakens and loses its Islamic virtue, another nation rebels and takes its place, but never with the help of disbelievers.
Vor 2 Monatehotaru +21
yes. sadly, this video doesn't mention the ottoman's internal condition or the reason behind the rebellion. At the time, the Ottoman Empire was controlled by young Turks who were liberals within the internal kingdom and in the military, causing chaos, corruption, and changing Islamic law. royal members who still adhere to the religion are suppressed and removed. Sharif Husein knew that then he had the intention to save Mekkah and Madinah from liberal hands. So, even if there had been no rebellion, the ottoman empire would have been divided within the royal government. Yes, there was a war, but the fall of the Ottoman Empire was inevitable. Then, after the war, liberal Turks get their power because they won't create islamic government. Turkey's first government was a liberal group in the Ottoman royal family and military.
Vor 2 MonateHamza Malik +4
Sure but that ended up with Sykes picot and Balfour declarations. An apartheid state was created then and there and we can still see what it is doing to the common Palestinians.
Vor 2 Monatehotaru +3
@Hamza Malik The Balfour declaration created in 1917, didn't connect with the Saud kingdom. Sharif Husein ruled from 1916-1924, and his son ruled from 1924-1925. There is a lie if someone says the Saud kingdom made Palestine belong to Jews.
Vor 2 MonateHamza Malik +5
@hotaru I don't get the point. I never said Saudi Arabia made Israel. But it was created none the less. The Brits did it, while Saudi Arabia was being created. Didn't establish a khilafat because that was part of the "deal". But then again I am not even opposing the creation of KSA. I am just pointing out the horrific and terrible apartheid state that was made by these actions. The state that never stops growing and occupying land of its rightful owners. And I see you mentioned the young turns up there. Yes, they had a pivotal role in the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire.
Vor 2 MonateJustin Wamsley +16
As unfortunate it is, I will give Lawrence of Arabia credit. He did legitimately care about the Arab cause and the Arab people. It was just the government he worked for that was deceptive, deep down he knew that but he was naive to think that maybe with them winning they'd be in a position to negotiate with the British. As a Muslim myself, I will say we should not have rebelled against the Ottomans, however the Ottomans at the time were incredibly racist against anyone who was not Turkish including the Arabs, so there was wrong on that side as well as Iblis was the first racist, and our prophet (saw) said, " All children of Adam are equal in the eyes of Allah. An Arab is not better than a non Arab. A white man is no better than a black man, nor a black man is no better than a white man, except for his piety towards Allah."

I am trying to make sense of this video. It sounds like Lawrence was essentially a British agent who went rogue. His initial mission was to enlist the help of the Arabs to overthrow the Turkish regime, however it sounds like Lawrence “went native” and ended up turning against his own side in the end and taking the side of the Arabs. As a side note, I am pretty sure that the plot of the book and movie Dune owes something to Lawrence’s story. The Arabs = the fremen and Lawrence = Paul Atreides (a foreigner with a messianic complex who goes native).

We fell due to idol worship of the gods of Europe of whom we knew nothing of; following the ways of foreign nations and looking more towards the people of Dunya and their narratives instead of Akhira. Ibn Khaldun said, "Strong men make good times, good times make weak men, weak men make hard times, hard times makes strong men" This is the great fitnah Muhammad SAW warned us about and that it would last for a term appointed, gog and magog ruling over the earth. Colonialism and neocolonialism have been a cancer to the earth and Muslim world and until our hearts are one again for the love of Allah Alone more than the love of the manifest, generations will suffer for an appointed time. When Islam returned from the time of Adam under Muhammad SAW, it was strange; when it left the hearts, it was strange and when it returns it will be strange because it is not of the Dunya, but the rulership over the Dunya. When love of Allah consumes the heart completely over our nafs, Allah will exalt man as viceroy over the earth. When love of our nafs is greater, we destroy our selves as those nations before us by our own tongue and private parts and bellies looking to devour illusion over The Reality of The Truth. None but Allah can purify the hearts of men; none but our own lower desires can corrupt it and bring to ruin. May Allah purify our hearts with virtues, good manners and the best character as an example of what it means to be in Abode of Peace. Guarding your Peace within over chaos without is the real jihad(struggle) that leads to eternal happiness and victory. Then the leaders must reflect the will of the righteous and not the will of the corrupt who devour the wealth of the people in semblance of managing their affairs. It is not the british to blame for the nonbelievers and haters of our religion have always been our enemies, rather it is the naive thinking of the Arab revolters that led to their downfall which caused the whole muslim ummah dearly. God is most frightening in punishment and let him punish the ones who have done injustice towards the pious muslims be it enemy from outside or from the inside of the ummah itself.

@Highway 010 dear brother or sister, there is nothing haraam with trying to clear the reputation of Arabs. The wide spread belief or notion that the Arabs betrayed the Muslim ummah doesn't help to rebuild unity. Prejudice against Arabs only creates enmity. I am revert who became a Muslim in the West and managed to see this first hand. Then I travelled and lived in the Middle East for many years and I realised that actually, there are many devoted Muslims amongst the Arabs and many are oppressed by the current rulers. Remember please that defending those who are absent is also part of Islam. May Allah open your heart to what is best.

I heard about is but it was muddled with other stories. Basically, the Ottoman caliphate was attacked from all sides during that time. So much so that in the end, the Caliphate was dismantled by the Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Laknatullah. And when I dig deeper, there is a faint possibility that the first World War was designed to take down Ottoman caliphate.

Great video. Here is what I don't get though, how is Saud family related to all of this because Sharif Hussein was totally from another tribe and in fact the Sauds took Hijaz away from him at a later stage and there is no evidence that they participated in these attacks. I know that some tribes of Hijaz area supported Sharif but not the Sauds. Another question is how do some people manage to bring in Mohammad ibn AbdulWahhab in this picture and say that he betrayed the Ottomans to the English?? Makes no sense at all

How did Lawrence marketed OneLaw/Religion for all based on ROMAN LAW/RELIGION straight-jacket to Jumping-Jacks: "the recent reform of the constitution in Costantinople (i.e. the revolution) is entirely due to the American mission." They have so educated the country (without touching the politics) that public opinion rejoiced in reform. They have colleges all over Syria, and Asia Minor, and in Constantinople (mostly self-supporting) and in all of them the religious side is emphasised: also every school is a mission station'. The Mamluk Caliphate and Salahaldin saved the Muslim world, We remember the Ottomans were racist prejudice on all of al Hijaz and Najd, they left Makkah to bandits and thieves, no one could go to Hajj safely, not even our Sheikh Mijrin ibn Zamil who was beheaded because the Ottomans let the Portuguese sail freely around the south and colonise their hearts content. حسبنا الله و نعم الوكيل Muhammad ibn Iyas a mamluk scholar wrote about it all, he's an eye witness of the Ottomans siege of Cairo and wrote the atrocities that happened in the southern coasts of Arabia. From the beginning to the end of Ottomans plagued the south of Arabia, We haven't forgotten why the revolt happened or the atrocities against the people of Medina. Some outside power is going to come in and give you what you want as you wish... This repeats itself again and again in the middle east some how. No one learned a lesson from the Lawrence of Arabia.

As a Turk I can say that this was all a plan to get rid of the Ottoman Empire. The rostchild had offered the world to the Turks but they never gave any land to Jews in Jerusalem. CORRECTION: There has never been a UNITED Muslim ummah in a certain time of history. The Muslims were killing each other from the 1st day of Islam and there were dynasties overthrowing each others by the help of the other Muslim dynasties or with the help of the non Muslim empires. Lawrence of Arabia helped the Middle Easterners to revolt against the new nationalist TURKEY ( A.KA. Young Turks). The fall of the Ottoman Empire has to do with its defeat in WWI
