Reading the closure statement on the website was also hilarious. "We have still, miraculously, not broken any laws by promising you untold riches in return for sending us money. We’re also not closing down because you all kept sending us actual seeds, even though we explicitly told you not to. We’re closing because multiple people sent us sperm through the mail. And when someone sends you jizz through the mail, it’s time to stop whatever you’re doing."

When my grandmother died, we began getting threatening collection calls. They were saying my grandmother was not paying her $1000 a month pledge. We learned she had given her life savings to these clowns, and we also owed thousands to the old folks home and hospital and funeral expenses. This 100 year old woman was not competent at the time, but we never recovered a cent of the $200,000 that this criminal trash had stolen.

@The Official Jay Vicious No, you assumed a bunch of things that were not true. She was living with us, we were taking care of her because no one else could afford to. We bought her a place, and I lived with her, and took care of her, a big job for a 12 year old. I wasn't complaining of her generosity, I was complaining of the ministry sending lawsuits and harrasing lawyer calls, trying to collect from "her estate".
Vor 19 Tage
The Official Jay Vicious
Hank hearing what you said about your grandmother passing away first I want to say sorry about your loss but it kind of seemed disingenuous and a little offputting that you were mad that she was giving $1000 a month pledge to the church and that because she donated her savings that as you said none of you got any of the $200,000 to which I say why was your grandmother living alone giving away money if she wasn’t in her right mind and if she lived in the home shame on you guys for putting her there and you think you deserved any of her money because that was some thing that you needed to remember her just remember the memories. But the fact you seem upset that she donated money to the church when she wasn’t well and you think that it’s robbery she clearly could’ve left you or other children money but chose not to as I said in the first part if she was in a nursing home then I don’t think you deserve anything you should’ve had your grandmother at your house but no you wanted her to be locked up in to get her money when she dies people are sick

They misuse the bible to make false promises to exploit sick and poor christians in need! This is serious fraud and a shame for christianity and the name of Jesus! In my sight they are like parasites on the body of christ. All the bibleverses they misuse from the new testament to build their false "donation-seed-faith", their false "give-to-receive"-teaching (Mt. 7,2, Lk. 6,38, Mk. 4,24-25, Mt. 13,8, Mt. 13,23, Mt. 19,29, Mk. 4,8, Mk. 4,20, Mk. 10,29-30, Lk. 8,8), all these verses have nothing to do with donating money to pastors or churches in order to receive something from God! There is 1 verse in the new testament that says something in this direction: 2 Cor. 9:6 - but as you can see in verse 9, it is about supporting poor (Christians). And its also illegal to use the old testament promises on tithing, because tithing was old covenant (Jews) only, in the whole new testament tithing is not mentioned once as a duty to christians. And what they don't want you to know is, that in the old covenant it was not possible to tithe money, only animals that were born on the land of israel and food that grew on the land of israel - fishermen did tithe nothing! Servicemen did not tithe anything either! And they did not have to tithe money instead. Christians did not receive any tithes for serveral hunderd years after Jesus. But then the catholic church adapted tithing from the old testament in the 7th century in order to financially stabilize their new form of monologue-type church, when it were originally just personal meetings at peoples homes. One of the oldest and deepest problems of christianity is, that many people want to live off the faith, to earn their money with it. This always brings negative consequences. For this reason, to be independant, Paul worked as a tentmaker. But as christians it is also not our call to produce or attend some kind of monologue spiritual entertainment. Our call is to believe and trust in Jesus, yes, and to live in mutual love with our christian friends (1 John 3,23), being there for one another (Gal. 6,2), entering more and more a satisfying life of togetherness (Phil. 2,1-4), and in this life of love together God will give real gifts to the people to mutually serve each other even better (Eph. 4,16, 1 Cor. 12,31, 1 Cor. 14,26).

My grandmother had Alzheimer's and after it was obvious it was getting worse the whole family went for a visit to grandma's. My mom and her sister had the uncomfortable conversation about her not living alone anymore. While we were there they discovered that she had lost thousands on a crap-ton of things like over 100 magazine subscriptions, many of which had as many as half a dozen copies of the same magazine. She had also lost a ton on donations to some preacher who they later discovered had promised to cure my grandmother with prayer, a tactic which worked because my grandmother apparently knew she was getting worse and was desperate to get help. Anyway, they quickly realized that many of these people knew full well that my grandmother had dementia when they took advantage of her. But the really crazy part was when my mom was on the phone with somebody from the preacher. She was canceling the monthly "donations" when she suddenly gasped and started crying. I was too young at the time to know what was happening, just that my mom was crying when my dad went over and talked to her. Then suddenly he was angrier than I'd ever seen him, grabbed the phone, and unleashed a torrent of profanity that was positively shocking. Years later I heard from my mom that when she tried canceling the payments the preacher or their representative had told her that if she did god would punish her with the same disease and that she "wouldn't even recognize her kids." When she told my dad he went absolutely apeshit on that person, to the point where they tried to file a police complaint after my dad threatened to track them down and do some things to them that were...anatomically unlikely.

They're more like snapping turtles; a deceitful tongue that lure in their prey with the promise of much needed resources, only to snap and devour them instead. • Jesus is the foundation of the church. Following and knowing Jesus is the only way to know God. • No church is a church without Jesus. A church must preach/teach Jesus' word, create fellowship and help its members get closer to God. This must be the main objective of a church. • A church that does not do these things as a priority, and in the name of Jesus is not church at all. • A church is not a business, and its leaders should not strive to maximise the money in their pockets.

...AFTER DEATH...WHAT??? You know we’re just passing through this world to get to The next, whether it be Heaven or Hell. “YES!” There is a Hell!!! Most people do not want to know this BUT IT’S TRUE. Like it or not, there is a HELL! And “YOU” make the choice. You may think to yourself: I’ve never hurt anyone. I am no different than anyone else. I do good things for people. Heaven and Hell are on Earth. “Nice try!” I’ve heard them all! But the bible says “THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN! But there are many ways that lead to HELL! Oh, and yes! You can try to say that no one ever warned you about Hell, BUT YOU HAVE JUST BEEN WARNED WHEN YOU READ THIS AND NOW YOU ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. Now it’s too late to act dumb. You will be held responsible for knowing this and for being warned about Hell!! WE ARE ALL SINNERS….sin is anything that separates us from God. The bible tells us that any form of idolatry, witchcraft, murder or murderous thoughts, stealing, lying, adultery (sex outside of marriage), same sex marriage, hatred, unforgiveness, etc…. are all sin. God has seen every sin we have ever committed. Yes, EVERY sin. You Must accept Jesus Christ for your sins or else... HELL!! I know you may not like it, but it’s true. You ask yourself, “How do I stay out of Hell? THIS and ONLY this...! Admit that you are a sinner because we all are. Every one of us. Be willing to turn from sin and REPENT. Believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead as the ONLY atonement. He took your punishment for your sins. Through prayer invite Jesus Christ into your life ....Please don’t go to Hell. You won’t like it. You can’t just try it for a weekend...ITS FOREVER! You are not promised another day on Earth. Tomorrow might be too late. And it’s up to you which one you’ll choose. I tell you this not because it’s my law, but because it’s God’s law and it’s that simple. Sorry there’s no sugar coating this! “But” the truth will set you free. I’m not asking you to go to my church or give me one thin dime, I’m just asking you to turn to .. Jesus

They weren't blaspheming, they were just being far too extortionate to pilgrims to be aiding and respecting the practice of pilgrimage and extension the laws in general. @Steve1.I worship my God because he showed his love for me even before I was born and continues to do so even today. 2.God doesn't send people to Hell, they send themselves even tho God has given them a way to eternal life. God is righteous in all his ways but he is also a God of judgment and will not allow sin in his presence. 3.There are many religions that claim Christianity as their foundation but are easily proven to be false because Christ neither discriminated against nor did he do violence to those who chose not to follow. 4.I think for myself everyday and try to live as Christ taught tho I fail regularly. I support my church as long as we're in accordance with our faith.

@Kano Reese I appreciate that you personally don't judge people or want them to go to hell, but keep in mind a) you worship a guy who (supposedly) sends people who don't worship or believe in him to hell, and b) your part of a religion that has a looong history of discrimination and violence. Just something to think about. You can believe in whatever you want, but I'd encourage you to think for yourself rather than be part of that. You can still believe in God or have any beliefs you want without supporting organized religion

I was born with a high iq and many neurosis! Hehe. Maybe that is why I could see the hypocrisy for what it was. Also you’d be floored that the majority of Christians don’t know that their religion is just bastardized from other older religions. There are actual Christians out there that do follow christs teachings. They are just not that plentiful in evangelical religions that are nothing but hellfire and brimstone

Well this story hits home, my dad started following an evangelist and instead of receiving treatment for his prostate cancer he went to one of this guy's services and had him place his "healing hands" on him for a cure. With medical treatment he had a 90% chance of living but you can guess how far prayer got him, it got him buried. I'm still furious about it 7 years later.

I’ll talk to Christians that actually defend televangelists, “nothing wrong with being blessed!” And I’m like, well what about the fact that the Bible frowns on the rich? And they’ll be like “wellllll….” It’s like, no! There’s no “well…” about it. It’s not up for debate. The Bible frowns on the rich…excuse me for not recalling the exact verse, as it’s been years since I was an active church goer, but I know for a fact it’s in there. Cherry picking at its finest….

We bought her a place, and I lived with her, and took care of her, a big job for a 12 year old. I wasn't complaining of her generosity, I was complaining of the ministry sending lawsuits and harrasing lawyer calls, trying to collect from "her estate".
Vor 19 TageThe Official Jay Vicious

Jesus

Less so, even. The money changers were performing an essential service. Visitors to the temple gotta eat. They weren't blaspheming, they were just being far too extortionate to pilgrims to be aiding and respecting the practice of pilgrimage and extension the laws in general. There's places in the Bible where Yhwh gets pissed at somebody misrepresenting the degree to which they are his agents. It goes a little rougher than a mess and a lost day's wages.
Vor 8 TageKano Reese
Vor 10 TageSteve
@Kano Reese I appreciate that you personally don't judge people or want them to go to hell, but keep in mind a) you worship a guy who (supposedly) sends people who don't worship or believe in him to hell, and b) your part of a religion that has a looong history of discrimination and violence. Just something to think about. You can believe in whatever you want, but I'd encourage you to think for yourself rather than be part of that. You can still believe in God or have any beliefs you want without supporting organized religion

I grew up Assembly of God then southern Baptist. At about 12 I happened upon a book in my library about paganism/heathenism. It suddenly hit home and that’s what I’ve believed ever since. My evil egg donor used to watch the 700 club all damned day and donate to these monsters! You would be shocked just how gullible the people in the Deep South can be. Me? I was born with a high iq and many neurosis! Hehe. Maybe that is why I could see the hypocrisy for what it was. Also you’d be floored that the majority of Christians don’t know that their religion is just bastardized from other older religions.
