What a beautiful sound! Such unique colors and feelings. Wonderful piece, wonderful composer, wonderful musicians playing. This is literally breathtaking.

Hypnotiquement belle !!!! Immédiatement accessible et transparente. Sons étonnamment contemporain contrairement à la rudesse agressive de beaucoup de musiques d’aujourd’hui exagérément lénifiantes ou inutilement brutales, empreintes d’une vacuité dont rien n’approche.

@SY L I agree. If it is just he was paid, it would not be as beautifup as this. He gave more than what is paid for him to compose. He gave his idea of what is beautiful experience (both ups and downs) through these sounds.

Well, you can be sure that this work was commissioned, paid for, and the composer, after the fact of the pay for the commision [should] continues get royalties for each and every recording and record sale. All of the musicians are paid, and the orchestra and soloist get residuals from the royalties from additional record sales and air plays as well. Other than that, yeah, they have all 'gifted' us with the splendors of their talents and a lifetime of hard work as professionals, lol. You don't expect composers or performers of this caliber to have some 'other' day job, I hope.

What a burn! Imagine being compared to film music! Wow, that's such a bad thing to be compared to. Zing! Wow, as a composer I'd hate to be put in the same boat as film composers like Korngold, John Williams, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Miklós Rózsa, Bernard Hermann, Ennio Morricone, and those... film composers. Yuck. What horrible people those must be. May I congratulate you on your incredibly intellectual tastes, my liege?
