The moon unit proply will need tiles for heat on reentry any thing metal would melt so it would be a internally lift that can be opened after landing the compression of the air at high speed makes heat so it would have to be protected before entering the earth at the least .

Wondering if the vent from the stack just prior to SF is to clear the lines between the tank farm and the rocket, perhaps as a precaution to stop an explosion flashing back up the lines to the tank farm?

I suspected that SpaceX had to change its procedures since they are pressurizing the tanks with Helium, and the past two weeks has me more and more convinced by that. Regardless, what they showed here was that they have it fixed until they can solve how to pressurize the tanks using the Gaseous Methane again.

Isn't the helium just for the header tanks?

You can fart longer but this rocket can stop igniting itself; if you tried it would backfire and blow your ass out your own hole.

That's a very complicated topic. Nasa is a government organisation. Everytime a new leader takes over, their plans are all reconsidered. Their funding has been cut tremendously. And SpaceX managed to stay afloat in 2008 after their 4th Successful flight in 2008 for reaching orbit in which Nasa gave them a contract worth 1.5 Billion. Nasa did save SpaceX and if it wasn't for them, we won't have SpaceX right now.

Elon/SpaceX wouldn't be where they are without NASA's help.
