To me, it looks like the ending scenes were a bit rushed. It would have been good to see Hopper farewell to Enzo and Yuri. Also his return to Hawkins seemed rushed somehow, we didn't see the reaction of any of the characters when he arrives except for 11, and considering everyone thought he was dead that's pretty strange. We didn't see anyone of the main characters mourning for Eddie except Dustin, and we didn't see any more Dr. Owens.

I felt like Eddie was being protective of Dustin when he cut the rope (of bedsheets) bc he knew Dustin would attempt to come back for him. Also, Eddie said he was “buying more time” for the rest of the crew. But I’ll admit, when he stopped climbing the rope and took that moment to pause & look back…I shouted “Go!” Like why would you stop or waste ANY time when you’re being chased by demobats!? Lol now I know why, but it shocked me at the time 🫢. RIP Eddie Munson

When Steve was talking to Robin while watching everyone playing it reminded me of the Ka-Shume the Tet was feeling before taking down the Breakers. Doubt it’s coincidence that Eddie died the next day in both given the influence Stephen King has over the show.

They may fight to clear his name in s5

Eddie's character was written so beautifully, many are upset that he will never be recognised as a hero but that's for me what makes him even more of a hero, a hero does not seek recognition people may hate him or love him but he'll still do what is right.

His death and character build up was done beautifully. So far the whole series has high rewatchability. After being burned by Game of Thrones being rushed to an end cause D&D was bored and horrible writers I really hope the duff brothers can end this series right.

This season cheapened death to the point where I hardly even consider him dead. First with Hopper coming back and then with so many others looking like they were on the brink of death at the end only to be saved at some capacity last second. If he came back or any past characters next season it wouldn't be surprising with Eleven's new ability.

Why does everyone forget that Brenner said that he “consumes” people? It seems pretty clear that he still has the memories and people inside him and if Vecna killed Max then Vecna has her memories and mind

@EditingLily Or hes in Max and they have to get him out like they did will, I think that's why the Gates opened up at the very end. I dont think they woupdve had her pass right at the end to confirm the gate hes in her that's why el cant find her (I think)

I think she will come out of the coma once they defeat Vecna. Will be one of the reuniting scenes at the end of the show.

@Erica Rodriguez There's also big possibility that the reason why there's water there is because Max died and her brain went on to become too damaged to even sustain her memories and she only has few recollection of those gifted by Eleven and Vecna has rest and there's also possibility that Max is still there inside but she is in a state where she's unreachable. I don't think if Max was in hold by Vecna killing him would release him, because he brought her to his clock building where she saw vines many of them were dead however. If she's alive there, then the only way to free her is to actually get to her which is i think hardly possible without lack of location from Vecna as the place doesn't seem like home of Creel but something strange and different.

I think max will make her return in the finale episode. She will most likely remain in a coma in season 5. I think once El kills Vecna it will release Max from his hold and she will wake up...but blind. I personally think we are going to lose Will and Eleven at the end of season 5 though :( it started with them and it will end with them. Full circle.

I think the other “sister” eleven met up with in the previous season that also has powers will probably come into play for this battle against Vecna. El is powerful but this is beyond JUST her at this point.

Number 8 makes no sense, as she's the only test subject with powers that differ from Henry's. She was also wearing normal clothes at Hawkins instead of a gown. She's a plot hole.

Omg perfect theory! I thought about her too , because the way they met up & then eleven left in a haste , it gave me vibes that they’ll meet up again but this time , I think they’ll come into contact with more like them . . I’ve been thinking for awhile now , that it cannot just be Eleven saving the world & she technically got help this time from hopper in Australia , to me what I’ve been getting at, is that it’s gonna take either a whole town or a few more people to help stop vecna this time . . I do not think she would’ve stopped him as quick as she did , if they didn’t burn & behead the mind flayer . . So I hope they bring her “ sis “back so she can help because they’ll become unstoppable if they work together & with the help of friends at the same time , can’t wait to see what season 5 has in store

If Vecna can take someone else's mind and stuff, then El must be able to do the same and also the opposite, as she broght Max's body back to life. I agree. At this point we all know Eleven alone can't fight him since Vecna himself doesn't fight on his own. It's gonne be super weird if they don't bring 8 back. I was thinking that maybe they didn't show her in s4 cause she was doing her own business hunting the ones that once took part in the project but she definitely should come back for s5.

Brenner trying to carry 11 to safety and being unable and then her standing on her own two feet and taking a plane down both literally and metaphorically sent the message that she can fly on her own unlike what Brenner said. It’s even more poignant that she takes down something that can fly.

He wasn’t one of the main characters unlike in the past seasons and I feel like season 4 was his upbringing season since he wasn’t as active compared to other characters. Noah Schnapp gets only a few scenes, and he's still the stand-out for me. He's such a talent. Can't wait to see him do other projects.

@Come al solito it’s been hinted at throughout the entire series that Will is gay. In season 1 someone refers to him as the f word gay slur as a back-handed insult and his mom also describes as being different and unlike other kids, as she kind of had the inclination he was gay. Then there was the season 3 conversation with Mike about it things not being his fault because Will didn’t like girls... and then he caught himself. It’s worth exploring because it’s not an illogical leap to think that Will has feeling for Mike after how close they have been to one another all of their lives. They’ve been friends since they were in early elementary school. Also Mike has always been the prominent leader, so of course he’d most likely be found attractive by Will. It’s adds complexity to the relationship of the 3 characters in this love triangle... even if it seems to make you squeamish

​@Franky J Rod Nah, they just fucked him up this time. He was one of the key which why this series was so good and the only two good things he did in 9 episode were the ones you quoted, period. They assassinated him just like Jonathan, regardless their brief emotional moment at the end. Also, the hint at his gay feelings for Mike, really!? Hope they don't develop on that, it's unnecessary. Let's have the guy at least his friendship with Mike and El as good as it is without jealousy or other cringy stuff that no one want to see, we already got unnecessary romances that ruins scenes, stop please.

@swizzychicken not at all. If he was wasted, then so many other members of the cast were discarded. Just because he didn’t physically pick up a bat or Molotov cocktail or spiky shield, doesn’t mean he was wasted. He is the one who helped Mike realized his purpose in the group as their leader and heart of the group. Will has always proved to be a symbol of hope when our group was at their lowest point and has always given others the motivation to muster up the courage to take action. Additionally, he had a phenomenal emotional character arc this season. So many emotional beats and he also helped prevent Johnathan’s character assassination this season. Will was great this season and will have a more physical role, as you wish, next season.

I have a feeling that it will all come down to Will and Eleven in the very end. It began with Will, it's going to end with him. Whether he becomes the next bad guy in the end, or... I don't know...

@Franky J Rod I assume it was maybe something from one of the officers or wardens office. Someone grabbed it when attempting to fight off the escaped demogorgons and dropped it when he died in the courtyard. Maybe it was a trophy given by some Russian official?

Check out my comment on here with my small theory about what is gonna happen in season 5!!! Will is a main character in my theory a big part of my theory is that in season 5 will is going somehow be given powers or find out somehow that he has powers like El and Henry it would put so much more into his character since he’s really not used that much or even have many lines since after season 2

Max is in a coma but not dead. Vecna/001 technically “killed” her, but eleven somehow saves her. Eleven then goes into Max’s mind but can’t find her. Remember in the massacre scene 001 told eleven that thei as in the kids are not dead but still in his head. Papa also mentions how he consumes the people he kills. My theory is that Max is in his head and since her body is still intact she can be saved but the others cant.

@Shroomjak Not really however the real explaination is that Max conciousness is inside Vecna that gives an inside to him how Eleven throughout the years developed and works. However Eleven used her power of telekinesis to move the muscle of heart restarting her heart therefore bringing her back alive, but since her conciousness is not there. She might not wake up until Eleven penetrates mind of 001 and somehow liberates the people that he has attached to himself only that's how they will bring Max but there could be ultimate price for that infiltration. For Eleven to do that, she needs to try and fight him inside his mind while his friends weaken him in physical form unless she discovers a power that can bring other people into his mind too then they all can fight him there. Destroying him from Inside, just how Vecna did to others and discovered himself this season was ultimately about Eleven discovering possibilities of her power and that she's the opposite of One being the force of light happiness and love while One is more of a destruction anger and rule, Vecna used the strength of 4 people to open up the portal to the entire world, so the only way to stop it is logically to bring max back into real world. Stripping him of the 4th but this time they would need to cripple him inside or logically replicate the technology Dr.Brenner did where he injected him a "anti-power alike tech" into neck but they would need to use smth of sniper rifle and the tech inside bullet or smth.

I feel like the situation with Max and Vecna could play out like some Harry Potter stuff. Like how Voldemort indirectly latached onto Harry to survive

El turned back that 1 minute of time to before Max's heart stopped beating. She reversed time. Just like Henry could do.

I straight balled my eyes out when Eddie died and when Lucas cried as he held Max. I'm glad that Mike finally told El that he loved her because with everything she's gone through in her life she really needs to hear it from someone who really means it. I was so glad that El reunited with her dad that was a great vibe.

I mean, it kinda was forced bc the situation was dire. It wasn’t the typical heart to heart scenario but they were under extreme circumstances & Jonathan was in tune to his brother’s feelings so he took that opportunity to address his concerns & offer support in his time of need. He was clearly scared and isolated, wanting someone to comfort and protect him, too. Poor guy

I think Max's mind being empty at the end was a sign of what they've been saying all season, that he basically absorbs his victims, and like the others Max ended up being absorbed into his being and is basically gone. until they finally kill his ass in season 5 which will probably return Max's consciousness to her. or at least that's what I hope ends up happening. I genuinely can't stand that they faked us out like that just end up killing her anyway. AND EDDIE. they weren't even able to prove he was innocent.

Well, Max is in a comatose state, so that could possibly explain why her mind was empty when Eleven tried to reach her, as your mind at that point, is essentially non functional while in a coma. Then again though, that is a great theory which might be a reality in season 5. They had multiple instances where they could’ve killed her but the Duffers kept her alive for a reason and I’m excited to see why in season 5!

I really didn't think Eddie would die like that. And the earthquake scene was 10/10 💯

I love this theory and i agree with it. I mean think about it, vecna marked will which is why he can always feel him. Will knows how he thinks and what he can do, so maybe will needs to die so his connection to the world can be gone for good.

So maybe Will doesn't come out as a villain but as some sort of contrapoint idk... And also I think El's gonna sacrifice herself in the end of s5, like, she "started it" now she's gotta end it.

for max’s scene in the snowball, i thought it was a pretty interesting choice that they chose the song “every breath you take” because in the scene, the lyrics go, “every move you make, every bond you break, every step you take, ill be watching you” which implies that vecna can be watching her anywhere and anytime.

I noticed that too, and I loved the blood-filled balloons popping, gave me “It” vibes.

When Vecna “killed” Max, he stole her mind as well as her memories. Now how did she get back? Well, I think that Eleven entered her mind after it was emptied by Vecna and refilled it with memories that she shared with her. This is why the scene where El goes back and sees Max’s past is shown. That scene is shown so that Eleven can hold more of max’s “important” memories which also make up her identity. By having those identity-making memories of Max, I assume Eleven was able to revive her memories, then mind and ultimately Max herself in the upside down — then the Coma in the real word. That’s my theory, and I think it is very much foreshadowed.

Thats a good theory but why couldnt she see anything in max's mind when she jumped in while being in the coma? What im thinking is that since lucas said her heart stopped and that she died for over a minute and came back, eleven probably restarted her heart in some way. You cant revive someone with memories, but you can if make their heart beat.

Unconscious Max will be kryptonite for Vecna - he already killed her so he can't kill her again - and she's not dead so his fourth gate is unstable. You heard it here first :)

I’m honestly low key bummed they didn’t kill Max. Her “Death Scene” in the last episode was so powerful and I choked up and cried…but then to see her in a coma a minute later…it kinda took away from the emotional impact of the prior scene. Killing off a fan favorite character who fought so hard all season would have been a risky, but applauded move in my eyes. Sadie is a phenomenal actress so I get why they want to keep her around. But, they need to actually commit to a characters death if they are gonna portray one.

Dont you think that makes her being alive all more important tho? She was the 4th gate and 4th kill vecna needed. Shes the one that triggered everything with her death. But since we now know she ended up coming back its possible that Vecna wont be able to go through with his plan properly

@Tanisha M Browne Hopper had a pretty damn significant role in the plot of this season tho. If he died we wouldn't have the Russia plot point so they most definitely intended for him to survive in the first place

I loved that scene in the end when everyone, even though they aren’t together, are attacking the bad guys simultaneously. It beautifully shows that the group ALSO ACT AS A HIVE weakening Vecna while Eleven takes him down.

vol. 2 was crazy. i cried half the time. the last episode with eddie at the end, i was crying..so much. he was my favorite character. and max, when i thought she died..i was in tears.

I said earlier when volume 1 was released to myself that they would never kill a main character that lasted more than one season after that scene with max in Dear, Billy, but you know with max breaking her bones and going blind I was in pure disbelief, since it was just so sudden, I couldn't cry during it though as a few hours ago easily my favorite YouTuber, the only YouTuber I've ever bought merch for, technoblade died of cancer specifically sarcoma, so I was all out of tears.

I'm not sure if I'm completely satisfied with the ending. I wanted to see more about El vs Angela, Enzo and Yuri (I was hoping Enzo would have joined the team). I was also expecting more suspense and emotions in the final reunion.

I think he will play a big part in s5, already knew in s4 vol 1. He is very curious about the upside down stuff, I hope he will fight with the crew and go out like a boss

But we still need an explanation as to why the dark energy known as the Mindflayer existed in the first place? I understand that Vecna/Henry harnessed it's power and molded it into his image of the shadow monster but it doesn't really explain it's origins. The Mindflayer seems like a form of dark matter, very alien or God-like. We also need an explanation as to why Henry developed psychic powers as a child as well.

@jonathanಠ_ಠ Eleven did not created the Upside Down. If she’s powerful enough to create an entire dimension from scratch, there’s no reason she wouldn’t be able to revive Max and stomp Vecna in a split second.

I was so mad that only Dustin was talking about Eddie, the rest just didn’t bring it up and it confused me, seemed like a type of plot hole tbh. They just totally forgot that he was one of the group

I feel max dying was more impactful than being revived. The revive felt a bit of a cheat.

@jonathanಠ_ಠ yeah you’d think but I think tbh the duffer brothers maybe had too much covid time and messed with the timeline a bit. They’ve admitted to going into previous seasons and changing things like wills birthday. The fact there was a big song and dance about Max writing letters, for me doesn’t make sense why she survived and will end up potentially blind when she wakes. I think they changed it because season 3 finished with a letter from hopper and they maybe felt it was too similar but I do believe max was supposed to die, then they changed it. The letters might never get spoke of again and I’m hoping they don’t do a time travel thing where Hawkins town never knows what really happened, and people come back from the dead kinda thing. Best Stranger Things season EVER!! I am so glad I got to experience it the day it came out!! Both vol.1 and vol.2! The quality felt better than most movies nowadays. I can't wait to see what they do with the characters and the story in season 5!!

When I finished volume two my heart just sank you for Max. Just hearing her say “I don’t want to die. I’m not ready.” With the pure fear in her voice. It was the first time she had actually sounded terrified in the series. It was the first time she took in that she might actually die. I must admit that if they killed off Max my Netflix account would’ve gone with her.

I was heartbroken when I saw Max’s limbs distort as Vecna began to take her, but with Eleven reviving her, albeit soulless, she will play a role in season 5 for sure. I also think her vision will return. When Vecna had her at Billy’s grave, her eyes went white. Same with Nancy when he showed her the future to come. As soon as his possession ceases, their vision returns. Because Vecna technically succeeded in ‘consuming’ Max, her body is empty. A shell. When he is defeated in season 5, I’m confident Max will return.

This is definitely the best season. This season brought to much excitement and fear to the characters. The ending is such a cliffhanger

I really like how they made all of the groups - albeit very apart from each other - collectively contributed for defeating Vecna.

I dont know if I am the only one, but I expected more from these two eps…feel like it is missing something and my expectations were much higher..

I think Max is tied to this in more ways than previously thought. Perhaps, One/Henry/Vecna is residing within her. I hope the group is not split in season 5. I have a feeling that either Steve or Jonathan will be killed off. Will Byers and El also could be killed.

I was a little bit disappointed with the last episode, Vecna didn’t really show his power enough for me and I love Eddie but he wasn’t a big enough character to die for me, I expected him to die! So expected for season 5

This finale really had an Empire Strikes Back vibe, especially with ending where the villains win and the heroes are at their weakest spot. Luke undergoing training with Yoda similar to the whole Project Nina thing (even the scene where Eleven lifts that chamber totally parallels Luke trying to lift the X-wing). Luke leaving the training to face Vader despite Yoda warning that he's not ready yet, just like how Eleven ran off to face Vecna despite Brenner claiming that she's not ready yet, only for Luke/Eleven to face defeat under Vader/Vecna. It ends with Han Solo being captured by the Empire and frozen in Carbonite, kinda like how ST ends with Max in a coma. Even their story structures are kinda similar, with the heroes being separated for the majority of the story (Luke/Eleven undergoing training while Han & Leia/the Hawkins gang are fighting the Empire/Vecna)

I totally agree! I literally said that to my husband as we waited for part 2. I was like, I think they're going to pull an Empire Strikes Back and have everything fall to pieces. Empire Strikes Back was actually pretty controversial when it first came out because the good guys lost. I had a feeling the Duffers would be partially influenced by the Star Wars OG trilogy format. To add to your comparisons, Mike even pulled a Han "I know" moment. Obviously more emotional but we have a character who was reluctant to share his feelings admiting he loves the main heroine.

What happened to the military? They just gave up the pursuit on 11 after she escaped with Mike and the others

They were obviously not gonna get killed, blame yourself for believing the hype about a S4 bloodbath. They are not killing the children, it was obvious from the start. Neither will they kill any of the older siblings, that would essentially change the show's dynamic. They also cannot kill old characters and bring in new ones all the time because how do you want the kids to start explaining the UD every 5 minutes to the new ones? Between funerals? It was always going to be Barb and Bob and Eddie who go out...

@Just Huell There's a reason good writers don't explain everything up front, that's for sure. Clearly 11 created the portal. I'm not convinced she created the Upside Down or even the other dark elements that already existed when Vecna was teleported. It does make sense though that the attacks directed at Hawkins were personal (setting aside that the portal was there - seems obvious) but there's a portal in Russia, and it doesn't appear attacks were happening there. Clearly Vecna was behind the personal vengeance. Perhaps the pre-Vecna Mind Flayer particles and the demidogs etc would have remained happily in their own dimension? The Duffer's have designed the show to leave us wondering. I just hope it all gets wrapped up with clarity in the final season. PS - not sure why the demigorgon could get through the portal, or in some way, pulled Will and Barb through in season 1, BUT Vecna couldn't do that. It's illogical, but it's good writing that's suspenseful. otherwise we'd have maybe two seasons tops.

@abstract valley from the flashback the upside down has been around for a while. i just think vecna made it in his image. i also think he is the kind flayer because he told 11 that it was him all along. when billy said “it was all for you” i think that was vecna planning world destruction. but was stopped. so he took matters into his own hands. so no vecna didn’t create the upside down. but he made it in his image.

@Atlanta Guns he shaped it and he controls it but he did not create it. He stumbled upon it his first "day" in the upside down, as he literally explains and it shows as well. It didn't have the spider form but it was already there swirling around like it was in the Russian lab when part of it was contained there. All he did was use his telekinetic powers to shape it into the spider like form he was obsessed with and then he began controlling it, along with all the other "creatures" he found there.

Have always felt a hole in the series with the brief appearance of 8. Can't help but get the feeling she could possibly return. Maybe to combine forces with 11 to end Vecna for good.

Honestly, my gut feeling is that Max isn’t going to wake up in season 5. It just feels like she’s supposed to be dead, but El just didn’t want to accept it. So while she may have saved her physical body, I’m not sure if her mind is coming back.

I feel like they would’ve killed off max right away but the fact that they kept her alive makes it clear that she’s going to play a part in how they might fight vecna. El was there when max was dying, max herself quoted how she didn’t want to die or wasn’t ready to die.

So when Will says it was him all along, did it mean that Vecna kidnapped him? I think from my understanding it was probably Vecna behind the scenes, harnessing the power of the upside down (shaping the mind flair) into the spider- them having a mutual relationship etc

@Jax Sin the mindflayer is vecna, it was shown that the particles were just a creature in the upside down that was instrumentalized by him, with his abilities he can manipulate these particles... and he used the particles to gain control over the other creatures in the upside down or to shape them to this spider-looking creature. this is not a theory, this was shown in the last episode.

my only problem with ST is that they can't write good deaths/fair ones. Yes, I am salty about Eddie's death however this isn't just about Eddie. You can tell by every death each season that the deaths are unnecessary and unfair and u can tell that the duff bros are afraid to kill a fan-favorite character hence hopper not dying in season 3. Benny, Bob, Barb, Alexi, Jason, and now Eddie unfortunately all died in their season of introduction. Since ST is such a popular show all the characters including the main 6, the older kids, the adults, and ERICA that if they kill off character it could either impact the show or fans will be very sad and disappointed, however it has to be done at some point. I am amazed that after all the shit they have gone through this season alone that none of the main main characters died, seems too good to be true. BTW GOOD NEWS JASON DIED 🤪😁

How is Vecna alive after being hit with 2 Molotovs and multiple shotgun shells?

When dustin was talking to Eddies uncle, I kept thinking to myself that he NEEEDS to refer to him as a hero and when he actually did it was very fulfilling. Also a part of me thinks that how Vecna can *take* someones entire essence and memories, that Eleven could *give* apart of her life force. I am hoping that in season 5 Max gets some of Elevens powers and they become a duo to take down Vecna's shadow form. She is one of the most negatively effected by Vecna and I think it would be perfect to allow Max to have some superpowers so she can channel her grief into taking Vecna down. Max really came from the left field in becoming such a powerful core member of the show and this season she quickly elevated herself to one of my favourite characters. As her limbs were being broken i was a complete WRECK!!! Sadie SInk as an actress is truly a masterclass. I am forever changed by this season of Stranger Things.

Do you even watch the show....why would they introduce 008 and have her say she's going to come back when 011 needs her the most.....to develop max having powers too?? For me season 4 is the best season for Stranger Things so far. It was so sad that Eddie died as a hero but not everyone see's him that way. Most Hawkins believe that Eddie is a murderer. And I also cried when Steve said that Nancy was there when dream about he and his family going on a vacation.

I am glad Steve survived Volume 2, but Eddie didn’t deserve to die and he was a great character.

Even trying to keep max alive is sort of pointless as well. Would've rather her death and the readings of the letters she wrote for the group following her death at the end of the episode. That was what felt forced. Eddie had to die.

This is by far the best season so far, this ending was one of the best endings I ever seen in any show out there in the world. Everything is so well written, music, production, effects, story and so on. This ending gave me chills, tears and exitment for the future of this show this is the first time in stranger things that the evil have won the battle but that dosent mean they will win the war. it´s going to be epic in season 5 when the invasion starts and the final boss battle is happening. Can´t wait only 2 years too go!

An amazing season. Anyone else catch the nod to The Matrix with Will’s speech to El while she was fighting Vecna mirroring Trinity’s speech to Neo when he was fighting Smith? I love how the Duffer brothers have used elements of so many great films while still making something so original. Can’t wait for Season 5!

Eddie was amazing and the guitar scene was epic! Loved he's character and the fact that he won over alot of us in a short time also love how the upside down world is now merging into Hawkins gonna make season 5 very interesting

I've just finished volume 2. Mannnnn it was so intense. I mean what was that? Everything was so scary & traumatizing! Can't wait for season 5. I mean this season is the best season ever. Felt sad for eddie, but as dustin said eddie is definitely a super hero! I hope max will be get better soon in season 5. The way lucas and eleven trying to help her was the most wholesome friendship moment.

I still believe Will has a connection with Vecna and the upside down in a bad way. I think season 5 he will somehow betray his friends.

I think the biggest revelation is the fact that the "Mind Flayer" never existed and was Vecna the whole time. I'm not sure I like this retcon, but it makes sense if they want "001" to be the main antagonist as he's the foil to El. Though I hope in season 5 we get full clear info on what the "Shadow" clouds are and where they came from.

Am a bit confused in the final episode before he was sent to the upside down when he was young and that the creel house he drew the shadows monster and then when he transcended he say the monster which means the monster has always been there.

Yup that’s the thing that most people don’t get or shall I say don’t want to be true. There is no mind flayer. It’s a name the kids gave to the spider shadow monster created/shaped by vecna/001/Henry. It’s been vecna all this time, he’s the ultimate villain of this story and he’s been controlling everything since season 1. People just want the “mindflayer” to be the ultimate baddie because that’s how it is in D&D and vecna is the mindflayers general. But this isn’t D&D it’s stranger things. People need to get over this and recognize that this show is as much about vecna as it is about El. Vecna’s story is absolutely amazing the best villain I have ever seen. Netflix makes great shows.

During the confrontation with Nancy, Vecna showed her the visions of Hawkins fall and all of them came true by the end of this season, but he also showed a vision of Mike, Holly, Karen dying, so if his other visions come true, does that mean these three would be in horrible danger in S5???

It seemed like EDDIE was forcefully killed ....I mean distractions could have been created in a many ways....why go for a kill... Couldn't accept that part 😭🙂

They did kind of make it seem like Will chosing to "throw the fireball" and missing, instead of "playing it safe" during the D&D game at the beginning of the show somehow affected reality. Thats a cool theory.

Here are my theories I hate how Eddie and Max (yes I think she’s dead) died but I think their deaths will become the central issues on the next season. Joyce, Jonathan and Nancy will be busy with Wil because I strongly believe that Wil is connected to the upside down and he might be used by Vecna. Lucas and Erica will be pretty busy with Max cause if she ain’t dead I think she will have some super powers or something. Maybe she would have heightened senses because she lost her sense of sight. El might help them locate Max but if not I think she’s either trapped or dead. Dustin’s going to be busy with trying to make Eddie be remembered as a hero by the town of Hawkins. Steve and Robin might him with these. Lastly, I think Wil will die next season

Yeah Dustin spending his entire time trying to prove to a town who are moving away and running for their life that Eddie the freak was a hero. Good time for Dustin to join Politics too. Don't you think? The team is all scattered by the end, so accordingly they are going to team-up next time. Steve, Robin and Dustin (possibly Vickie too), Jonathan, Nancy, El, Hopper,Joyce, Mike and Will like in the end shot. Lucas, Erica and Max(if she is alive) also maybe Dr Owens since he is alive too. Max may need a whole lot help next and Dr Owens would be there for help.

@Morpheus its a technicality. Since she did technically die, vecna's 4 kills he needed were granted which opened the portal. But eleven brought her back. Remember dr brenner said that vecna consumes his victims. Since vecna did technically kill her, he consumed her meaning her body was in tact, but max's conscious belonged to vecna. That would also explain why when eleven jumped into max while she was in the coma, she saw nothing. Im asusming if they can kill vecna, then max will wake up since her body is still alive.

Tbh I really like the theory that they did destroy Vecnas physical form but it turned to dust by the time they got down to where he would be so I think he probably did become in a spiritual form or something and merged with the mind flayer which he created

I really hate that Eddie died. Him playing Metallica on top of the house was absolutely badass.

Max's scene on the last episode was SO powerful and the acting was spot on cant wait for the next season

This ending reminds me of avengers infinity war, despite of them trying to take down the threat, they failed, their world fell apart, they lost their loved ones and now are watching the destruction. If season 5 is anything close to endgame, then either Will or Eleven will make the ultimate sacrifice
