another great option is to not bother hyping your game up when its pre pre pre pre pre pre pre alpha. Wait til ur game is ready for a decent early access campaign and rake in millions. look at games like valheim. some people really cant wait to push a concept to hype when you admit its not really ready to show yet.

@Troy Ferris What's wrong with that? The Skate series has always been multi-player focused experiences that do the bare minimum for single-player content. This is honestly the few cases where making the IP free to play would be an improvement.

Do you know what would be sick, having a seasons like fall winter summer spring, or in the fall where all the leaves are on the ground the leaves world move when you ran through it, or you could change the seasons by going to settings and click fall winter summer. Of course winter, ice would be slippery so like a slip effect when you run on it, or if you rode the skateboard into snow it would slow you down or make you fall to your face.

my favorite franchise. i just hope there is endless character customization clothing, custom prints and designs, brands, hair, board custy, i know when this comes out i will literally not be playing anything else. the fact they are focusing on online incorporation in a more in depth level excites me but even if this game was single player offline play only i’d still be really hype

People when EA announced Anthem and dropped the 1st gameplay trailer: "Looks like BioWare redeemed themselves this time, this looks epic..." This trailer actually made me start crying tears of joy! It feels like someone is actually listening to me as soon as I heard “san vansterdam” I got crazy goose bumps especially seeing the Community center in the play test omg I hope this is just a massive skate2 expansion like hint and throwbacks but also new environments. Beyond excited for this.

Yall really need to lower your expectations a bit. EA is good at marketing, but they have a bad reputation for actually delivering. This could be a very great skate game, but if they don't deliver something that is better than skaterxl then its kinda pointless imo. Graphics better be top notch , with the cloth physics shown. Im just hearing about this, so I just finished watching this video. Skate. Take your time, this is by far the best news ive heard in a long time. And the devs, keep up the great work. The pure nostalgia in this video. The fact you were so honest and just giving an update to the fans. There was a point in time where noone thought a new Skate was coming out. But now we know, youre just trying to make it perfect for us die-hard fans and listening to us to help shape the game. Every game needs to take this approach especially for a game "series" Then fans are the ones who will be playing and of course new players will emerge and become fans also! Not going to lie this video gave me the same exact nostalgia and feelings that the video, Steve from Blue's Clues update video gave me. Which tells me, you guys are putting sooooo much effort and time into this. It may be published by EA, and with it brings some negative stigma, but the people making the games have always had unrivaled passion to make the final product the best is possibly can be. Rockstar definitely wouldn't benefit from showing pre alpha gameplay of highly anticipated games tbh, the sentiment around skate is a little different because we've been waiting so long for a new one and the community is heavily involved, Rockstar makes giant blockbuster games and showcasing and giving stuff away 3 years before release just doesn't sound like a solid business move, more verbal communication is good though, which they surprisingly did when they announced development on GTA6 officially, normally they don't say a damn thing, and they probably wont from here on out lol.
