I think it'd be awesome if Sega could be bought by Xbox especially since it is a Japanese studio game and I'm a big fan of Sonic and they don't have a lot of fighting games and the first thing that pops in my mind is soul Calibur I only like the first soul caliber that was actually on Sega and as far as getting back to Sonic those The last song again I thought that was good was the first Sonic adventure game also this was on Dreamcast and they ended the system back in the beginning of 2001 and in the same year the original Xbox system came out in that year but towards the end of that year

that makes no sense. eso+ is literally dlc & stuff like that. xbox doesnt gift free dlc just for a sub to gamepass. thats 30-300$ per game for free. no reason to go down that road.

I've been making this point for awhile: do you really think Microsoft spent $7.5 billion to become a third party publisher on PlayStation? Does that make any sense to anyone? I could see a handful of games hitting PlayStation for whatever reason, but by and large it's gonna be XBox and PC only. This wasn't hard to figure out from the get go.

Gotta disagree with ya bud. As an Xbox fan, I still don’t want Bethesda games to be exclusive “to make up for lost ground” as you say. I don’t want anything to be exclusive, in fact. Across Sony or Xbox. Exclusivity, imo, does nothing but hurt the industry. For example, if someone has an Xbox and a new game comes out but only on play station, most people aren’t going to go buy this new console just for a game, so now this person is upset they can’t play a game they wanted, and the devs of that game missed out on a sell. Had they game released everywhere, said person would have bought in. I understand some people but both console, but honestly that’s stupid. It’s like buying to PCs to play diff games. It’s dumb. At a minimum, if a game is “exclusive”, it should only be for a max of 1 year, then released everywhere. Games like God of War, Horizon zero Dawn, last of us remastered, etc, will never reach many Xbox players and never reach their potential sales figures due to this stupid idea of exclusivity. It’s like these companies think having a game sell them 5% more consoles (which they already don’t make money on) out weighs the 100% increase in games sales they (potentially) get releasing on the opposing console. Not to mention the profit margin on software is exponentially higher than hardware. Anyway, that’s my take on exclusivity.

Hopefully it will be more like bioshock 2 and not bioshock infinite the abilities were just right and rewarding to look at mixing the elemental plasmids was nice too but bioshock infinite felt too hard the achievements also. And they completely changed the plasmid system to some weird abilities which were unique but felt watered down and nerfed a lot

@Jack Marston! thats why i said you didnt watch the video. 1 day after the aquisition was done they filmed a 1 hour video where the important people from xbox & bethesda were talking about the future plans. you can watch it on both of their youtube channels if you want. as long as switch and ps5 dont have the gamepass app they dont get new games minus the 2 with old contracts. enjoy your sunday^^

Your voice makes everything you say so hyped and meaningful! I love it. As a PS, Switch and PC gamer who hasnt had an Xbox since 360 I am hoping they make Bethesda exclusive to Xbox. I want a reason to have a Series X. Im excited for the Competition! Competition is good. Look at Nintendo... Noone to keep them in check. So they kinda do not look after their playerbase IMO.

Think it will be bethesda on gamepass for 6 months also on playstion for full price everytime bethesda drops a new game so all the playstation users will see the value on gamepass. Just remember its only on gamepass for so long then discounted if you want to buy, you own nothing on gamespass. Worse when you have both, I bought Dirt 5 on ps5 and then seen it announced for gamepass, difference is I own it on ps5. Gamepass has saved me money no doubt and older games look so good. Think my ps5 will be my exclusives machine. I bought SX for Halo Infinite and when they took over bethesda I got fomo.

In the gran scheme of things, I don't find the Bethesda acquisition all that interesting. Contrast that with a hypothetical acquisition of a company like Konami, or SEGA, or some other developer that is under-utilizing their fantastic IP catalogue and losing core fans. The idea of Xbox revitalizing a company like that via acquisition... now THAT is exciting. Bethesda, by comparison, still has me buying the majority of games they release.

Yes PlayStation is putting games on steam. Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, and soon to be more are no longer PlayStation exclusives. It doesn’t just magically turn Steam into a PlayStation platform so I can still use the word exclusive.

3 months ago I swapped from being a PlayStation fan for over 20 years.....and bought a series X. Goooooood you shall be known as....darth....vader 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 Exclusive MEANS NOTHING TO SONY, horizon zero dawn and death stranding going to pc litterly made me come to the green side and honestly I DO NOT REGRET A SECOND.

By expanding the Xbox ecosystem. It will make third party deals more expensive for Sony in the long run. That is why Sony and Microsoft will continue to acquire more studios. Gaming will become a service in the future and it's inevitable that PS will have a similar service like Gamepass, that isn't PS Now.

If they bring any future Bethesda games to other platforms other than the Xbox ecosystem then its a big mistake in my opinion. This could be the catalyst to take xbox and gamepass to the next level. If they were on other platforms not as many will buy in to their ecosystem.

Bethesda publications have met with increasing animosity due their insistence on greedy monetisation strategies, therefore losing them sales and fans. Sony have continued to dominate hardware sales, being responsible for over 50% of last gen hardware sales. In contrast, Nintendo sold close to 30% and exbox a mere 20%. The Japanese console manufacturers are still focused on providing good quality hardware and software, not just a stepping stone to progressively ailing PC gaming.

They need to keep everything possible in house. I get the couple games that they had already been paid buy ps. Before they microsoft bought everything. But besides those titles. Ps needs to be told to bad so sad. Just as they have done to microsoft. You don't spend the money they did to keep asses in the ps network.

I'm loving my SX more than any other console, probably since getting a SNES. Can't wait for Zenimax games to come out, but they better be exclusive to Xbox.

There is just no reason to let these games go to Sony's platform. That would be like Sony letting Spiderman or Ratchet n Clank come to the Xbox, which everyone knows would never happen in a million years. Sony also bought studios that make exclusives for them aside from their Sony studios games. Elder Scrolls, Wolf, etc should stay exclusive to Xbox and Windows platforms. If Xbox wants their user base back where it used to be during the PS360 era, or to match the present Playstation user base, they need to give players enough reasons to move back to Xbox.

I believe Starfield will be fully exclusive. Wolfenstein final will probably go to PS5 (as part of the deal that brought a recent PS game to Xbox) as a quid pro quo. Elder Scrolls Online will stay multiplat as a rod and hook to entice new gamers to Xbox when Skyrim VI comes out exclusively to Xbox. But that's just me playing marketing head. Remember you spend millions toward a game to make it timed exclusive, you buy the franchise to make it exclusive. If it was Xbox's intention to only do perhaps timed exclusives on all the Zenimax games d'ya think MS would have put down 7.5Billion on the company?

I think Xbox should make every single Bethesda title an exclusive. Sony won't let Xbox have any of their exclusive so screw them. Either end the exclusive war and let all gamers play these games or keep Bethesda titles exclusive.

I ain’t buying an Xbox, if the Bethesda games are gonna be exclusives. None of my friends are buying a Xbox either. And I think tes, fo and starfield are gonna be 3rd party or timed.

I have both consoles, I prefer my Xbox but I have to say everyone and my self included have said and know MS need exclusives so it makes total sense they’ve bought Zenimax to bolster their exclusive portfolio. It’s ok for Sony to do it so why not Xbox, you don’t get exclusive content that’s on Netflix turn up on Amazon prime. The idea is to make time service attractive to the point you want to subscribe,, you do that by having games you can’t play anywhere else.. it’s that simple 👊🏼

If you ask me, I think MS should release Bethesda games on PlayStation ONLY if Sony is just as generous with their games! Let's say MS release the games on PlayStation, MS gets money, Sony gets a small cut, PS players get the game, but what do Xbox gamers get? Pretty much nothing. MS should be aggressive just to make Sony play ball with them. MS can look live without Sony, and don't give me that "money on the table excuse" it applies to Sony just as much.

Their games should launch only on PC, series x/s and cloud. Launching on ps4 would make sense, before current gen. But ps5 install base is tiny, in comparison. So, sales on ps5 would be negligible, compared to the potential to drive xbox series sales and game pass subscriptions. Besides, PC has a huge market to cover any potential losses from not launching on playstation. And every PS fanboy owns a powerful high end PC rig, if you take their reasoning as truth.
