The Snifflet is so adorable! and FINALLY the horse breeding bug has been fixed. It was quite annoying having two top tier horses and their offspring wouldn't be that great. Looking forward to the 1.20 update too :)

Definitely not, they interact with yt community quite a lot. Slicedlime posts videos on his channel, some devs chat to youtubers to collect feedback, and so on. For instance, Xisuma recently talked to 2 devs, you can find his video on that.

I feel like the sniffer should hatch on magma blocks kinda like how turtle eggs only hatch on sand. So we can have a decorative option for the egg. And it’s like warming up the egg after being in the ocean for so long

What are you trying to do!! Frying the snifflet egg on magma block!! Magma blocks are just rocks with cracks full of lava between them. Maybe, a mechanism similar to the bee hives (campfire method) could be more intuitive for heating the egg.

I love the new changes being made to horses! I've been wanting this to be fixed for years now. And I'm super hyped for the new Sniffer! But I do think the egg-hatching animation needs to be improved. It needs more character like we saw in the Mob Vote video. Having it just pop out without any animation at all feels like a missed opportunity.

I think that the loot tables for the archaeology could be adjusted. I don't think that it would be too much to remove all the loot except sniffer eggs, shards and templates. The process to get the new loot is currently too difficult. You have to find the structure, then find suspicious sand, then remember to use a brush and after all that you might get none of the new items. That seems like too much. I like how most of the process is skill based instead of luck. Side note: can we get more gestures in Java, we have nod, shake, jump, crouch and punch, could we get a right click gesture, maybe some combining right and left clicks like the old sword waggle?
