Guys - please don’t assume every cycle race you see is for men. This is Lorena Wiebes, multiple TDF stage winner and overall kick arse racer. She’s one of the female cyclists that inspires me greatly in my own (humble) racing. Building up women’s cycling is only good for the sport! On the subject of what she did - she got pushed off the road by the rider in the purple helmet and was in a dangerous position. I think she did the best thing by quickly hopping back up onto the road - it would have been more dangerous to stay there.

Reckless & dangerous to other riders

I disagree. They were in danger and got back onto the road safely. This happens regularly in pro bike racing

@Daniel Moore this time he comes up. But he risk falling and crash everyone else in the race that each person train for year for that race. It's unnecessary stupidity. If you are a cyclist, you know this is reckless.

@a I still disagree all they done was a bunny hop which is a basic cycling skill. She made sure she was far enough forward not to overlap the wheel of the rider behind. I do race myself and I would have done the same. The real danger is if she stayed on that ditch she would have more chance of crashing which would bring the whole group down
