This guy has has thousands of dollars of equipment. Good luck trying to do this without the right tools

His tools make it easier, but are not necessary to do this project.

Amazing! Thanks for the tutorial(s)! Wow!
Vor TagGarrett Rook
What is wrong with Ryobi?! Especially since he's using a Hart for drilling pocket holes...
Vor TagGary De Pury
This guy is an amateur...... OK who am I kidding. I loved every damn minute. I'm actually remodeling my office and I'm the rare attorney who owns more than one saw....but I am considering this guys technique for a credenza. (Cre-den-za: Latin: place to put random stacks of paper and hide wires)
Vor TagPatrick Crowe
Where the shims go matters, yes. The toekick rail supports the floor of the cabinet. Not a good practice, but I like your channel.
Vor 2 TageFique
Yea. I enjoyed this video. As a stranger, I’ll subscribe. Are we friends now? xD
Vor 2 TageVERITAS
You should call it an epoxy river shoe bench... Yeah, that sounds nice.
Vor 3 TagePhil
Not just you, I also put extra screws in my mouth, amongst other items I don't want to loose. Remember to spit, don't swallow. Couple questions/comments for you: what did you do with the outlets on the wall? Any intentions to integrate those into the built-in and keep those useable? Why no joinery with the top? Are you worried about that splitting over time? Have you considered portable roller stands for your in-feed and out-feed of your planer and drum sander?

What kind of paint would you recommend if you were painting the top? I'm currently building pantry shelving, yes I know not very similar, but I'm trying to figure out what type of paint and coating to use for these! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

I've watched several of your videos. You should be teaching this stuff at a vo-tech high school. You break things down into the basic steps necessary to accomplish the task. Very well done. Kudos.

I just found your channel today and your awesome! Your work is beautiful and I love your sense of humor. Your a pleasure to watch. I subscribed to your channel as soon as I saw my first video of yours. I started off with your series on how to make cabinets. I have always wanted to learn how to make beautiful pieces of furniture out of wood. You are giving me the opportunity to try, and the inspiration. Thank you for teaching and taking the time to show all of us your amazing skill.

Quick tape measure trick.. printed on the side of each tape measure is the exact length and you just press the tape measure against one of the walls and add the distance of the tape measure itself.

Watched a ton of wood work YouTube don't think I've ever seen your vids before. You just earned a sub. Funny sarcasm and great advice. Top editing as well.
Vor 20 TageNefFy
Last comment before I move onto an actual DIY I can DIM. If you were going to make an easy storage bench you would get a bench with a piece of wood and laid on top and slide some baskets underneath. Yours is better but it is still not easier
Vor 21 TagNefFy
“ milling them down was a pain in the butt“ Precisely the point I was about to make this is not easy. Not if you don’t have a tablesaw and lumber or a husband who is handy in a dress. 😑 But I love Apoxsee so you totally got my attention again😍
Vor 21 TagNefFy
Stud finders suck. Get a big magnet you can stick it to any wall or ceiling right where the studs are. Attach to pole if needed. It’s funny and amazing at the same time 👌🏻
Vor 21 TagNefFy
Your calming voice and monotone wit are hypnotizing.... But the dress.... makes you look fat. 😯 With the manly beard and superb narration, tho, no one will notice... 🙂👍🏻 😂🙌🏻✌🏻😘 “carcass box” (Is this really the proper phrase? It sounds so funny. .... I would just call it a frame and I would make fun of you except for I’m not so sure that you don’t know something I don’t know. 🧐)
Vor 21 TagNefFy
I like the Ingenuity and acting. I think I’ll subscribe. Don’t let me down man.

Outstanding! We just purchased a 1910 Craftsman that will need exactly this at the back door entrance! It's nearly the same exact application with a 12' run, over ceramic tile, under low set windows. The decor style that you built will even work well for the traditional craftsman design of our home. I'm going to check out your other videos too, as we want to do built-in cabinets in the dining and living rooms. Thank you for sharing this build, and the other links to cabinet making!

You don't have to bend take measure, they all have size on the side at the bottom so just, attach you tape measure run to the end including tape cover and you'll have correct size :) https://youtu.be/TkoCWUJt10w
