I do want to say that although rashford’s attitude and throwing hands is inexcusable, he played decent today. There was a big change in how he played. He made a lot more forward passes and crosses that he didn’t make before. ETH must have put a harsh word in, so I think that’s a big positive if rashford can keep that up. There were multiple positives taken from the game and I hope we can translate that and finally gain some momentum starting from Burnley.

Resigning Rashford was a massive home grown PR mistake. United should have sold him for a huge fee and used the funds to sign 2-3 quality players. I came into this expecting to lose and in the end disappointed we didn’t get something. That usually means we played well, but we didn’t at all, so I have no idea what to make of that (I couldn't believe how open the midfield was). As much as i dont rate Sancho, Rashford needs to come off for him. Sancho creates chances, actually crosses the ball. Sancho, garnacho, and Pellistri all have that ability as a winger. Bench Rashford until he gets the point. No use getting a striker if you dont have players to pass to him. When amrabat is healthy we should do casemiro and amrabat at the back and eriksen as CAM.

Always have said,was a new keeper a priority this season? How would he feel if someone was shouting at him the way he did to Harry? Keeper that can play with his feet but can't save with his hands!!

As a whole, there was more discipline in our process and we can build on that moving forward. Lost momentum with the Onana error and conceded a bad pen.

To be fair on Erikson, at Brentford he was playing in the pivot and was taking the ball off the defense and doing something useful with it Regista style. He was a decent player that filled a hole on the cheap. He was bought for that reason because mcfred were a bit poor going forward. The issue is we have improved and now his defensive issues are shining through because we take what he does for granted having improved and found different problems. However it's not lost on me that we need a player who can do both.

Eriksen played as a box-to-box midfielder for Inter, but he had backup from Perisic and Bastoni, so that helped. He started to find his footing towards the end of the second season, but was never brilliant.

casimero did well last year but he hasn't got the legs to keep it up for this team he is a good player and was perfect for a team like real madrid or even man city! in a team that has a plan and can control the game with possession and keep hold of the ball! But We can't rashford is dynamic and looks brilliant now and then but terrible at passing the ball or keeping shape or pressing ! So when you have good passing players like Ericsson who's getting old now he can't track back either we have the wrong players in positions! when players like rashford who has no football brain and no end product 80% of the time it then puts Ericsson and casimero under pressure who aren't used to doing that! Casimero is constantly under pressure because we can't hold or dictate the game! We have too many different style of players to play as a team! We either get two strong CDMs and play counter with quick wingers! or we get technical players who control the game and build up the play like City in each case rashford and Anthony are no good! ETH wants to play like pep but has the totally wrong players in certain positions
