Its more of an electric current visualization modality and shows the inherent tendency towards complexity in our universe i feel/think. The existence of complex self preserving/expanding/accumulating actions almost compulsively driven by forces in this instance electromagnetic force without any semblance of individual identity shows the path through which complexity/aggregates might have evolved from simple/unitary states

"Electrons get sprayed down from the positive wire..." Yeah, I know this video is 6 years old and all, but even back then most scientists agreed that electrons flow *from* the negative pole *to* the positive one.

Vor 6 Tage
HiddenWindshield
HiddenWindshield

@Hayden Hoodless While I do appreciate all the information, that was in fact my whole point. I *know* that electrons aren't being sprayed down. That is, in fact, exactly what I said.

Vor 5 Tage
Hayden Hoodless
Hayden Hoodless

The video is incorrect about this, there are no electrons being sprayed down from the positive wire. What's happening in the very first demonstration is that the ball bearings are placed centrally in the oil with an air gap between the bearings and the positive electrode, and the oil and negative ring, making an electric field. I believe what is happening is that the bearings contain positive and negative ions that allow for the alignment of electrons. Since opposites attract, the negatively charged electrons in the bearings really want to join the positive electrode somehow, but the air gap won't allow for a circuit to complete yet, and the positive ions in the bearing really want to go grab some of those electrons from the negatively charged rim. Internally, the ball bearing is trying to rip itself apart, like a tug of war between the two electrodes. So why do the bearings start arranging themselves into formations like that? At first, the bearings were all clustered in the centre, but not all bearings are placed equally. Here's the thing, electricity and magnetism are known to be part of the same force, the electromagnetic force - the bearings have also positive and negative magnetic poles, because of the way the electrons are aligned inside of them. On an ordinary surface, the magnetic fields are not strong enough to move the bearings, but the oil takes away the resistance of friction. The bearings are being pulled towards each other as well as the electrodes, but it's a matter of what is closest around which wins out initially. When the bearings touch eachother, the electrons are pulled through aligning themselves in the directions of the poles. So two bearings, with electrons pulled to one side of it (the side closest to the positive electrode): -+ -+ , when they touch, become - - ++. The electrons rearranging themselves when the bearings touch make a longer magnet with a single positive and negative magnetic pole with a greater magnetic field, and thus more bearings are pulled towards it. So why don't the bearings just huddle up together in one big clump? Well the electrodes are also pushing the electrons in the bearings away away, because like opposes like. The negative side is pushing the electrons to the positive wire, and the positive side is pushing the positively charged bearings to the negative side. Eventually, when the chain of ball bearings become long enough, the bearings reach the negative rim, and a sudden influx of electrodes is pulled from the negative rim into the bearings, and nearly all become negatively charged, although some from the centre of the bearing cluster are pushed away immediately because the magnetic field shifts and they realign their magnetic poles afterward, but all that sudden energy is so much that the electrical energy needs to go somewhere, and it arcs through the air to the positive electrode, and a current flows, restoring peace to the galaxy.

🧠Neuronal structures exist primarily because of the charges present within them make them do so. Structures hold together by charge and they move and perform functions all based on them the biological structures interacting with electricity.⚡️ 2:27 the electrical growth of structures (can possibly be used to replicate biological structures like receptor sites for studying. eg: The "Ball and Cup" mechanism present in voltage gated ion channels could be viewed and studied whilst first assembling somehow and then viewing when inducing a fluctuating positive and negative voltage upon the system to replicate how the structure behaves normally during its resting potential phase and interrupted by the huge wave of things that occur when an action potential rolls across it and as it is forced to return back to it's normal resting potential. We could study these "things" like the percussive nature that an action potential might have on a similar structure over time, as an action potential traveling across a neuron can occur both very fast and in large volume if a neuron is highly activated. And we could study this over time and maybe at an accelerated rate somehow to allow us to see when many types of neuronal structures breakdown and fail allowing us to register both an understanding of how long our brains will last and maybe allow for further testing on how to prevent breakdown and failure of our brain mechanisms. Much like devoting a day with low stimulus commonly referred to today as a "dopamine fast" for promoting dopamine receptor upregulation. If we think broader than just dopamine we can say we give time for the physical structures present within our brain to ease off of use and molecularly relax for some time such as a day. Maybe within that time frame structures that repair other structures will be introduced and cause repairs overall to have a noticeable or at least prolonging effect of health upon us. Which again could be tested for effectiveness with this technology and a boring 2D graph. If it's test reveals an effect maybe a further test with the added supplementation of other assembled structures similar to active structures of the various mechanisms present in the ingredients used in Nootropic formulas could be used within the test to study it's effectiveness overtime repeating the first experiment as a control to compare and isolate the differences in effects when certain nootropic active structures are introduced into the system. e.g. Testing the effects of creatine as a nootropic on all the structural mechanisms of the brain's molecular structures over time using a formable structure that has an effect similar as possible to if increased ATP like structures were introduced into the system. By doing this a quantifiable study on the effects of specific nootropics could be done and all with a boring 2D graph. How simplicity explains complexity.🤔 This technology is beautiful and if placed in the right hands can transfer potential energy into things that Move Us(KE). Good Work Men🍻

Electricity is the flow of mass, from one body to another - (voltage can be considered as the amount of electrons moved at one time - current can be considered as the speed at which those electrons are moved). The mass (moving to/from the balls) produces movement (momentum) which is when we observe the balls moving around in the fluid. The electron mass in the castor-oil itself is also moving and interacting the movement of the balls. The experiment makes it easier to visualise what's happening all the time in our world (even when we can't see/notice it). Wherever there is mass, momentum is continually passed from one body to another and back again - whether they appear to be touching or not (this is even how light/colour works). As only the mass of the balls and castor oil is measured, and only the rate and volume of the electrons is controlled, the rest of the movement is largely unpredictable to humans.

Vor 9 Tage
SCP Time
SCP Time

@Vegan Pete Indeed.

Vor 8 Tage
Vegan Pete
Vegan Pete

@SCP Time A very common mistake - most people still believe that electricity has no mass, lol. They assume we should ignore anything that is "too small to measure"- but then they get amazed (or confused AF) when those factors are scaled up significantly, because (all of a sudden) those effects become noticeable and measurable. Scaling/Relativity is one of the biggest kept secrets - science generally teaches us to disregard any anomalies, rather than explore (and develop) them. Another mistake is when people assume that electricity, matter, heat, radiation, light (colour), movement, force, sound (etc.) are all different - fundamentally they're all part the same energy spectrum, just different frequencies which appear to get sped up/slowed down, depending on the observer.

Vor 10 Tage
Phil Roe

@SCP Time the conditions are completely engineered, and the experiment only proceeds via the clear, obvious interference of an intelligent mind in the process. That is undeniable. You have to ask yourself "why were we able to observe this?" . . . this didn't simply "happen" via random action. The experiment only exists here because someone knew that these forces and actions were likely to occur based on known physics.

Any high school students can do this experiment. Allybubba has variac voltage control output voltage regulators. Its even more exciting when u use nano size titanium balls you can even make yourself exotic strong nano balls from simply Electroplate them with strong metallic coatings. You only have to create the the circuitry which allows you to make different reguleted voltages the nano beads will find were to attach themselves to make different types of circuitry it's as if they have built their own nervous system. You can use ultraviolet light activated polymers glue to maintain the self creating circuitry so it holds together after forming. Enjoy

It's cool, BUT the electrons go frome negative to positive pole! 😱 not the other way as it was said here! When electricity was first researched more thoroughly, no one knew about electrons, so they assumed the current going from positive to negative. When doing wiring. schemes (?) this still works, so the current goes from positive to negative to this day but THE ELECTRONS ARE NEGATIVELY CHARGED SO THEY STRIVE TOWARDS THE POSITIVE POLE! Please 🤪😵😫
