@Dummy Dodo I may be late but I can 100% assure you 1 it’s fairly hard to tell Lucario is steel and in my opinion it’s more like a dark type. But 2 it is 100% fighting steel, same as Cobalion.

Sprinkley's gotta be my favorite of the redesigns, it's so cute and original

I love the idea of a little baby monkey trying it's hardest to help put out small brushfires, helping their environment. And a Pokemon game could have a Sprinkley (probably his evolution cause it'd be bigger and more productive) fire department. Maybe in a big city similar to Castelia. A lil firefighter pokemon has soooo much potential imo.

I'm also super excited by the idea of the next two evolutions of a fireman monkey

And it sure is a great idea for a Water Monkey Starter since we already had Chimchar and Grookey.

I'll take Sprinkley over Simipour any day.

I really love both of them I don't know why but I just have a really special connection to simipour. probably because my ace of my team in Pokémon X was a Simipour for most the game

Pompascorch is a solid pokémon. I could easily see an evil team grunt using one on their team.

If that became the new Ekans/Rattata/zigzagoon that actually be awesome. Wish team flare had something like that in their squad. Maybe his final evolution is like idk Pimpasear where he just straight up becomes the godfather. That thing has so much potential and I love it!

I think Sprinkley and Stoatorch would work well with each other if they were starters in the same region.

I like the idea of a nervous little Sprinkley trying to put out a fire pokemon, thinking it's the start to a wildfire. Only to be told by it's trainer that it's part of the pokemon and the fire pokemon won't let it's fire spread to the environment.

firefighters are all about controlled blazes if they help prevent greater burning.

They could be something like charmander’s natural enemy/predator

Sprinkley is SOOOOO CUTE! It’s about time we get a water monkey starter and this was done perfectly! Pompascorch, though, is probably the most “Pokémon-Like” out of the redesigns in this video. I can imagine it having a rivalry with Bisharp and Scrafty.

I can imagine the lil guy in Pokemon black/white. Little city slicker pokemon held by the greasers in the alleyways.

This is probably hard to believe, but after the first vid in this series came out, I was thinking of sketching and sending you a pink fairy armadillo pokemon who's disguised as a piece of sushi. Seems like Sp4c34ndt1m3 beat me to it! My idea was almost exactly like Falshimi, just an armadillo instead of a cat, without the roe, and with a little dollop of wasabi for a nose. Great minds think alike I guess 😅

Really love boaranite’s name because it sounds like a pun on the bainite microconstutuent found in steel alloys. Even though boaranite isn’t a steel type, bainite formation is dependent on how the steel is heat treated.

ROUND TWO! FIGHT! We got another Water starter thanks to HORDENRANGER9. Sprinkley can chill with Taphoon from the previous RYF video. It's cute. And I can definitely see its final form be a full on Water/Steel fire fighter hose Pokemon. Crimson_Drake15 actually made a very interesting Pokemon in terms of concept. A spinning clay pot boar knight. Boaranite definitely looked wacky, but I like that. It felt original. Another starter huh? Seems like those are popular in this series. Anyway, Stoatorch doesn't look too bad. Both the NaphierD and TG7 versions are pretty neat. Pokemon also tend to have around 2, 3, or 4 colors. (Except black and white. For the most part...) So I can understand your troubles with redesigning Stoatorch. Welp... Moonitaur's out of the running. Then again, that's what I get for posting it early on. That said, I do want it to be updated. So I'll probably just do the work myself. Anyway, good job to everybody who got mentioned! Huh. This is the Fire type episode. It's also the Starter episode apparently, since Pompascorch, Stoatorch, and Sprinkley are all starters. Regardless, LapisRaven did a good job of laying out a good starter design. I think this is the first time a new type was added to a redesign as well. Nicely done!

I think Simuroc and Lukewyrm and Fahrenhydra look awesome! I'd love to see some Pokemon that you think "wouldn't normally fit or are too scary and mean for Pokemon". Since i know Pokemon tends to lean towards the nice side I'd love to see some scarier looking Pokemon or Fakemon that wouldn't normally fit.

Love pompascorch the original concept was fun and you finessed it into even more of a banger. It felt like truly successful in its placement into this series.

Boaranite feels very much like an alternate Emboar design, and though I already like Emboar more than most, I'd definitely prefer it as an evolution for Tepig

While I really like Pompascorch, I feel like now it's *too* similar to Pangoro

i like how the first and last feels like they could be starters in the same region got the brave fire fighter ape the rebelius fire rat so all it need is a pompus grass type

In my head I can see Pompascorch using flamethower by running its paw through the flame and blowing on the fire in its paw. Sometimes I really wish i knew how to animate stuff
