If you don't wanna use AI art but have no ideas, you can use spring hole. It just generates character deigns but in text format, with no pictures. There is also Fantasy name Generator. You can get character descriptions, background descriptions, all that. No pictures. Spring Hole was where I got some of my characters Color codes, muscle tone, and height. I had originality in them, I just only cared about the story itself and didn't really think of a character design and some looked way too close to actual characters in my head, so I generated an appearance and drew that look.
