i ugly cried at that part 😭 that was so sad and hits deep in several ways for me. we’ve lost 2 classmates while i’ve been in high school; one just in this past year who was an old childhood friend of mine and my next door neighbor, a long fight through cancer, and the other one, a boy in my class, back when we were only in our freshman year, drowned saving someone else. so sad, and so beautiful what this principal did for this student.

That man felt the ultimate shame that a person can have. Meeting someone that used to know you as a very nice person with all of your deeds laid before you. He's kind of crying at his own broken heart. That's probably the closest metaphor to 'meeting god and be judged' that any person will ever see.

3:07 this one really got to me. When I was younger I was part of an acting theatre, and the community was just gorgeous. It was the companionship every child deserves. I don't know a single person that wouldn't have done something similar for any one of us. I remember sitting with older actors/musicians, listening to the orchestra practice, and this brought back lovely memories. I miss so much being there, and it was a shame I couldn't stay longer. There are things I learned there that I hold special to my heart, and it makes me emotional remembering that time in my life. I wish you all could understand.

My husband took me out to lunch at a local steakhouse for Veterans Day. I was completely surprised when the waitress told me a gentleman gifted us our lunch and that the desert was on them. It’s random acts of kindness that remind us of the lords work. If this was you I am grateful for your kindness and the love you showed a stranger.

Mixed feelings here. On the one hand, I find it touching and sweet that the children help each other. On the other hand, it makes me sad that it is not a matter of course to have friends (or siblings) and to support and stand by each other. In my childhood this would not have been a random act of kindness but simply the kind way to act and deal with each other. Life seems to be so much harder and colder nowadays.

Many Religions that we know, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but with the time, their original teachings and scriptures were corrupted with polytheism or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays. Which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Allah means the only and one God, the God of all prophets, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgement, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this life and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : 19 Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! 20 Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. 21 Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. 22 It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. I remember when I used to work and I would be in the supermarket dressed up in a suit from work. I can't tell you how many elderly people would tell me to go first because I had to go to work or they said I must be tired coming from work and they had the time. I usually was always rushing to work or exhausted from work. That random little act of kindness meant the world to me. Now I'm retired and now I do it including mothers who have their hands full with more than one child trying to simply check out. It's so true what they say that you get more out of giving than you could ever get out of receiving. If everyone tried it even once in a blue moon, the world would be a better place.

I did read about a guy who gave a lady a bunch of flowers and his buddy posted it on his social media and the next day the lady was grumpy and said he caused her distress. She was having a coffee and he asked if she would like some flowers.
