I really don't understand a Ferrari team taking out the only driver they have battling with Max for this season and letting Sainz do the tires change during last SC instead of Charles. I simply don't get it. Charles was the best driver along the race and could have easily won it. And he would have deserved it. Is the second time this year Ferrari is simply ruining Charles.

Tons of people are talking about it. Leclerc is a generational talent really only matched by max for their age group

This was probably the best race of the season! Such brilliant, brilliant racing with the best commentary I have ever heard! "THROUGH GOES HAMILTON!!!" is a scream that will forever live in my memory and will forever give me goosebumps!

That sequence with Leclerc, Hamilton, Perez and in the end Alonso and Norris is what F1 is all about. Pure racing with 5 different teams. If you ever want to show someone what F1 looks like at its best, show them this clip. The commentary is incredible as well. Goosebumps.

Doesn't matter who you support, the 3 way fight between Leclerc, Perez and Hamilton was incredible to watch. Hamilton taking the opening given to him, Perez immediately fighting back. Leclerc pushing back through and then the continued battle between Hamilton and Leclerc. What a spectacle it was.

This race was a clear display that places like Silverstone are exactly what F1 needs! Wide grand prix tracks with interesting corner complexes instead of narrow street circuits with only fast corners and 90° corners and 1 or 2 long DRS highways

That’s because this is an all time classic circuit. Circuits like this aren’t built anymore, love was actually put into it, not just money motivated haha

No country is gonna invest millions into a massive permanent race track with huge upkeep costs for 1 race a year. The reason street circuits are the new norm is bc they're cheap easy to set up/break down and dont require absurd amounts of time, investment, and upkeep.

That sky camera shot from 5:27-5:40 is one of the best aerial shots from this season. To capture 5 drivers, all from different teams, fighting for positions 2-6 in the last 6 laps of the race is truly a sight to remember.

I remember I was jumping up and down watching that shot live cause it legit thought Lando and Alonso was going to be right in the heat of it

There was another shot where they show the 3-4 fight then quickly pan to the 1-2 fight without any cut. That one felt like something from a movie.

I don't think it was "deserved" win for Sainz. Actually he got lucky with his poor performance along the race. Running wide on early race and hand over the lead to MV, and later on he showed slower pace than CL even with damaged wing.. He just got lucky. Seriously, with that kind of car, Sainz is pretty much below par, and that comes to me by surprise that Binotto extending his contract even he had not win with such fast car

That race was incredible. It hsd everything, great racing, constant action, teamd somewhat out of order, some contact, some drama, an accident and a suprise winner.

Absolutely no one talking about the fantastic recovery drive of Sergio Perez. The guy was flying from back of the pack to 2nd place finish. If there had been a few more laps he would have made to the top step.

Hamilton definitely gets a podium at Silverstone... doesn't matter what he drives. What a beast!

The level of competition from drivers is getting real intense. Ferrari bounced back with Leclec and Sains. Lando Norris is the one to look out for as well.

I started drive to survive this last year and was so hooked! Have played the f1 21 and 22 pretty extensively and this is my first f1 season I'm watching live. Lemme tell ya, I don't think I'll ever see a race as extraordinary as this one was for almost the rest of my life 😂 I don't count the max vs Lewis finale last year cause I didn't see it live but man I got spoiled haha 😂

This was exactly the definition of a stunning race. It contained all the highs and lows of Motorsport, featuring DNFs, Overtakes, drama, strategy era and a first time winner. Add Silverstone to the above and you've got the most brilliant race of the season thus far.

@Luken that damage was pretty insignificant. The same damage Lewis got last year in Arabia when he ran into the back of Max. So it didn't really slow Charles down.

Wow, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! I went ahead and go'ogled the latest by Cynthia Yulesin and after 72 hours I now sweat like a “normal” person lol

One the most enjoyable races; Silverstone is just a fantastic circuit

That Hamilton, Leclerc, and Perez battle at the end was so exciting to watch and the commentary just made it better

To me Silverstone is the best f1 track ever You can overtake in almost every corner. You can use every cm of the track, there are spectaculary fast corners. Beautiful turns sequences. You can force the entries a lot.
