Gotta say, I agree on the GT4. Just looked up the stats for the American version and it ran an 11.6 1/4 mile at 121 mph. Excellent for a car with that kind of power thanks to that PDK transmission. 😁

This Porsche video was not as good as the other ones. The new Porsche are too big and heavy they need to make them better sizes like they did in the past. Porsche's are not as nimble as they once were and when you drive one you feel like you are driving small truck 😂

Honestly, the GT4RS was probably the most impressive. Being able to live with the two 911's is definitely punching above it's weight and Yanni's launch in the second drag race... wow he 100% nailed that start!

IF you look at the stats of the car its really not that impressive at all.

Great vid gents. 911 GT3RS is my favourite car. Has been since the 996 and each one just keeps getting better. Given the choice, I’d have a 997 Gen 2 version. Amazing that the GT3 and the GT3RS are so closely matched in speed. I suspect that on track the RS would be a few seconds faster per lap. Interesting though.

This is fun just watching, can't imagine being one of the drivers 🎉

I’ve driven GT3 manual and the cayman GTS which had a turbo 4. I’ve also driven the 992 911 S and the 992 911 Turbo S. The cayman for some reason had such a raw driving dynamic that the 911 didn’t have. It just felt so flat. It was a blast to drive and just put a smile on my face. I’d choose the GT4RS. The GT3 with a manual transmission is a super close 2nd.

I don't want to be that guy, but cmon bruh... his job is drag racing cars that your neighbor would kill their firstborn to drive in, and being paid millions for doing so. I love the GT4RS but man if you are over 6 feet getting in and out of that car is a pain lol. Those seats are crazy but once you are in them you aren’t going anywhere. Awesome cars for sure

CARWOW should have a track test series too it would be a bangerrr to see track focused cars doing lap times

I also agree, a track test would make sense. Not sure if its true or not, but apparently the Cayman GT4 / RS Spec chassis out performed the 911 Chassis when it was first released. It was also given a 4.0 Ltr but not the GT3 4.0, an entirely different engine all together. Would have made the 911 obsolete had they shared the same Spec 4.0 . The GT3 and RS version are far more pollished and a lot prettier but the GT4 / RS for what you get its a bargain and has the potential to match the GT3 on the track.

Based on the audio, the GT4RS sounds like the most raw and visceral experience, I’d take that! Since I’d be rich, I’d then buy a Porsche 911 touring for daily driving :)

These are amazing cars and I've sat in a cayman GT4 2016 before for a journey around winding roads and a spirited driver. But you would be amazed at how much enjoyment and good handling you can get.... from a simple mustang 5.0.

I wonder what downforce setting the GT4 RS was in during the races. at 12:12 you'll notice the normal gt3 has its wing set to the lowest downforce setting, definitely helps a bit

Same, the 4RS performed admirably, however it’s performance is contradictory to other drag races which had it neck and neck with the 3RS. Archie’s video actually had it beating it multiple times. So yeah, not sure.

I reckon it was in its highest downforce setting and that’s why it came third in all races. It should’ve blasted past the GT3RS at +160mph
