Shedinja being Sans type actually makes sense because Sans constantly avoids your attacks during his battle, and Shedinja's whole thing is that its typing makes it avoid most attacks.

I don't know what type I'd add, but I would add the move "too many types" a type type move that sets a room/terrain that makes all types neutrally effective to each other for 5 turns.

also, i think the crab type also including multi-limb pokemon is either because of the discovery, that (simplified) "everything eventually evolves into crabs". Could also be more specifically from the "Swords" comic about discovery, where the "sword of evolution" first evolved the enemy into becomming bigger, stronger and grow extra arms, and then evolve into a crab

This is one of your most commendable videos. From the concept to the brilliant editing of a 9 hour vod this is just plain impressive. Thank you so much. And honestly a lot of my ideas for "What if YOU were to add another type to this?" are already taken, but how about Toy type? Stufful can be a Toy Type Pokemon for an easy pick, then you have a weird pick like Hitmontop (cuz he's named after a top), and you can even give someone a Yo-Yo move as a physical Toy attack that hits twice! Didn't want to take up ALL the fun theorizing, of course.

Now we just need Wolfy to examine all these types competitively.

"Speed" type. Moves like Quick Attack and Extreme Speed would be examples of "Speed" type moves. I'd also add Fake Out since under normal circumstances, it's a Normal type priority move, but that move is Sus type.

The logic so far (as of 1:37) reminds me of myself as a kid trying to figure out what beat what. I remember reasoning that a Taillow’s peck move will beat a Makuhita because it looks like a bag of sand, and birds can peck open bags. In reality it was just flying > fighting but I still won against Brawly 😂

I love the amount of thought put into the types. Like, the fact that Azurill and Marill are gender type references the fact that up until gen 6, 1/3 female Azurill would become male Marill upon evolving due to their gender ratios being different. I love the thoroughness of it all.

If you want a new type, here's one: Sad :( type. It multiplies any liquid based or sad themed move by three. If I knew the moves, I'd definitely give an example, but Cubone and Marowak are definitely Sad :( type potential. (God I hope that it's not already there)

I was wondering why Sudowoodo was Furry type and then I remembered that Jacob defines furbait Pokemon as any Pokemon that can properly wear a hoodie and Sudowoodo applies to that. This mod is amazing

sudowoodo has "owo" in it's name and is pronounced sood-uwu-doh

It's also a rock that pretends to be a tree, so in a world of rocks it is kind of what a furry is to us.

A type I’d love to see if they added Pokémon from way later games like B/W is ‘object’ because a lot of the Pokémon are just items or objects, so chandelure being under object makes the most sense

Does anyone happen to have an entire list of the types added? I’m tempted to personally make an eeveelution for each one. Also, I would totally add a food or snack type, with it being added to Pokémon that functionally are just living food (see; Alcremie, Vanillite, Sinistea), or Pokémon that are canonically eaten in some way (see; Slowpoke, Appleton, Cherubi). Maybe it reacts to conditions (like Burned or Frozen), or has a special way of interacting with its secondary typing (for example, the burned condition would be great at dealing with a Food/Ice type, or something.)

Can we appreciate how the developers changed the Pokemon's types, used logic to make type match-ups, and added spawns that wouldn't usually be in the route to show off the new types. Absolutely amazing! Edit: Please don't get political with the replies, it's just a game.

You asked for type suggestions at the end. I couldn't think of anything, but shared this vid with a friend and they said immediately said "food type" which I'm honestly surprised isn't in this! Food type would be good for pokemon like Vanilluxe, Appletun, or even Tropius because his bananas. Or if you just want to do something cursed add like, Milk Type for Milktank.

The fact that Delphox was so vulnerable the damage calculation overflows and did just 1 hp *just* because that's the minimal amount is hilarious

@Helter Skelter Not quite. Silvally had two types, the Emerald Type, and the Type type. Type doubles the damage interactions of every type in the game, while the Emerald Type was super effective against all three of Delphox's types. So it's 8x damage because of the Emerald type's calculations, and then that 8x gets doubled again because of the Type type's interaction. Except it would have dealt so much damage to Delphox that the game couldn't calculate it, and it underflowed , making it deal less than 0 damage. Because the minimum damage that can be dealt to a Pokemon is 1 damage, that's how much damage the game gave Delphox. tl;dr, Delphox got pounded so hard the game gave the damage a negative value which ended up getting rounded up to 1

So many types here are just descriptions of the Pokémon, so we definitely need an Edgy type too!

Prime type being prime numbers was a genius move

Unity Type: - Attacks costs 20$ and if your attack is super effective or not very effective, it will cost 50$ instead. - Moves with STAB costs an additional 50$ and stacks with the previous attack fee. - Fighting another Unity type Pokémon will cancel any fee from both sides.* - This type will literally be super effective against half the chart, ineffective against the other half and normal damage is applied to another Unity type Pokémon. - Reviving from fainting costs 100$ despite the method (revive item, PokeCenter, etc.) - The PC owner at Pokémon Center also gets 20$ if you put your Unity type Pokémon in and out of a box. *NOTE: These fees applies to both you and any opponent using an Unity Type Pokémon, meaning that if you don't KO that Pokémon fast, you'll receive less money from battles.

Add the "chad" type, which is the only type that isn't not effective, and also isn't super-effective, so it always does a constant amount of damage. then, if able to mega, "chad" type becomes "giga-chad", dealing 2x amount of damage as "chad" type did, but its still not super-affective or not affective. love your work!
