Pov: You are from a wealthy family and you take ballet and dance lessons in general for fun. One day you were in the ballroom of your manor and you heard music playing. You looked around for the source of music but couldn't find it. So instead you decide to dance your heart out, which is what you did. Once you have finished, you hear someone clapping. The person clapping is your best friend you knew since you were little. You turn around gracefully and giggle. Your best friend asks in a posh accent "May I have this dance fair young maiden?" You respond with a "Yes you may kind sir." Once he has taken your hand, the two of you start waltzing around the ballroom. this literally gave me memories from when I was 6 - 12 wanting to be a ballerina for so bad. I went to ballet classes through those years but ever since covid came I had no choice but to stop. I've always had a dream of learning ballet and being a ballerina someday. Unfortunately my family isn't the wealthiest and we barely get by so taking ballet lessons/classes buying pointe shoes and doing all that stuff just isn't affordable for me and never has been. I feel a little discouraged because I wanted to learn since I was a very small kid and maybe if I could have I'd be farther along but since I'm now older I feel it's far too late for me. It's fine and though I still have dreams of someday being a professional dancer in ballet I just don't think it's right for me anymore.

It's never too late! I took my first ballet class in years because it was free at my college! It was really fun! I've also found that other kinds of dance can be just as enjoyable and easier to pick up, such as ballroom dancing and line dancing!

You can always try again. There are some ballet beginner/ advanced dance class videos on YouTube.
