Man I miss Disneyland. It was my moms favorite place & it was truly magical. We went 3 times a year. Haven t been back since I lost her to cancer when I was 14. At least we were able to go one last time before she past.

I went to a parade like this in Disneyland. I was four I think at the time. I loved lightning McQueen. I was definitely not like the other little girls playing with dolls and Baby dolls. I just loved cars. I grew up with a sensory processing disorder and anxiety. When we went to this parade and the moment I saw lighting I jumped with excitement. My mom said it was one of the best days of her life seeing me so happy for once.

The things they use for the Main Street Electrical parade in WDW are driven by people. It was mentioned in the WDW Podcast by Lou Mongello (I think that's how his last name is spelt). I wish Disneyland would bring it back once in a while. I haven't seen it since the early 90's when I was there for my first time
