Well, they were the number 4 ranked defense (behind Buffalo, San Francisco, and Denver) but I don’t think that’s the point anyway. The real point of conversation is the fact that​ people were so quick, and I mean SO QUICK to write off the Bucs’ defense as ‘amazing’. Yes, they were currently ranked top 5, but the key word is CURRENTLY. Every avid NFL fan knows how skewed rankings are within the first 5 or so weeks because at least 90% of these stats are skewed due to who you play. Here are who the Bucs had played so far in three weeks: Cowboys (same old Cowboys that everyone knows about LOL + Prescott got injured halfway through) Saints (you can see how bad their offense is. It’s their defense that’s good) Packers (a team that was also 2-1 due to their defense again. Aaron Rodgers nor the offense has been overly ‘impressive’ this season so far. Jones having one great running game against the Bears has been their highlight) IF the Bucs first three games were against something like Bills, Ravens, and Chiefs, I 100% guarantee you this defense would not be ranked even Top 20. In this case it’s very likely they would be 0-3 (especially if you assume the same situation would happen regarding C. Godwin and J. Jones injuries in combination with a decimated OLine) But the lesson here is: It’s who you play that sets up your current ‘rankings’

Exactly....people keep bringing up the online from two years ago. The truth is, Patrick doesn't play the same anymore. Part of the issue during that Superbowl was the lack of quick throws that could keep the BUCS honest. Instead, he kept running around looking for Tyreek and Kelce. It hurt him in that game more than his online being depleted. You have to show the BUCS that you're not afraid to run the ball, and get it out quick to all your playmakers.

Brady played the best game of the season so far. He only had 3 passing TDs the first 3 games. Last night alone he had 3. Can't blame the GOAT if his defense was poor last night and kept the Buccs offense off the field. Mahomes had the ball for 17 more minutes than Brady and still only won by 10 points. Chiefs also converted 12 out of 17 3rd Downs. Brady outplayed Mahomes. Buccs only rushed for 3 total yards while Chiefs had 186 more rushing yards.

Tbh Shannon’s in the wrong in this one, first time the BUCCS offense played really well but their defense and special teams let them down mahomes just felt really comfortable because their running game was running all over Tampas defense.
