Brendan Urie is one of very few singers who can *actually* perform to album level quality live on stage.

Actually not to album level, his lives are so much better than official audios because he adds things like sudden high notes and manages to move around and everyone can see he has lots of fun which makes everyone have a lot of fun too.

I got to see this live, and while it's not my usual cut of music, there wasn't a dry eye in the house that night, including mine. I had never heard it performed live on this level in all my life, and that performance was definitely the highlight of the night, because you just cannot beat this version. The only one who can is long since passed.

I can’t believe I haven’t listened to Panic in years because I thought they were just some Emo band from my childhood. I was a classical prodigy before a predictable mental breakdown at 15. All I can imagine this band, especially Brandon, feeling when they finished this cover of such a masterpiece so masterfully is the feeling I had finishing a concerto as well as I could hope for with a brilliant cadenza and high trill at the end or maybe Beethoven’s 7th Symphony going perfectly when I played in an orchestra…. There’s no feeling like it. You want to leap in the air and get wasted and just celebrate what for me may have been the greatest feeling I’ll ever feel. I think it might be the greatest feeling possible. I’m so happy that other musicians who didn’t breakdown get to feel this feeling. I’m sure Freddie did. Holy Shhhhhiiiitttt!!!

Such a hard song to cover, being so incredibly well known, down to every perfect and mismatched note, you'll be damned every which way for singing it, but covered so incredibly well! A really smart choice to evoke and utilise Freddie's vocals at the start to smooth the transition from expectation to personalised vocal choices. the operatic vocals are mostly pre recorded,not necessarily by Queen. they could've been pre recorded by opera singers. The people who consider this to be cheating are big assholes cuz its impossible to sing in that way, play guitar and drums.
