@mahepa how can you judge an entire album without having listened to it? i relate to driver's license even though i'm almost forty and don't have my license.. 'cause i know what heartbreak feels like. feels the same if you're 18 or 40. would you feel the same if the driver's license was replaced by something you don't connect to being a teen? i would say you can definitely tell she's young by listening to the album and that she hasn't reached her full potential as a songwriter yet, but i don't feel cringy listening to someone young coming into their own and becoming something great.

i can't believe she's gotten this far... it feels so surreal... around this time last year i was conflicted during icebreakers at school because they asked me for my favorite singer and olivia rodrigo was my first thought but i wasn't sure if she qualified as a singer or if anyone knew her... i was occasionally stalking her instagram for quarantunes and listening to pretender over and over because i couldn't figure out the piano... i was staring in awe at white flowers and telling my sister to zoom in on the pages of music theory on her piano stand because i was so overcome with awe i couldn't even find words to comment on anything- she posted it the day after my fourteenth birthday and i still remember, clear as day, thinking that it felt like a late birthday present... i was watching the first and last episodes of hsmtmts over and over again because the start of something knew, just for a moment, and breaking free stunned me into silence no matter how many times i listened to them... i was streaming all i want on repeat because it was the one song we had she had written and her talent and musical brilliance shone through in every lyric and melody... this time last year, she was our little secret. and the i feel like the selfish part of me wishes that she didn't blow up this big because of the drama it brings and how it can change people, but she's come so far and impacted so many i can really only feel pride... i'm gonna cry lol

Shubh Tripathi I don't think she's rude or arrogant but she's just expressing herself through her songs same with Taylor and selena and many other artists and yeah I always did kinda feel bad for their exes cause their reputation is ruined forever in front of the world especially if they're famous, but it's the fans who take it too far by sending their exes death threats and hate comments on SC and ruining their image even more, I'm a huge swiftie myself and I always despised how a huge amount of the fans used to send all of Taylor's exes death threats and stuff like that and cause of that taylor got so many haters from her exes fans as well, unfortunately taylor is one of the most loved and most hated artists in the world cause of the extreme emotions she displays in her songs, but those are emotions an everyday human being feels like anger, love, Jealousy, feeling of taking revenge, heartbreak and forgiveness, artists like taylor and liv just express themselves intensely through music cause that's the way they feel most comfortable with expressing themselves which ppl shouldn't take too seriously and Learn to only focus on the artists musical talent rather than their exes, I thought it stopped for taylor and it did but after ppl started threatening Olivia's ex too which is not even confirmed if they were dating I realized that this cycles gonna continue forever, and that gained liv a lot of haters as well, it's a never ending loop and finally ppl just deal with it, taylor doesn't really care about haters anymore and haters don't mind taylor as much as they used to and same with olivia ppl will just deal with it that quite possible livs future exes if there are any will get serious threats too and liv might get a lot of backlash from that as well just like taylor but hopefully she'll deal with it
