Watching these videos, 1 thing is clear. Suspensions are too short. With an 82 game season so many of these should be twice as long, and repeat suspension should automatically add games.

When a penalty like that is committed when a game's pretty much already decided, the innocent team in the matter (in this case, the Pens) should get the option of, in addition to the inevitable suspension, getting the 2/4/5/however many minutes applied to the first minutes of the next game between those two teams. If the penalty was in the playoffs, then the next playoff game between those two teams (even if not in the same year.)

the reason is because there are no bob proberts or dave semenkos around..thats exactly why.

@Sid the Kid ever heard the expression “keep your head on a swivel?” Depends on the severity. It use to be your fault if you put yourself in a vulnerable position. I got KO’d from a elbow in Jr’s. It was blind side and the puck never got to my stick. It was a 2 min. Penalty. I also know I shouldn’t of put myself in that vulnerable position. That’s all I’m saying. Basically unless you use your stick as a weapon there shouldn’t be suspensions. Game misconduct maybe but not suspensions. I got knocked out 4 times playing hockey, lost 3 teeth and had my orbital bone cracked. Not one suspension nor should any of them been suspended.
